168 Aisling buys a house

Over the last few weeks Aisling has thought about Audis she know Eva isn't going to let her Dad comeback . So she has the house appraised and calls Audis. 

"Uncle Audis I want to buy your house. I know you said you wanted to give it as a gift. But....." before she can finish he interrupts her. 

"My children may resent it being just given away. I know they are not like you they think of the bottom line. I don't know where they got it from but truth is truth. I will let you buy it on a few conditions."She wonders what that will be. 

"I don't want to put anything in storage you have to buy it as it is furnished. Eva is planning to come and pick up the boxes that Jin and the others have been packing. Truthfully I don't even want those things. I would like all the clothing to be donated. The jewelry the kids can have what they want and if there are any pieces you and the others may like you can have. There is a black lacquer box in the closet that is yours. Get it before Eva comes so there is no arguments. I will set the price not a realtor. The kids are going to just have to deal with it. I'm in my right mind and I'm not dead yet.So they have no say in the matter . I would like you to go through the photo albums and make copies of any photographs you want. Thank you for what you did for me when Norma passed. I know it wasn't easy. " Aisling thinks to herself that she is going to miss not having him here when the babies come. Tears well up in her eyes at the thought. 

" I will be home June twenty third. It's Norma and my anniversary and I will be staying till after the twins are born. She would be very angry if I was not there for the birth. We can finalize everything then. That way I can get the kids used to the idea of what is happening." Aisling smiles to herself she often wondered if her aunt and uncle were gifted. They always seemed to know what she is thinking. 

"Can I ask for a favor then?" Aisling broaches the subject of Winona.

"It seems that Winona has a very violent ex husband and as you know Aunt Norma was working on getting her set up with Marshal. Well he asked me to see if she could rent the house and open a practice out of it. That way they could get to know each other better. I know you had already suggested giveing the house to him or Remi but I know that when your time comes that the kids may try to take it away. Truthfully that is why I want to buy it. That way it can be as you want and they cannot complain that we took advantage." Aisling doesn't like saying bad things about others but her cousins didn't live close and they grew to be more like their spouses. So their values had changed over time. 

Audis is quiet on the other side of the line and he then tells her. 

marshal is getting the bar ready for opening the next day when he realized that Remi was right having the silk and tulles in different areas with the lights gives the bar a more upscale look. He figures he will talk to Aisling about doing a new decor. As if she was reading his mind his phone rings and it's Aisling. 

"Hey I was just about to call you." She chuckles into the phone . 

"yeah well I beat you to it. I wanted to let you know I spoke to Uncle Audis and he is ok with Winona living in his house. He even said he would call the hospital to get her on staff. I am going to buy it from him but he says it might be better for the kids to think Winona is the one Renting and later buying it. He doesn't want any problems with them. He said he will set the price and let me know in June when he comes home. Everything is staying except the boxes that Jin has been packing for him. So she will not need to worry about furniture or anything since the house is already complete. Her and Brayden just need to move in. " Marshal grins at the way Aisling seemed to know what he wanted to do even before he said anything. 

"So what did you want to talk to me about?" She asks him 

"How did you like the decor from the party yesterday. Remi and Salali think that the satin and tulles made the bar look more romantic. To me it looked like a harem from an old movie. Though it seemed to offset the dark woods nicely. " Aisling got the same impression of the bar yesterday that it was very soft and romantic. She proposed a solution. 

"why don't we ask the customers what they think. We can do different decor for several weeks and let them vote and then we can chose from their votes. We can do a new theme each week and they can give us their feed back. Since it was Remi's and Salali idea they can do the work trying out the different themes. We never really did anything since the bar had such great dark wood everywhere. " 

Marshal thinks on it for a second and agrees . He told her

"You get the privilege of telling them what we decided.Dont say anything to Winona yet not until the job at the hospital is secure. I don't want her to think we are giving her a handout or anything. After that then we can take her to see the house. " they say their good byes and he decides to go design the voting ballots for the decor contest. This is going to be a lot of work but it's also going to be fun. Hopefully Winona will enjoy helping out so he came see her more. 

Aisling states at the lake enjoying the quiet and not really ready to head back to the house. She hears a crow call. Looking around for it but not finding it. She hears it again and this time it's in the tree by the lake . She whistles at it . The crow turns to look right at her. In seconds the crow flies towards her and shifts into a woman. Aisling bows her head in respect . 

"Raise my child come walk with me." Morrigan reaches out her hand to her. 

Aisling takes her hand and walks with the Goddess. 

"Is there something you need of me ?" She asks her. 

"No my child not this time. I know you are feeling out of sorts over losing your Aunt. I wanted to just come and give you comfort. You know she crossed over peacefully and since she was a good and kind soul . She will be rewarded for it. She asked that we watch over her children and her family. ." Aisling smiles and thanks the goddess. 

"Did she say anything else? We tried to do things as she wanted . Though a few of them went against traditional customs. " peaking at her wondering if she will be scolded for the two parties before the thirty day mark. 

"Yes you did but we forgive you since it was for the sake of the one that passed. It will give her strength to get her through the aerial realms. She did ask that on the fortieth day memorial that you make her a large feast. I don't think it will be much of a problem since it will fall during the spring equinox and the Passover celebrations." Aisling smiles and replies 

"Not  a problem the one thing she loved was a good party. Do you mind if I ask something?" She hesitates since normally she doesn't like to know the future. 

"of course child ,what is it?" Morrigan already knows what she wants to ask but will let her do the asking. 

" How long will we have Uncle Audis for? I'm worried that he is going to follow soon out of loneliness." Morrigan chuckles at her and tells her

"Your uncle was given two loves in his life and has had to say goodbye to both. I will not say exactly how long you will have him for. I will say that he will be around until Dude gets married. So when they Scandrel of a brother finds the woman he wants to marry start preparing for it. " they have walked into the deep woods almost to the cliff over looking the river. It's been years since Aisling has been This far into the woods. Morrigan waves her hand and a opening in the woods there is the house on the other side

"My child it's getting dark to dark for you to walk back go now through here . Just know we are always close. Enjoy the quiet time now for soon you will have two little ones to deal with. " hugging Morrigan Aisling steps through the doorway and is back at the edge of the woods by the house.
