Chapter 8：CHAPTER 8 : GOING ABROAD

Josh and Phillip got into their hometown in 4 hours. Josh helped him preparing the funeral. Josh also visited his mom on his house, they were hugging to each other and tears started to fall down from their eyes.

Josh :"Sorry mom, it took me a year to go back to you. Are you OK ? I miss you so much !"

His mom :"I'm fine, you look skinnier ! You must had been working too hard, did you skips your meals often ?"

Josh :"No, I never forget to have breakfast, you told me the most important meal is breakfast right. Yes I am very busy with my work. Mom, here I've got some money for you. Just use it to buy your needs. Buy new blanket and new jacket, your old jacket has worn out isn't it ? It will get cold in the next few month !"

His mom :"This is too much son, you'll need money for your own too !"

Josh :"Don't worry mom, I've got good pays in my current job. I have saved some too on my own. These are yours ! Mom, how is your knee ? Is it hurt often ?"

His mom :"Yeah sometimes, but it's OK, I've got some medicine from the doctor."

Josh :"Mom, taking medicine in the long term not good for your health. Here, I have some vitamins for your knee. Vitamins and supplement food it's OK to be consumed in the long term, the organics one especially. I hope you'll live longer ! I still have a long journey to achieve my goals. Next week I'll go abroad mom. Wish me luck !"

His mom :"Going abroad ? What for ?"

Josh :"My company has a project to buy old ship from other country, so my boss will take me with him to take a look for the ship."

His mom :"Oh I see... You should take care of your self ! Don't forget to contact me when you'll get back ! Where will you go this time ?"

Josh :"Maybe we'll go to Russia this time. Next time will be Japan, Germany and England hahaha... I'm exciting to go there mom !"

His mom :"Well, we won't see each other for long then ?"

Josh :"Don't worry mom, at least I'll go home once a year !"

He didn't hear any noise again, everything back to silence since it's already midnight.

Suddenly he heard someone knock on his door "Have you slept Josh ?" it's the old lady voice. "No, I'm not" Josh opened his door. "There was a lady looking for you and give this food for you, but I didn't allow her to get inside just now. You know my curfew right ?" The old lady then gave him the box of cake to Josh. "Sure I know your strict rules, I agreed with you. Next time if that woman come again just tell her I'm not around, I'll never want to see her in the future. But thank you for delivered this food to me." Josh received the box. The old lady replied "Well, I won't interfere with your business, but I'll relay your message to her next time. Good night !"

Josh just put the box of cake on his table and went to sleep. The next morning, he just threw it away on the garbage and went back to work.

Meanwhile Marcia was curious to know weather Josh got the cake or not, did he eat it ? Because she put something on that cake. Actually, she had planned to drugged him 2 days ago and wanted to had sex with him, but she couldn't find him since Josh went back to his hometown. But she had heard about his come back that night, so she insisted to see him that night. Without her known The landlord lady has a curfew and very strict person. So, her planned failed again to trap him. And tomorrow Josh and Hawk will go abroad, she won't bother them since they had to leave very early in the morning. She said to herself "It's OK I failed this time, there are still a lot of time when they'll back next week." Her mind was full with bad intentions. That night Josh went sleep early, before that he prepared some stuff for his trip tomorrow.

The next day Josh woke up very early in the morning, he was so excited to feel the new experience, the new journey. He went to the harbor to meet with Hawk and Doug, Brian came along also. Josh was the first came in there. Now they got into the ship and got ready to go. The weather was nice, the sea was very calm, the wind blew softly, the sun just came up from his sleeping. It took 2 days sailing on the sea to get into the nearest city in Russia. In the second day the wind suddenly blew a bit strong then rain started to fall hard, the turbulence waves raised up about 4 meters height. Luckily the ship was in good condition. Finally they could passed the bad weather and the next day they arrived at city P. Their ship finally docked in the harbor after waiting for an hour queue. Brian showed Douglas to the hotel and he contacted the customers to informed their arrival at the hotel B.

Brian was very busy since their arrival contacting the customers and the buyers for appointments. Brian was very skillful with his job. Doug was so lucky to had him as his personal assistant.

Brian had done the hotel check in for all of them, he booked two rooms for them. Josh shared the room with Hawk, while Doug shared the room with Brian. Actually Brian wanted to book another room for Doug, but he refused for saving money. Doug just agreed to share his room with Brian, he was a humble boss. Brian had set up their meeting with the customers after lunch. Brian had offered their ship to three customers. While Doug and Brian had some meetings, Hawk and Josh had nothing to do, they decided to walking around the city and went to the market. They enjoyed their leisure time that afternoon. Hawk's eyes caught something interesting "Hmm this hair pin looks nice for Marcia !" he went closer look on that store, Josh just followed him. "So, how deep is your relation with Marcia ? When will you marry her ?"

Hawk :"We've been together for two years, but she seems like don't have any plan to get married with me. Once I proposed her, but she refused instead asked me some time to reconsider it. I just don't understand her, her care and her passion to me seems sincere. We've been living together for one and a half years, we had sex very often, but she didn't want to have a child with me. All I can do just to wait her and let it flow."

Josh :"Didn't you ever think that she just playing a round with you ?"

Hawk :"Sometime I've thought so, but then her passionate love live distracted me, and all I want from now just to keep her with me."

Josh :"What if someday she'll cheat you with other ?"

Hawk's eye got widened :"I will beat him down !" ..... he silent for a while and heaved a heavy sigh "But I maybe release her if she choose the other guy. Sometime I feel I can't conquered her wild heart. As long as she still choose to live with me I'll just accept her." He chose one hair pin and paid them then.

Josh :"I won't interfere with your business. My warn to you just be careful with her, she's not typical a sincere woman, you should be ready if she will leave you in the future."

The meeting with the other customer continue after the dinner. Josh and Hawk just spent the night at the bar near the hotel. There they met beautiful women with blonde hair and blue eyes. Hawk seems interested when one of the girl approached him " How are you hot guy ? Want to have some drink with me ?" Hawk accepted her invitation "Sure, what do you want ? I'll pay the bill" The other girl was approaching Josh also, but he refused her. He felt uncomfortable with foreigners and he stayed to be alert for bad intention, he had some experience with pickpocket before. Josh wanted to stay awake so he just ordered some cold drink with no alcohol. While Hawk was having fun with the girl he just met, they ordered some beers and wine. Finally Josh stopped him from drinking he got drunk already. Hawk was looking his wallet, but he couldn't find it. Now he got panic how to pay the bill ? Josh had paid them and told Hawk then. Josh has suspicious with the girl who wanted to run away after drinking, he grabbed her and search her body. The girl screamt and insulted him for sexual harrassment. Everybody eyes were focus to them. But Josh quick hand had found Hawk's wallet in a short time, so when the people were going to near them he had finished with her body searching. Josh then went out the bar quickly and took the drunk Hawk to go back to the hotel.

The next day he told Hawk to be careful next time with the stranger.
