Chapter 23：CHAPTER 23 : THE TRIP

Josh helped his mom and Megumi to prepare for the wedding, they went to Hawk's hometown very early in the morning. Josh drove his car for five hours to get into Hawk's place, finally they arrived at Hawk's hometown in the afternoon, Hawk's had prepared the hotel for them.

The next morning, Megumi was being dress up very beautifully, Caren saw her with envy in her eyes, Josh knew it but he just kept it in his mind "You'll be my beautiful princess also soon, just tell me if you'll ready in the future !"

The ceremony and the party had gone well, there were a lot of guests came. The food was good, Caren enjoyed the moment.

Hawk :"You've finally got her bro ! Have you conquered her ?"

Josh :"Na...not yet. You just wait and see ! Now just mind your own business ! Take care of Megumi nicely will you ?"

Hawk :"Don't worry I'll treat my princess well !"

Hawk's mom looked curious about a young girl lingering beside Josh, she asked Josh's mom.

Hawk's mom :"Who is that beautiful young lady in yellow dress madam ?"

Jenny :"Oh, she's Josh wife."

Hawk's mom :"Wife ? Since when they got married ?"

Jenny :"I think about a week ago."

Hawk's mom :"But I didn't hear anything about their marriage before ?"

Jenny :"Yes, they never held any banquet, just registered their marriage."

Hawk's mom :"Oh I see."

The party had over now. Josh took his mom back to his hometown two days later.

Josh :"Hawk I'll see you around next week, don't take vacations too long. There are lots of things to do at work !"

Hawk :"Yeah I know, I'll see you in a week."

Megumi :"Mom take care yourself. I'm sorry you'll be alone now."

Jenny :"Don't worry Meg, I'm use to it, I can take care of myself well."

Caren :"Good luck Meg, I'll see you soon ! Bye !"

They waved good bye to each other, Josh drove back to his hometown for five hours again, but this time he wasn't in hurry, he enjoyed the trip and once in a while he stopped at the rest area. Josh took a night stay at his house before went back to the city. This time he had to share his tiny room together with Caren. Caren actually felt awkward, but she felt exhausted from long trip, so she just got slept fast. Josh waited outside till she got sleep then he went into his room and slept beside her. The next morning, Caren opened her eyes and she saw Josh's face very close beside her, her eyes's widened she got shock and woke up directly. Josh grabbed her hand and pulled her back beside him"Just get some sleep a little longer !"

Caren felt awkward :"I...I think I have to pack up now, you know we have to go back early."

She got up and left Josh laid on the bed. Josh smiled, he satisfied he could held her a little longer just now. Now they drove back to the city after had breakfast prepared by Josh's mom.

Jenny :"Too bad you have to go back this fast, I still wanna talk to you a little longer."

Josh :"Later mom, I'll take you with us someday !"

Caren :"Yes mom we're sorry to leave you very soon. See you again."

Jenny knew about her son well, she could understand about their instant introductions, "Maybe this girl was not ready to give her all to my son yet. But I admire your braveness son ! I'll just wait till she opened up to me by herself." Jenny was very kind and warm heart mom, her calmness had conquered Josh's dad.

Josh was about to get ready for his abroad trip with his cruise, this time he would took Caren together with him.

Josh :"You have to prepare yourself for our trip to europe in a week."

Caren :"Europe ? Why should I come with you ? How about my father's company ?"

Josh :"I've told my man to do some repair to your ship, it will take some time. I want you to come with me this time to teach you about the ship business, we'll meet with my partner and some clients. I have a long dream to own a ship by myself."

Caren :"But you've own a cruise by yourself already ?"

Josh :"You don't know, I don't own it my myself. Yes I'm the vice president and I have some shares of it but I have a plan to own my own company by myself, that's why I plan it to use your dad's company.

Caren :"Oh I see."

Josh :"Now I want to teach you how to make fried rice. We go shopping now, and you'll prepare the ingredients !"

Caren just followed his instructions, she wanted to obey him this time "Hmm I think it wasn't bad idea to learn about cooking, I can enjoy it a bit now."

