Chapter 20 - A Greeting From The Angel Of Death

David slowly exhales the delightful nicotine smoke from the cigarette stick into the air, sandwiches the cigarette between his index and middle fingers and then flicks lightly to knock the ash off the tip of the Marlboro brand of nicotine.

The gray skies that stretched out over the skyscrapers had been what David had been staring at for the past forty minutes as he sat leaning against the front hood of the Lamborghini Veneno he had just bought after his Aston Martin DB11 was destroyed because of his previous battle against Isaac Dominic's men.

He's waiting for someone.

David threw the nicotine sticks to the ground, extinguishing the burning coals on the bottom of his shoes as the roar of the exhaust from a motor that had an engine capacity of two hundred and fifty cubical centimeters echoed in the air.

A person on the motorbike took off her full-face helmet. More precisely a blonde haired woman who wore all black clothes. She flicked back her wavy hair and zipped her jacket down to chest level and got off her motorbike toward David.

From inside her jacket she took out a brown envelope and gave it to David.

"I never thought, the Demon Prince who rules the Underworld now needs my help."

The woman smiled crookedly. David ignored it and immediately opened the contents of the brown envelope.

The blonde haired woman leaned back next to David. "What's so interesting about those three great mafia generals?"

David still didn't answer, his eyes focused on the data from the three people who topped his list of targets for revenge.

"Isaac Dominic, now he's running the arms-trading business, his territory covers the whole West Coast. And as for his children, now they've been moved into a safe house within his territory." said the blonde woman who was now sandwiching the nicotine stick between her upper and lower lips.

The woman blew nicotine fumes from her respiratory tract into the air, "The other one is Benedict Rivaro. Recently there have been rumors that he has traveled to dozens of countries looking for the strongest people and recruiting them all. Now he has about twelve experts in distance combat. Three of them are former members of an elite international security organization who were sentenced to death for being war criminals. Benedict exempted them from the death penalty and made them subordinates in quite a brutal way. "

David listened to the long explanation of the blonde woman leaning next to him without responding to a single word.

"Do you remember the news about three prisons with the highest level of security in the world six months ago being infiltrated by an unidentified person? Benedict was the one who did it."

David brought out one last paper. There is no photo listed on it. Even the data presented is very little and seems ambiguous.

"The last one is Steve Stiffler. People call him the Angel of Death. The only man of highest achievement in the Underworld whose reputation stands on the same level as yours. Only, he's never been seen anywhere."

David continued to stare at the paper with that bit of information.

He was the one person who knew Steve Stiffler best.

Steve Stiffler, the only person who has the ability equal to David. Starting from the speed of thinking, analyzing conditions, strong mentality that can remain calm under pressure, to the ability to fight.

Perhaps even in the accuracy of the shot, Steve stood up to David's ability.

"But a few days ago, a conglomerate who was also an investor of the Stockholm Corporation lost his life with a hole in his forehead. Right between his eyes. There was no trace of a bullet because the bullet had penetrated the back of his head and shattered when it hit the hard wall behind him. Because of that, that bullet was shattered into pieces that could hardly be analyzed. "

"But, with a little bit of effort that made me ruffled my beautiful hair many times, I know where the bullet came from. Surely you can guess."

David, who had been ignoring the babbling of the blonde haired woman, now turned to look at her. The woman smiled broadly, "The bullet came from the CheyTac Intervention .408, your favorite weapon which has become an open secret for the mafia underworld."

David was now deep in thought.

So far, Steve has always used a different type of weapon, namely the Tactilite T2, a bolt-action sniper that has the same shooting accuracy as David's CheyTac. The difference is recoil and attack power.

David's CheyTac has a high enough recoil rate so it's more difficult to control when releasing bullets, but the attack power of CheyTac's spiral-shaped bullets makes it even more dangerous than Tactilite.

While Tactilite has a relatively low recoil rate for sniper rifle or sniper type weapons. With a low recoil level makes it easier for the user to aim at the target more accurately when releasing bullets. Even for targets moving at high speed, for example a person on a vehicle traveling sixty to one hundred and ten kilometers per hour.

But with a low recoil rate, its attack power is also slightly below David's CheyTac, even though both of them can take down enemies in one shot.

David understood the meaning of the murder of a Stockholm Corporation investor using the same weapon as his.

Not to mention that the person was killed with a bullet hole that was right between his eyeballs. Just like David used to do with his victims.

The same weapon, and the same killing method.

It was very clear that Steve had now emerged from the darkness and greeted David openly.

David still doesn't understand what the real purpose of Steve is starting to reveal himself. David knew that Steve would continue to be in the shadows until something really important happened and made him have to come out and reveal himself.

But what was something so important that an Angel of Death like Steve would appear himself, and even greet David so blatantly like that?

However, it actually made David smile very widely.

Of course, that way David does not have to be tired looking for his whereabouts which are very difficult to trace.

Even if Steve wanted to fight openly with David, in fact David was prepared for it a long time ago.

Fighting against the person who taught him how to wield a weapon? Why not?

"Your smile can always give me goosebumps, Brother David." said the blonde woman, making David turn his head.

David raised his hand and ruffled her hair lightly, making her chuckle.

Who is that woman?

Why did he call David 'Brother'?

And David didn't mind that at all. Even David was casual with her, as if they had been close for a long time.

Just who it was, the blonde haired woman who provided information to David about the top three people on David's list of targets for revenge, and was very relaxed with the person who the mafia in the Underworld highly respected.

Who is she?

No idea. What is clear is, David's mind is still overshadowed by Steve who has greeted him so openly like that.

Steve Stiffler, the Angel of Death who is always moving in the shadows of darkness has now appeared.

And of course, the Demon Prince will welcome him warmly.

Let's see, who will dominate more in 'Hell', the Angel of Death, or the Demon Prince.
