98 Road trip4

They arrive at Astila's home in the mountains just outside of Knoxville. His home is large but not as many rooms as their home in Harpers Ferry. His home is a log cabin style with a large porch. Aisling is in love with it. The air is cool and crisp a fresh blanket of snow is on the ground. Astila unlocks the door for everyone but doesn't let anyone in. Turning to Aisling he picks her up and carries her across the threshold. They all cheer in approval. Inside the house is a large central room. With a staircase to the rooms above. The down stairs has only four rooms. Kitchen ,dinning room bathroom and the great room. Upstairs has four bedrooms and two baths. It's a mixture of wood and stone. The living room has a large stone fireplace that heats the down stairs. Inola gets a fire going to warm the house. Salali shows everyone to their rooms. Aisling goes to the kitchen to see what they will need to get from the store. The kitchen is huge she loves it plenty of space for a large family meal. Astila comes up from behind and holds her close.

"So what do you think of your second home?" She turns around to face him. Kissing him playfully.

"I don't know I haven't seen all of it yet. " he smiles and takes her hand to give her the grand tour.

The first room he shows her is their room . It's sparse but very pretty . The room is all wood with a small stone fireplace. There is a king size bed and a large bathroom and walk in closet. She looks at it and is already thinking what she would like to put in here. She walks around touching the bed taking in his big it is. Looking at him she smiles laying in the bed patting the space beside her.

Astila needs no more of an invitation than that. He crosses the room to lay beside her.

"You must be tired driving by yourself. I got to sleep the entire way . Why don't you lay down and take a nap. Let me just be close to you while you sleep. " she kisses his forehead and runs her fingers through his hair. Astila closes his eyes enjoying just having her close to him. He drifts off to sleep . The two of them stay that way for several hours Aisling just watching him. She was so content she didn't even feel the chill in the air.

While Aisling and Astila were resting everyone else was getting settled. Moll pulled Sam aside to see what happened when Dude slept.

"Truthfully I don't know if it worked or not . He has been so quiet that I can't read him at all. " Moll looks distressed wondering if he is just that cold hearted. Well time will tell she guesses. Inola comes over and tells her that he is almost ready to go to his house. He lets her know that John is going to stay with them while Debra's family are staying in the Rv. Steve and Jin along with Dude will be staying with Astila and Aisling. Yona gets there things ready and puts them in his car. He agrees to take them by his uncle's house. Everyone gets settled while the couple are resting . Salali and Debra make a grocery store run so they will have what they need. They decide to get take out do no one needs to cook that night. On the way back Salali asks Debra a few things.

"I've never asked you before but what was Aisling like as a kid?"

Debra thinks about it for a few moments.

"I don't know she was quiet and kept to herself. I never really thought about it." He uncaring attitude makes Salali wonder if Debra is even really sorry to Aisling or not. She decides not to question her anymore about it. When they get back Salali texts Moll.

"Is the spell still active in the Rv ?"

"Yes ,oh no I totally forgot to remove it. Why?" Moll is wondering if Dude needs another dose.

"I don't think Debra is truly sorry. When I asked her today about what kind of child Aisling was . She acted like it wasn't important and she didn't really know. Maybe we should put her in the hot seat tonight , but how?" Salali wants Debra to really be sorry not just because she is out of money.

"When we get back for dinner I will talk to Sam and see what he thinks. Don't worry we got this . These brats are going to learn some manners one way or another."

Later that evening after dinner Moll and Sam go outside to chat.

"Sam do you think Debra is really sorry or us just upset over the money?" Sam looks at her with a shameful face.

"Truthfully I think it's because of the money. I know I should not think badly of my wife . I just can't get passed the feeling , she is just hoping that Aisling forgiving her will mean nothing changes. " Moll places her hand on his shoulder and smiles at him.

"What do you think of Debra sleeping in that chair tonight . The spell is still active and that chair will lay back like a bed. How about it ?" Sam thinks for a few minutes and he agrees . He hates doing this but he wants his wife to be the person he believes she is. The person he has watched over the last few months is not who he fell in love with. So with that they figure out a way for Sam to need the back room to himself. He grins at her and pretends to throw his back out while getting something for the twins. Knowing how much pain it will cause for the slightest movement Debra agrees to sleep in the small chair bed.
