Kael entered first inside the king's throne room. Kael has entered the door and the door closed with a bang. He saw by the distance that the king was sitting in his noble throne. The room was painted red. Big windows on the side of the room and golden plated corners in the throne room. The windows were covered with thick golden curtains. The floor has a red carpet that leads towards the throne.

Kael immediately removed his robes to let him be seen by the king. The king has his noble robes and he wears a crown in his head with a staff.

The guards were all equipped with silver-plated armors and they covered their head with helm. The mood was heavy as Kael walks towards the king. He can hear his own footsteps as he walks. His heart raced a bit as he approached. He felt that he was gonna have a fever as the time goes by.

"Kael Melvin at your service.", Kael said as he kneeled his one leg to the floor.

"At ease!", said the king with a loud voice.

Kael stands up not so fast nor not too slow. He stands straight then bowed. Without a second thought, the king spoke.

"State your business.", said the King in a clear and a loud voice.

"As you wish your highness! I came here to deliver a message from your right hand in the name of Lord Mael of Golden Valley. I act as his messenger.", He said as he grabbed something in his backpack.

Shing!

All the guard's weapons immediately went to his neck. Kael nearly collapsed as he hands the book and documents to him. It was grabbed by his assistant but the swords were still on his neck.

"That was from your right hand, Sir Vanz Aldougs", Kael said as he gasped air.

"From him?", the king pondered.

The king immediately stands up and grabbed the book.

Hahahhahah!

"Was he alive? where was he?", The king asked.

"He was alive your highness! But where he was? that would be a secret.", Kael said to him.

"Everyone let me have a moment with him for a minute. Everybody out!", shouted the king.

They immediately went outside the throne room and they were left alone in there.

"So where were we? Aha! where was he hiding?", the king asked.

"He was currently hiding on Lord Mael's mansion. He fled to the Golden Valley when an incident happened. A dungeon gate has appeared and his daughter was kidnapped by ghouls. Which later on was saved by the Lord himself. So as a man who was indebted to him, he worked as a right hand.", Kael briefly said.

"So that means he will not come back anymore?", the king asked.

"He will not your majesty. Not until he was hunted by the Lords. He can't go back.", he said.

"Yeah, that was the wise thing to do. He was not safe here because they have elite assassins that were skilled enough to kill him. I as the king can't protect him because they have eyes everywhere. They will only be trapped here like a caged bird. Tell Lord Mael that I will personally visit him someday. And the evidence here will be safe with me. I will act immediately.", The king said to him.

"Thank you your majesty! I will make sure to notify Lord Mael. Since I've completed my mission. I can leave now.", Kael said to the king.

"By the way, what's your name?", the King asked.

"I'm Kael your majesty", He replied.

"Kael! a messenger of Lord Mael of Golden Valley. I am indebted to your lord for saving Vanz's life. Ask him if he wants a gift in advance.", the king said to Kael with a serious face and tone.

"I believe he was not materialistic your highness. I believe that he will wish for friendship rather than material things.", Kael said to him.

"Oh really? then I will reward him! As a friend that saved the life of my previous Vanz!", he said to him.

"Your highness was wise! I'm sure that he will be happy!", Kael replied.

"I will not waste your precious time your majesty! This humble messenger will leave immediately.", Kael said to him as he was bowing down.

"Thank you for your message! I will immediately dispatch my men to apprehend them.", the king promised.

Kael went outside and saw that the guards went inside the throne room. He was escorted by guards as he went outside the mansion.
