Chapter 72 - A Kind Of Animal's Shit That God Accidentally Gave It A Life

Elly pressed her feet, making the person's face even more pushed toward the bar table. "Your mouth is still rotten like fried bananas left under the table for a week. If you don't go now, I'll make your face worse than Angeline's cooking."

Angeline rounded her eyes perfectly and glared at Elly, "What did you say?!"

"It is nothing." Elly chuckled, "Just kidding. Don't worry."

"Ouuhhh ... Your words are still so sharp, that my heart is pierced by your love so deep."

Elly also ran out of patience. "Fuck this shit!" said Elly who immediately stiffened her foot on the face of the narcissistic stranger who was bothering Angeline until his head seemed to be embedded on the bar table. But something unexpected happened, making Angeline get out of her seat and take a few steps away.

The stranger removed Elly's feet from his face and pushed Elly backward and made her take a few steps back. Quickly the man jumped up and threw a circular kick that was right on Elly's face, and a second later blood flowed from the corner of her lips.

Angeline was still trying to understand the events that were happening before her eyes. From the style of talking that person with Elly, it looks like they already know each other.

Who exactly is that guy?

Elly smiled after licking the blood on the corner of her lip which was cripple bastard."

Angeline was speechless. Looks like the two of them will have a very fierce battle.

***

Elly was cornered even though she tried her best. She had shown all the defensive moves that Elly had taught Angeline, but she still couldn't block every attack her opponent had launched.

Elly's opponent this time was not just anyone. He was the one who was teasing Angeline, but unexpectedly, from his appearance that didn't look so strong and without showing the slightest intimidating aura, he could have cornered Elly this far.

The man's name is Romeo De Tavarel. The narcissistic guy who annoyed Angeline just a moment ago. And even more surprising, Elly told the true identity of the person who was bothering her before they climbed into the ring to fight.

Romeo is Elly's ex-fiancé.

Somehow, but the two people with opposite personalities were indeed lovers in the past. But seeing Romeo's character like that, made Angeline feel sorry for Elly.

But things from the past don't seem to need to be brought up again, because the most important thing now is how Elly can survive the onslaught of the onslaught of Romeo, his ex-fiancé who is super narcissistic but also super good at hand to hand combat.

Baaam! ...

Elly sprawled on the floor, completely losing her senses. Romeo who saw that immediately took care of Elly skillfully, did everything needed very quickly and took care of her until Elly regained consciousness.

Angeline was already beside Elly. And when Elly came to her senses, instead of breathing a sigh of relief, Angeline punched Romeo's jaw from the side as hard as she could.

"Hey, that hurts! What does it mean to hit me suddenly like that?" Romeo protested, staring in confusion at Angeline.

Angeline met Romeo's gaze with an expression of displeasure. The girl was really angry because Romeo had to hit Elly so hard that Elly fell unconscious. Even though after that Romeo was completely responsible for the action, but the fact that Elly was knocked out could not be tolerated by Angeline.

Angeline understands that there is no gender difference in unofficial hand-to-hand combat like this, but still, Angeline already thinks of Elly as her sister, so she will defend those close to her no matter what.

Maybe if Angeline's past self had experienced this, she could only cry. However, since marrying David plus Elly's hard training, Angeline seems to have many times the courage compared to her past self.

Angeline ignored Romeo's gaze and turned her gaze to Elly. "Are you okay?"

Elly got up slowly, holding her forehead. Of course she must still feel dizzy after losing consciousness due to the crushing blow she received from Romeo.

Romeo approached, "How do you feel?"

Angeline pushed Romeo's shoulder as hard as she could. "Get away, I hate people like you!"

Romeo stretched out his hand and grabbed Angeline by the collar, choking Angeline. But instead of struggling in pain because the circulation of air around her neck became obstructed by the choke from the collar of her shirt, Angeline looked into Romeo's eyes fiercely.

"What right do you have to tell me to stay away from Elly?" Romeo asked Angeline, still gripping the collar of Angeline's shirt hard.

"I have all the right!" replied Angeline, who raised her voice even though she was still choking. "I have all the right to tell you to stay away from Elly. If you can't take it, then we can make it a problem right now!"

Romeo released his grip on the collar of Angeline's shirt and smiled broadly. "Oh, so you also want to fight with me? Too bad, I thought an angel as beautiful as you would be cute and let this handsome Romeo spoil you to heaven, but it turns out you did not live up to my expectations."

"No more pleasantries. If you don't get out of here soon, I won't hold back." replied Angeline, without showing the slightest bit of fear.

A hand gripped Angeline's arm. Elly, she kept Angeline from going any further than this. Angeline also turned to Elly, while Elly just shook her head softly, hinting like forbidding Angeline to make a fuss about this more than she had done.

Angeline looked back at Elly, "But I can't accept what he did to you."

