Chapter 24：CHAPTER 24 : I KNOW YOU LOVE ME

Josh was waiting worriedly in front of the surgery room, it had been three hours but there weren't any news yet. Josh was exhausted and sleepy, he had slept for two hours in the bench, when the doctor got out from the surgery room "The patient was in good condition now, the surgery had been succeeded, you may wait for a while, she'll be deliver to the ward."

Josh :"Thank you doctor."

Josh was beside her all the way to her room, he asked them to take her to the VIP room. She's still unconscious, Josh sat beside her bed he patiently waited her regain consciousness. He cared her hair "I know you love me that much, but please don't hurt yourself anymore ! Don't worry I'll protect you well ! I love you Caren, please wake up soon, we haven't enjoyed our honeymoon." Josh couldn't sleep well all night, he felt so exhausted and he got sleep beside her finally.

The sun had came up now, Caren opened her eyes slowly "Where am I ? What happened ?" She couldn't move her hand because Josh held her hand tightly. Josh could sense her movement, he then woke up also "You've wake up ? How do you feel now ? Is it hurt somewhere ? Don't move too much, your wound had just got treated."

Caren :"Is it in the hospital ? Are you hurt Josh ?"

Josh :"No,I'm OK, you're the one got deeply hurt ! Please don't do such stupid things like that again in the future will you ! Don't worry I'll protect you well from now on."

Caren :"I was scared yesterday Josh when I heard someone wanted to harm you. I couldn't see their faces since it was too dark, but I heard they wanted to kill you !"

Josh :"I know you love me so much but I don't want you to sacrifice yourself like that again, let me be the one that protect you OK ? I love you Caren, I don't want to loose you never... !"

Josh kissed her forehead :"Do you want to drink some water ?"

Caren :"Yes please." Josh gave her a glass of water, she drank all of them, she was very thirsty.

Caren :"Thank you. I'm very relieve now that you're OK. I can't loose you Josh, you've promised me to restored my dad's company !"

Josh :"Don't worry I already have some plans with your dad's company ! You just rest assure now. You have to fully recover again. We still haven't finished our honeymoon, I want to have some children with you !"

Caren's got blushed, she turned her head to the other side, but she couldn't hide her smile. Josh saw her smiled, he couldn't bear his desire, he kissed her lips passionately. Caren got surprised she tried to get away from him.

Josh :"OK I won't tease you again, till you get recovered. Just wait for my revenge after you'll recover !"

Caren just silence but she tried so hard to hide her smile, she was very happy to know Josh affection toward her. She was very sure about his feeling and his faithfulness now. She slowly opened up her heart to him.

Josh was finishing pay the hospital bill that day, Caren could go home now after being treated for three days at the hospital. Josh had booked a hotel near the hospital for a week, he wanted to enjoy their moment to be together and Caren had to go back to see the doctor in a week. He didn't want Caren had any complication in the future that's why he obeyed the doctor's order. Caren got pampered a lot by Josh since she was sick.

Caren :"Josh, I'm bored just lay down on the bed all the time, I'm OK now."

Josh :"But you must have a rest a lot, you can't move a lot since your wound might reopen."

Caren :"Do you remember Josh, when I was young I like to draw ?"

Caren :"You still keep it ? I thought men never bother about simple thing like that."

Josh :"Because only you in my heart, that's why I keep everything that remind me of you !"

Caren :"I never thought you always love me even we separated for a long time, I believe there were some women chase after you !"

Josh :"You were right, but I never touched them. My heart only belongs to you !"

Caren got blushed she turned her head to the other way, Josh went to near her he held her chin and he kissed her lips. She enjoyed his kiss, her hands touching his head, it made Josh got tempted but he sober up and stop their kissing before he couldn't stop his desire for more, he knew she still unwell, he was afraid he would made her wound got worse.

Caren :"Josh please get me some paintings materials and tools, I don't want to get bored all the time."

Josh :"OK, I'll see what I can get for you."

Josh had ordered some porridge for Caren, now he left to find some paintings materials and he also asked some information about nice place to get relax with beautiful scenery. He thought bringing Caren to paint in there. He had worked with the travel agent to arrange their visit to that place, now he went back to see Caren with the paintings materials he got. Caren was very happy to see him back.

Josh :"Have you eat your breakfast ?"

Caren :"Yes I have, but I don't wanna eat another porridge, I feel like wanna throw up if I'll see it again."

Josh :"OK let's have something else later, what do you wanna eat ?"

Caren :"Anything as long as not porridge !"

Josh :"Now, let's get ready to see the mountain."

Caren :"Wow, nice ! Thank you Josh you really know what I want !"

They want to the countryside about an hour drive with the car he rent. Josh took Caren to have a sit and relax at the balcony of a restaurant. The place was quiet and the scenery very beautiful with the lake below and green hills surround it, Caren started to draw on the canvas that Josh just bought. Josh just walked around since he like hiking. He climbed the hills near the place until half day, now he was very exhausted. By the time he went back, Caren's painting was almost finished. The owner of the restaurant saw her painting and admired her work, Josh smiled to see her work "She's indeed very talented !"

They had their dinner at that restaurant before went back to the hotel.

Caren :"The food is nice in here, and it's just a perfect place for me to paint and relax here. Can we go back here tomorrow Josh ?"

Josh :"Sure, as you wish !"

They went back to that restaurant the next day, Caren was very excited with her painting now, while Josh just sitting around and reading some books till he got slept for few hours. They went back to the hotel in the afternoon. Josh had looked for another place for the other day so that Caren wouldn't get bored of the same place. They really enjoyed the time they had spent together that week. Caren had made two paintings while Josh had spent some times of his hobby of hiking. Caren went back to see the doctor to do some check up, the doctor said her wound was getting better and nothing to be worried about, but she couldn't do physical work to hard for three months. Josh took her back to their hometown by plane that day, he planned to accompany Caren for two months before he went back for traveling. In those two months Josh pampered her a lot, he did all the house work, but he told Caren to work together with him at the office, he wanted her to learn as much as she can about managing the company. He told her secretary Charlie to help her when he went traveling. Caren was sad to see Josh went traveling again for a month could be more. Actually Josh wanted to take Caren together but, she had to have a rest because of her wound.
