53 CHAPTER 53 : DO YOU LOVE HIM?

In a room, a woman opened her eyes slowly. Looking at the canopy, she didn't recognize it. Looking around she is sure that this is not her room.

"Miss Li, did you wake up?", a lady's voice is asking Li Xi Rui.

"En. Eh! QiQi?", Li Xi Rui is shocked. Is it QiQi who brought her here? But where exactly is here?

"It's good that you didn't look as pale anymore", QiQi put down the the tray in her hand on the table in front of her.

"Where am I? I remember feeling dizzy and falling down", Li Xi Rui in deep thought.

"This is the Qilin sect in Jianghu", QiQi take Li Xi Rui's wrist to check on her condition.

"Why am I suddenly in Jianghu?", Li Xi Rui just couldn't fathom what had happened. In Jianghu? Isn't that is where only martial art masters can go? Her martial art is not at the level where she could come and go whenever she wants in the Jianghu.

"It's not my place to say unless with the master's permission", QiQi took the bowl of medicine and handed it to Li Xi Rui.

Taking the bowl, the bitter smells of the medicine penetrated her nose. "Then why are you here? Isn't you supposed to be in your home village?", Li Xi Rui gulped down the medicine. If it's not bitter, ten it is surely not medicine!

"Me and brother are on our way to the capital, so along the way we visit my teacher before taking off", QiQi explained. Old Bai Wu is her teacher. They had not seen each other for 5 years since that old man move to the Jianghu permanently. Who would have guessed that she will encounter Li Xi Rui in Jianghu? Maybe the second master can, but she surely cannot.

"En. I have suspected it", Li Xi Rui instinctively caressed her belly. Finally, it is confirmed that she has something growing inside her. Smiling, she looked up at QiQi, "Even if it is not from the man I love, this little one is still a part of me".

This statement shocked QiQi. "This is the second prince child, right miss?", QiQi had a complicated look on her face.

"En. It's his", Li Xi Rui didn't stop caressing her belly to warm it up.

"Then, you didn't love him? Miss, You really didn't love him?", QiQi, couldn't help but asking the same question again and again.

"En. I didn't love him", Li Xi Rui calmly nodded her head. Why should she lie on loving him? It's true she didn't love him. It's not a big deal having his child even when she didn't love him.

Bai Qi Qi could only felt pity towards the sect master. His feeling towards the miss is obvious as the sun in clear sky- bright and warm. But she also knew, the matter involving the heart is not something she could casually say.

While uttering the heart shattering words, there is a man behind the door who could hear everything. He had long known that Li Xi Rui didn't love him. But when she didn't shy away from his touches, he had thought that maybe, just maybe, she had started to have feelings for him too. His heart is shattered into a million pieces. Knowing and hearing it from the same person is different. While knowing he could still have hope, but when uttered by the intended person, the hopes are shattered.

"Miss, are you perhaps still in love with the crown prince?", QiQi asked for confirmation.

Before he could hear the answer from her mouth, he flees. He was afraid. Afraid to be hurt more. Would his heart still be intact if he heard on how Xi Rui is still in love with his brother? Clenching his heart, he flees for his life. But could he still pretend that Xi Rui have feelings towards him? Will he be alright?

"No. Before this, I thought that maybe I would always love him. But now, I can say I really hate him. I don't have an ounce of love towards him anymore", Li Xi Rui said that while looking at QiQi with her clear pair of eyes.

Those eyes are so clear like stars in a dark night. 'So beautiful~', QiQi had thought. "So, why did miss didn't seems to be avoiding the second prince's touches if you didn't love him?", she asked. Isn't it normal to feel disgusted when someone you don't love touched you 'that' way?

"You are mistaken QiQi", Li Xi Rui explained. She proceeded on telling QiQi on what had happened the day she was kidnapped and their plan. "I seem to not hate being touch by him. It might be because it doesn't matter anymore", Li Xi Rui said. It is just her body anyway. Is that so important than her family?

"I understand", QiQi said. Based on what the miss had said, it seems like she has given up on love. So it doesn't matter on who she have relationship with. But how could she be confident to just let any man touch her like that without being repulsed? So, she comes to a conclusion, miss Li is really oblivious to her own feeling. Without an ounce of feeling, no one would just let someone to touch them freely. Maybe she really did have some sort of feeling towards the sect master.

"Besides, he would be my husband by next month. So, it doesn't matter now or later", she chuckles as she looks at QiQi constipated face. She really didn't have any protest even if Long Jie really wants to do 'that'.

"What? Xiao Xi and Li Lang are looking for my daughter?!", left prime minister shouted. What are those fools doing? Didn't he already order them to just don't do anything? What if his daughter's reputations suffered again? And if something happened to Xiao Xi, wouldn't his daughter be devastated?

"Answering master, this old steward is really sorry for my stupid son!", the Li steward kowtowed. Why would his foolish son do something without listening to order? Is he truly that stupid?!

"Go bring them back!", left prime minister massaged his temple. His daughter truly is fine! Long Jie had sent a report to him on why Li Xi Rui couldn't come back. She is ill and has been save by his guard. In fact, the left prime minister had been reading the scroll when Li Lang had barged in to inform about his missing daughter.

"No need father! I had brought them back!", a soft man's voice echoed in the study hall. Simultaneously, everyone looked at that voice's direction.

"My Son!", left prime minister walked to his son and embraced him. He has always been affectionate to both his son and daughter. Why would he differentiate them? Both are his child after all.

"Father, I'm back!", Li Mu Han hugged his father. He really did miss his father.

The servants couldn't help but feeling moved by the scene in front of them. Finally, the family is complete with their young master's presence.
