167 Gender reveal 2

After all the commotion was over things got back on track. Remi texted Jin to let her know they were five minutes away. Jin gets Maureen and Onacona ready to head over to the party. Yona tells Astila to stop by the bar on the way home he has something for Marshal. 

Astila nods and instead of turning up the mountain he heads for the bar. Moll lets everyone know they are almost here. Debra and Sam made sure that the food was ready . All the ladies were dressed in the costumes that Jin provided . There were special ones for the ones to arrive to wear. When they arrive at the bar  Onacona is turning in as well. They all greet each other and head inside. When they walk in the bar is dark. Yona yells out for Marshal it's the signal for everyone to throw confetti and yell surprise . The two couples were very surprised that everyone did something so sweet. 

they all gather around and welcome Yona home as well as greet the two expecting mothers. Aisling heart swells up with such love for her family she really needed this. The sadness over aunt Norma's passing has just been overwhelming . He heart has ached so much recently that she has not even been able to bring herself to smile. Today however her smile is contagious with all of the warm wishes and love. She looks around at all that they did to make this day special. Her and Maureen gasp at how beautiful and festive the bar looks. Remi teases Marshal that a few of the decorations he should keep. The ladies change into the Hanfu dresses that Jin brought for them. Aisling hugs and Jin and asks her.

"Please forgive us for opening your chest and taking your things. I had a lady in Atlantic City check it for tags. She was very impressed with it. I never knew you were a designer these are so beautiful."

jin smiles at her and lets her know .

"it's ok, I had forgotten about them truthfully until Moll found the bolts of material in the cubby of the attic. I haven't done much since being married so how could you have known. "

They walk around greeting everyone and seeing how much was done

The two cakes one is a yellow duckie in a bubble bath and the other is a baby on clouds . They even have special chairs for her and Maureen to sit in. Aisling goes to sit next to Maureen because Salali has announced the start of the games.

"Now the games are partner games so partner up. The first game is the men have to feed a baby. The baby being a their partner and the men are blind folded. The baby has to give directions to their partners without moving their head to reach the spoon. " she explains 

Salali announces

" Maureen and Onacona are the winners. Next we are going to time the parents dressing the baby. The goal is to dress a slippery baby without dropping it who ever has the most clothes on in thirty seconds wins."

Remi wasn't allowed to play because she was a mom. So she timed it while Winona recorded it. It was the girls against the guys. To make things interesting Salali oiled the baby dolls so that they would be slippery almost like a moving baby. This was funnier than the feeding. They kept dropping the babies. Marshal won his baby was diapered and at least had a shirt on which was better than anyone else's. Debra calls out of the kitchen to let them know that dinner was ready. So everyone heads for the buffet table. Some items were made in the shapes of baby items. The hot dogs had been baked with dough shaped around them to look like rattles. Meat loaf was shaped like a baby bottle. Everyone laughed at how things were prepared saying how sweet it was. John said the blessing and everyone began to eat. After dinner there were a few more games then it came time to cut the cakes. The ducky cake was Maureen's. She and Onacona cut into it and the center was blue. They were having a boy. Aisling and Astila cut the baby cake and it was pink the twins were girls. Everyone cheered and began bringing them gifts for the babies. Auntie Jin made darling little dresses from the silks in the attic for Aisling and she made silk quilts for Maureen. Salali made swaddling clothes for all of the babies as well as some blankets . Debra gave both of them a crocheted blanket for each child. Aisling was brought to tears when she was given a cedar box from Uncle Audis and Aunt Norma . Inside was two hand made photo albums with a letter. She waited for Maureen to open hers. Inside was the same . They both opened their letters and they said the same. 

"May Gods gifts be blessed beyond measure and the love overflowing. Love Audis and Norma." 

hugging each other they both began to cry. Astila and Onacona get to open the next round of gifts. Yona brought them baby carriers from Japan. John and his wife pushed in two baby strollers filled with diapers and wipes. By the time the gifts were completed it was early evening. Aisling and Maureen thank everyone for their generosity and love. They give special thanks to Debra Moll Winona Remi and Salali for all of their hard work. Giving Marshal a hug Aisling whispers in his ear. 

"thank you for today, I hope I can return the favor soon." Winking at him and nodding towards Winona. He understands that his affection for the woman had not gone unnoticed by the family. Yona hands him the box he asked for him to get in a Japan as he walks out. 

Marshal asks Winona if she can wait a moment that he needs to talk to Brayden. Brayden goes with Marshal to the back. 

"I want to ask your permission to date your mom. I know we haven't known each other long but I like her a lot and I hope she likes me. Since she is a mom and you are important to her I need to ask if it's ok ?"  Marshal holds his breath waiting for the boys response. 

Brayden thinks about it and then asks him. 

"will you cuss or hit my mom?" Marshal looks at him. 

" I cannot promise that if your mom and I argue that I will not cuss but I can promise that I will never hit her. Men are not men if they hit a woman. They are cowards if they do." The boy nods he can except that . 

"will you expect her to lock me away when you want her to yourself?" 

Marshal's heart does a flip in his chest. What exactly had that man done to them. He looks Brayden in the eye with a very stern tone.

"I can promise you that when I want alone time with your mom. That I will send you to one of the cousins houses to play. Wait till you are asleep or take your mom out on a date. You are a part of your mom I won't ask you to leave her and if you are ever in need of punishing. I will tell you ahead of time what your punishment will be. " 

Brayden nods and hugs Marshal. 

"Then you can date my mom but only if you get my game." Marshal hands him the box Yona gave him. 

"Fresh from Japan the newest game hasn't even been released yet. You can thank Yona for picking it up for me. " Brayden lets out a whoop and runs to tell his mom. 

Winona is smiling at her son's excitement and thanks Marshal. 

"That's my thank you to him. He just gave me his blessing to date you so I asked Yona for a bribe. So how about it, will you go out with me. I like you a lot and it saddens me to think of you going away. If you don't want to live at Aisling's I'm sure Remi has an empty apartment. I could ask Aisling how much Audis's house is renting for . You could start up a practice and work out of his house. He already told her that any of us could use it if we needed. I'm sure if she talked to him he would let you and Brayden move in and you could get a job at the hospital and work from the house." Marshal is hopeful that she will agree. 

Winona looks at his pleading eyes and lets him know. 

" I will think about it. I have a few things as you saw earlier today to take care of. I will talk to Astila and Aisling about my options in the next few days. I need to go slow for not just my sake but for Brayden's as well. " with that she and Brayden head home to Aisling's. Marshal looks up at the sky saying a little prayer.

"Norma if your still watching over me help me win her heart. "  he sighs and locks up the bar to head home
