107 Chapter 107: Generous Gif

Usui picked on his food as he sat there quietly not engaging in their talk. Zelal nudged his brother under the table, only for him to be ignored. He rolled his eyes as he placed some meat slices on his plate.

Usui raised his eyebrow at him which was ignored by Zelal. He shook his head as he picked the meat and stuffed it into his mouth. He peeked at Hazel just in time to see Jinha place some dumplings on her plate.

At that instant, he lost his appetite and placed down his fork.

Hazel looked down on her plate for a moment before she raised her eyes to meet the smiling Jinha.

Jinha gestured the food with his eyes and said, "Here you go, your favorite dumplings. Since it's your favorite, you can have my share too."

Upon seeing her smile widely, Jinha smiled as he turned around to eat when he saw a pair of hands place something on his plate. He raised his eyebrow when he saw his favorite braised pork ribs on his plate. He looked at her and saw her eyes sparkling in delight, "You can have my share too."

Jinha chuckled as he nodded and devoured the ribs on his plate. Usui's face twisted into an ugly expression as he watched the couple shove dogfood into his face.

'Tch, Were they always this cringy? Why didn't I find them annoying before?'

Usui gripped his fork tightly when he saw how happy she looked.

'At least she doesn't look distressed, unlike the times she's with me.'

He mocked himself for being confident that he could make her fall in love with him. He should have noticed the signs earlier when she used to be indifferent to him and straightly rejecting him and avoiding him. And, Jinha's protectiveness and smug looks.

His heart ached to watch them, so he turned his head away and met Adrian's eyes who was observing him silently for quite a while.

Usui knitted his brows as he stared at him. Silently, Adrian looked at Hazel and then at him again. Usui curled his lips into a mocking smile as he snorted and looked down at his plate.

He should have just stayed in his room and eat food from the dormitory. Just why didn't he listen to Zelal?

Usui groaned inside and scolded himself for being an idiot.

Hazel had a smile on her face when she saw Adrian placing foods that Adrianna was eyeing. She chuckled when she saw Adrianna's face brighten upon seeing the food on her plate.

She glanced at her brother with a huge smile on her face while Adrian adorned a doting smile on his face as he rubbed her head fondly.

"You guys are so cute."

The siblings turned towards Hazel who was chuckling softly. Adrianna grinned as she hugged her brother's arm and proclaimed, "I love my brother"

"Ah!"

Hazel turned towards Adrian who exclaimed suddenly. He leaned forward with his hand on the table as he asked, "I forgot to ask you about those intruders. What happened to them?"

Hazel smirked as she swirled the wine in her glass and said, "We have sent them back after giving them a good time here."

...

Silver Mages Academy.

"Professor"

Richard glanced up from the huge piles of paper on the table. He had a displeased expression on his face from being disturbed.

He glared at his anxious assistant who looked like he was running away from the devil. He frowned as he asked, "What is it? Don't you know that I hate it when people disturb me from my work?"

The assistant panted and waited for a moment to calm down. But upon hearing Richard's words, his lips twitched.

'Work? All you do is support that rogue. What work do you have left when it is shoved to my face at the end of the day?'

The assistant composed his face as he informed, "There is a package addressed to our principal outside."

Richard knitted his brows and looked at him.

"So? Don't you know the drill? Just keep it in his room, why inform me?"

The assistant patiently said with his head bowed, "I think you need to take a look at it."

Richard squinted his eyes at his assistant who had his head lowered. He pursed his lips as he understood the underlying message behind those words. He stood up and made his way out of his room.

His face darkened by each second when he saw the crowd gathering in front of the entrance. He saw the students stare at whatever they were seeing in a trance. He pushed his way through the crowd when they refused to make way for him.

As he reached the front, he saw ten sacks lying on the ground. A faint foul stench was in the air that Richard frowned hard. He approached a sack and tugged on the rope around it.

