106 Chapter 106: Forgotten meeting

But now, finally, they had the chance to experience the restaurant. After all, Ace of Diamonds was known to be the best restaurant here with it being busy every night.

Once they entered, they couldn't help but be surprised by how the inside vastly differed from the outside as noise scorched their ears. It was the same as the last time they came here. The restaurant was bustling with people that they had a hard time finding a free table.

Usui glanced around looking for one and frowned when he saw at least every table had one or two people. He pursed his lips thinking that he has to come another day when he felt a persistent tug by his sleeve.

"I guess, we have to come -"

Usui stopped his words when he turned to look at Zelal who was happily staring in one direction. He knitted his brows when he saw him waving in a direction exaggeratedly.

Usui followed his gaze only to be angered. He should have just ignored his brother and left. In the corner was a huge table capable of hosting a large number of people. And, by now the table was half-filled with the members of Heroes Council occupying the seats.

Usui pursed his lips when he saw Hazel sitting beside Jinha oblivious of her surroundings as she went through the menu.

Jinha waved and shouted, "Come over, we have enough space for you guys."

Usui wanted to refuse and started to say, "It's fine, we will come -"

He wasn't able to continue when he felt a strong gaze from beside him. He clenched his hand as he closed his eyes, chanting in his mind to remain calm.

Usui peeked at him and saw Zelal pout at him. His eyes desperately asking him to stay.

Usui sagged his shoulders as he sighed. Zelal's face instantly brightened as he took up the task to push Usui towards their table. Usui rolled his eyes as he allowed his brother to push him towards them. He couldn't help but curse his idiot brother who had his eyes focusing on Liz solely.

Hazel looked up from the menu when she had heard Jinha shout. She was stunned to see him here but quickly composed herself. She looked at Jinha who was smirking at her making her lips twitch.

Usui had seen her reaction but pretended like he didn't see her. But from the corner of his eyes, he was observing her movements. His hands tightened into a fist when he saw her pinch Jinha secretly.

Jinha moved closer to Hazel and whispered something in her ears making her chuckle and shake her head affectionately at him. His eyes saw the love for him hidden behind those emerald eyes.

Yet again, she was proving what she said was true.

Usui clenched his jaw tight as he flopped on a seat opposite to Hazel. But he couldn't quite digest the fact that they sat directly opposite him that he turned to his brother and asked.

"Can you switch seats?"

Hazel heard his words clearly over the noise as she was paying him attention from the start. She knew she shouldn't be sad as she was the one who made this happen. But still, it seems like her heart doesn't listen to her now as it started to hurt.

Hearing his brother, Zelal slowly turned to him like a robot and looked at him dumbfoundedly.

Zelal looked aggrieved as he stared at Usui and asked silently, 'Brother, do you have to spoil my date? Can't you see who I am sitting next to?'

Usui frowned when he saw his brother stare at him blankly. He tilted his head and saw the person sitting beside him.

He couldn't help but grind his teeth as he cursed, 'This idiot...'

He turned away from him to only meet with her eyes. Once their eyes met, both of their eyes widened slightly and turned away at once. The awkward atmosphere upon them soon relaxed when the waiter approached their table.

Hazel looked up to order when Jinha caught hold of her hand. She looked at him puzzledly with raised eyebrows. Jinha smiled at her before you proceeded to order for them.

Then, he looked at her and asked softly, "Do you want to order anything extra?"

Hazel puffed her cheeks as she answered, "I'm not a glutton like someone we know."

The twins interjected complaining loudly, "Hey!" making the rest laugh. Hazel shrugged her shoulders as she said, "It's true."

Ren said, "Yes, it is but can you not say it to our faces?"

"You should be proud to be a glutton."

"Trust me when I say this, I'm proud but I don't want any strangers knowing my weakness. Alright?"

Hazel looked at Ren who had serious air around him. She was bewildered by his answer that she nodded her head involuntarily.

Jinha pinched her cheeks making her turn to him. She heard him say, "Well in my eyes, you are one.. so do you want to?"

Hazel shook her head making Jinha let go of her cheeks.

"You have already ordered all my favorites."

Jinha raised his eyebrows as he mimicked shock, "Now, how did that happen? Is it because we hang out a lot that my taste is also changing?"

Hazel rolled her eyes as she turned away from him.

Usui closed his eyes as he tried his best to keep their voice out from his mind. He didn't want to lash out at them and make a fool of himself. He was okay when she said she loved him but he wasn't okay when they were flirting right in his face.

'Why can't they be a little considerate?'

Those three words still haunt him.

He opened his eyes as he glared at Jinha who looked at him in confusion.

'What did I do now?'

Jinha knitted his brows when he finally realized that this jealous prince was sitting opposite to them without making a ruckus. He rubbed his chin as he thought what made him give up this easily. He couldn't quite conclude as there were a lot of options for this question.

Hazel's face twitched when she saw him glaring at Jinha. She ignored him and looked at Ren as she asked, "What about Loki?"

They left before they could notify him about this dinner but to her surprise, Ren said, "He said he will be here quite soon."

Hazel nodded her head happily and turned to look at Jinha who was observing her closely.

She looked at him and asked, "What is it?"

Jinha moved closer towards her and mumbled, "Why do I feel like you are still hiding something?"

Hazel drew her brows together as she asked, "What?"

Jinha gestured at Usui with his eyes making Hazel's lips twitch.

"Really?"

Jinha knitted his brows when he saw her looking at him puzzled.

'Was he wrong?'

He pursed his lips and then, shrugged.

'Whatever!'

Hazel relaxed slightly when she saw him let go of his doubts. She didn't want Jinha to know what she did. She was sure he would go ballistic at her.

She rubbed her chin as she thought of how to hide this when she saw the waiter approach their table with a tray full of food. The appetizing smell as well as the juicy dishes instantly made her stomach rumble in hunger.

Hazel was about to dig in when she heard a loud voice shout happily, "There you are. We thought you had forgotten about us since we didn't see you in the morning."

Hazel looked up from her food and gaped at her with wide eyes.

'Shoot! I forgot.'

Looking at her reaction, Adrianna chuckled awkwardly as she asked, "You didn't forget, right?"

Hazel quickly placed her cutlery on the table as she got up and bowed her head.

"I'm sorry... we had a busy morning that I forgot about the meeting."

Adrianna chuckled as she waved her hand and said, " That's okay...we figured that you guys would be busy. That's why we came here hoping to find you." She paused and looked behind her and asked, "And, we were right, right brother?"

Adrian was busy staring at Usui who was stabbing the food disinterestedly. He frowned at him who was sitting opposite of Hazel.

He thought, 'Why isn't he sitting near her?'

From what he understood, these brothers were very possessive, so it didn't seem right when Jinha sat near her and the prince kept quiet.

"Brother?"

Adrian snapped out of his thoughts and looked at the crowd who was looking at him. He smiled awkwardly and said, "Yes."

Hazel chuckled as she said, "Cute"

Adrian blushed at her compliment but soon his face twitched when he saw Usui angrily stab a chicken leg.

'Bro, it was just a compliment!'

Adrian rubbed his head as he agreed, "We were just lucky to run into you guys."

Hazel nodded before she instructed the waiter to add a few more dishes, "Do you want to join us and talk it over dinner?"

The siblings nodded and said happily, "Sure."