The cheers of the bar visitors made Angeline set her sights on the person in the middle of the ring. No one realized since when Romeo was there. The man took off the clothes that covered his upper body and made a gesture as if he were challenging Angeline to climb into the ring and have a fight with him. His attitude really underestimated Angeline. Angeline came to understand why Elly's relationship with him did not end well.

Romeo is just a figure of trash who happens to be shaped like a human who cannot appreciate women. More precisely, Angeline considers Romeo a kind of animal's shit that God accidentally gave it a life so it can live and walk like humans in general. Even so, he was still some kind of animal's shit. Like actual shit that came from animal's ass-hole.

Angeline stood up and walked toward the ring. She really willing to accept Romeo's challenge. But another hand grabbed Angeline's arm and stopped her. "Elly, I told you not to stop me! I'm really sick of--"

Angeline's words stopped when she saw who was standing in front of her.

A miracle really appeared before her eyes.

David?

Yep, the one and only, David Stockholm.

The man she missed was now standing before her eyes.

That person really is David, her beloved husband.

"David? How did you--"

David covered Angel's mouth with his lips, making her unable to finish the sentence she wanted to say.

After the kiss was released, David gently stroked the top of Angeline's head. "I kept trying to contact you as soon as I arrived at the airport, but your number was not active. Elly did not pick up my calls either. Once I found out your location after tracking Elly's cellphone which luckily was active, I immediately rushed over here. Sorry to make you wait so long."

"Hey, that rude angel over there! Who is that? Is he your boyfriend? Maybe you want to let your lover who replaced you to face me? Come on, I'm getting bored here!"

David turned to the source of the sound.

"Come on, you won't make me wait forev ... er ..."

Badhummppp ...

The annoying words from Romeo's mouth immediately stopped. For reasons that are not yet clear, the narcissistic man who disrespected Angeline before became froze in silence.

David turned his gaze back to Angeline. "Who is that talkative bastard?"

"He's such an annoying person. He beat Elly unconscious after bothering me before ... Oh wait a minute ... No, he didn't."

"Is he bothering you?" asked David to confirm what Angeline was trying to cover up.

Angeline tried to lie, "No ... He did'nt bother me, he just--"

"He just what?"

"He annoyed Angeline, that's why I fought him. But I lost badly, and now he is challenging Angeline to fight with him. Even looks down on Angeline."

Angeline was shocked because someone suddenly answered David's question. Angeline turned around, and Elly, the woman was already behind Angeline.

"No, it's not like that. He ..." Angeline was still trying to lie, but David had already stepped into the ring.

In Angeline's mind, she just didn't want David to get into trouble. Angeline knew best what David was going to do once David found out that someone was bothering her.

Angeline pulled on Elly's shirt, "Please stop him!"

"Me? Isn't the one who supposed to stop David is you, his wife? What's there to be afraid of anyway? Do you think David will lose to that rotten bastard?"

"That's not what I meant! Never mind, forget it. If you really want to help me, call the ambulance now."

Elly chuckled. "Haha, I understand what you mean. Wait, I'll take my cell phone first."

David had entered the ring that resembled a metal cage and closed the door from the inside. David took off his jacket and tied it on the latch of the metal door from the inside so that no one could get in or out.

Romeo's body was shaking violently, his face turned as white as a bowl of stale porridge that had been put in a refrigerator.

One thing is for sure, Romeo knows who David really is. And David also realizes that somehow, Romeo knows his identity.

"I heard that you bullied my wife earlier?"

Romeo's neck seemed to be choking on something. "W-wife? So she ... is that woman na-named Angeline?"

David took out a pack of cigarettes and burned a stick on his lips. "I'm giving you the opportunity to attack me until my cigarette burns out."

Romeo turns and jumps, reaches the top of the rim and tries to escape, but David grabs his leg, sending him crashing hard onto the floor. David sat on Romeo's body and exhaled cigarette smoke from his breath. And the next thing that happened made everyone watching was horrified.

David burns Romeo's left eye with his cigarette flame mercilessly. Romeo could only scream in pain while begging David for forgiveness. Elly who saw that immediately turned Angeline's body and hugged her tightly. Somehow Elly didn't want Angeline to see this sadistic action.

"Arrggghhhh! ... I'm sorry, I was wrong! I didn't mean to bully the Demon Prince's wife!"

David looked around. With Romeo shouting his nickname in the Underworld, the people at the bar showed puzzled expressions. David immediately got out of the ring leaving Romeo and grabbed Angeline's hand, taking her away.

And sure enough. Moments after David, Angeline and Elly left the bar, which looked more like a nightclub, the atmosphere immediately turned chaotic. The nickname of the Demon Prince is familiar among people who like to spend time in the night world, especially people who like to stop by nightclubs that provide such illegal hand-to-hand combat like that place.

Maybe things were almost getting out of hand, but all Angeline could think about was feeling happy that David was back.