Upon a slight tug, the sack became undone, and instantly the foul stench emerged in full swing at his face. He dropped the sack on the floor as he staggered back with a hand covering his nose.

He screamed in anger, "What the hell is this?"

He looked down at the ten people who he had sent to make the Royal Mages suffer, lie on the ground unconscious. He could see several bruises on their faces. He pressed his nose when he saw those people were stuffed along with garbage.

The assistant gulped as he moved closer to Richard and gave him the letter which came along with it, shakily.

"Sorry, we forgot to send the remaining along with the first batch. I think this is all we have for now unless you decide to send another batch. Haha..have fun!

Heroes Council"

Richard crumbled the paper into shreds as he screamed exasperatedly into thin air.

.....

"They would surely appreciate the time we used to prepare their gift. They can't be heartless, right?"

Everyone chuckled at her words. Ren commented, "Sure... they must be so happy with your generous gift."

Hazel laughed, "They should know better than to target us."

Adrian nodded his head impressed at how she took care of things. He placed his steak on her plate and saw her pause while munching the food.

Hazel looked at him surprisedly to which he said, "I saw you eyeing it."

Hazel scratched her nose in embarrassment while Jinha burst out laughing, "Little fool, shouldn't you control that stomach of yours? Or should we just group you with the gluttons?"

She glared at him pointedly making Jinha control his outburst.

Hazel turned away from him as she coughed and elegantly wiped her mouth. She smiled at Adrian and said, "Thank you."

Suddenly she diverted, "So let's get down to you guys. We still don't know from where you guys are from."

Adrianna widened her eyes as she blurted, "Oops! we forgot to introduce as we were thrilled to meet you."

"I'm the second princess of Claudia."

Adrian nodded his head as he said, "I'm the Crown Prince of Claudia."

Zeno raised his eyebrows as he said, "First prince and second Princess? You guys sure took a long trip just to meet her."

Adrian straightened his back as he said, " We are not here to harm you if that's what you are suggesting."

He looked at Hazel and said, " I think you already know why we are here. Can you help me?"

Hazel put down her fork and looked at him seriously, "I'm curious though. How did you guys come to know about me?"

Adrianna chirped in, "We heard from principal Vernon. He had visited us when we requested his help. He is the one who recommended you to us."

Hazel nodded her head as she said, "Come to the academy and let me have a look at your body."

A smile made a way through to his face as he said gratefully, "Thank you."

Jinha twirled his fork on his noodles as he said, "What else did you come here for?"

Adrian scratched his chin in embarrassment as he said, "Ah, well... we came here intending to check something out."

This time Liz asked skeptically, "Check what?"

Before he could explain, a noise attracted everyone towards the shop's entrance. They sighed when they saw Loki standing by the shop and looking around. When his gaze fell on their table, he started walking towards them ignoring the admiring gazes.

He raised his eyebrows when he noticed two unfamiliar people among them.

Ren introduced them to which Loki nodded his head and took his seat.

Liz asked curiously, "Where did you run off too earlier?"

Loki glanced at Usui who turned his head away from him.

"I was dealing with something."

Liz narrowed her eyes as she said, "Oh!"

Loki asked, "What were you guys talking about?"

"Oh that-"

They were interrupted again from the adjacent table.

"Hear...hear.. did you guys hear the news about the town some distance away?"

"Yes.. it was tragic. I heard there were no survivors and the people vanished without a trace."

"Yes, the incident made everyone chaotic. There wasn't even a hint of struggle."

"Yes, but the buildings were destroyed as if a wave of monsters slammed into the buildings. The entire place had black marks all over the area."

Hazel and the thunder squad members frowned upon hearing this news. Black marks? vanished without a trace?

Zeno murmured, "Black marks? Are they referring to the reapers?"

Hazel squinted her eyes when she remembered their last encounter. If what she thought was right, then the demons have begun to start attacking.

"And that is another reason why we are here. We want to know more about demons."