They prepared the ingredients together, Josh smiled to see her cheer up to do the preparing. Josh told her to prepare the pan and the utilities he gave her example and now he told her to do it by herself, she felt awkward at the beginning then Josh held her hands and do it together with her, he stood up behind her and very close to her. Her heart was beating fast, she felt awkward to be this close with him, she could felt the warm on his hands touching her hands. Josh smiled satisfied and he enjoyed that intimate moment together with her "OK it's finished now, you can served them on the plate now, don't forget it's your turn to do the dishes now !"

Caren was enjoying the trip, she shared the room with Josh but they slept in different bed, she hadn't ready to get close to Josh yet. It took two weeks to get into England, Josh introduced her to Helen. Helen got surprised to know Josh had married, but it didn't reduce her passion to get Josh, she just took her for granted "I think this is just pretending marriage, I don't see their intimate aura. Ah I still have chance with Josh then !"

That night one of his client Mr. Black invited him to his charity party together with Helen. But Josh took Caren as his partner, and he introduced her to Mr. Black as his wife. Caren looked beautiful and elegant in purple dress prepared by Josh. Helen saw her came together with Josh, she began to upset and she planned to ruined her dress. She took Caren away from Josh and she took a glass of wine, she was about to gave the glass to her but she deliberately slip the glass and the wine got poured to Caren's dress "Ouch I'm sorry, ouh your dress got wet, I'm sorry !"

Caren :"Oh it's OK."

Josh saw what happened, he came to her.

Josh :"What's wrong Caren ?"

Caren :"Oh, nothing."

Josh :"But you dress got wet. I'll tell someone to get another dress for you !"

Caren :"No need. We'll stay in here too long right ?"

Josh :"Yes, but I don't want you to catch cold later !"

Caren :"But it's OK to me."

Josh called someone, in thirty minutes someone came with a new dress for Caren, he grabbed her hand and took her to change dress in one of the room upstairs.

Caren :"You really shouldn't do this, it's fine with me !"

Josh :"But I insist. I don't want my wife get sick ! Don't get close to Helen again after this."

They went back to the cruise very late in the evening, Caren was so exhausted, she change her cloth and went to sleep directly. Josh saw her got sleep so easily, he went near her bed and cared her hair gently, he smiled at her then he kissed her forehead.

Josh took her to climbed the high mountain in Swiss the other day, she was excited to go skiing on that mountain, but she still cold to him since the incident with Helen. She knew Helen liked him, she could see her body language toward Josh, but she didn't know that Josh never had feeling for her. Josh knew her jealousy, he just smiled to see her attitude toward him, that's why Josh took her to go skiing together to make her happy and distract her upset. Caren just couldn't forgive his attitude toward Helen, she really jealous to her. That night they stayed at the hotel near the ski area, she saw Helen lingering to Josh again, she went back to the other side of the restaurant, she didn't want to see them together. She sat alone there and had hot chocolate, when she heard a man said to his people "You know that asian guy look, his name is Joshiro. I want you to kill him before tomorrow !" The other three people "Yes sir !" Caren was very shocked to hear it, she couldn't see their face since it's dark around her. She said to herself "No, Josh can't die he has to save my dad's company, I must save him !" She stood up and she looked around for Josh, when she saw he was walking away from the restaurant she ran as fast as she can to catch him up. She saw from a distant those three men were getting close to him, she ran fast then she hugged his back, it was about the same time when one of the man stabbed her. Actually the man wanted to stabbed Josh stomach, but Caren came and covered his body, so she took the stabbed on her hip instead of Josh. The man realized that he stabbed the wrong person and he got shock then the other two men tried to attack Josh, Josh was aware and he got them off easily, but since he saw Caren felt down unconscious he let those men ran away and save her "Caren wake up !" he poke her cheek. Josh got shock when he saw there were some bloods flew from Caren's body, he screamed "Please somebody call ambulance now !" he pressed her wound to stopped bleeding, but her blood just wouldn't stop. Finally an ambulance came he carried her body to get into the ambulance and they went to the nearest hospital, Josh looked very worried with her condition.
