117 Chapter 117: I love Zeke

"Well, yeah..." Hazel smiled sadly, " I used to get them frequently which scared my parents a lot but then, it reduced, and now somehow I can deal with it."

Stella hummed and asked a minute later, "Can I ask what it is about?"

Hazel swung her head towards her and nodded slowly.

" It is a long story but in short, I lost someone precious to me and I couldn't deal with the loss. I cocooned myself in my room and stared at the wall continuously. My parents were worried about my state when none of the healers could help me or diagnose me."

"They were pretty scared when they heard me scream every night with tears trickling down my face."

Hazel sighed before she mumbled, "I couldn't forgive myself"

"Can you forgive now?"

Hazel looked at her and shook her head, "Not really... But I learned not to let it rule my life."

Stella asked in a low voice, "How did you overcome it?"

Hazel shook her head denying her completely, "I didn't overcome it. I don't think I would be able to undo those shackles in this life but I didn't want to surrender to it, so I dealt with it in a way that gave everyone around me peace. I didn't want them to worry."

"Because of them, I could escape my darkness even though I'm still bound to those shackles."

Stella looked at her and heard her vocalize.

"Because they were there for me when I needed them."

Hazel glanced at her and held both of her hands tightly. She smiled softly, "Like how those brothers are towards you."

"I also had a Zeke and Zel in my life, who helped me fight my battles."

Stella gave her a small smile and nodded. She looked at their hands and wondered why her stupid Zeke was not pursuing Hazel again.

Hazel asked suddenly, "So is this what you wanted to talk about?"

Stella laughed, "Not really... I don't know why but somehow you made me want to talk about my troubles."

Hazel laughed, "Looks like you were searching for a good outlet."

Stella chuckled as she nodded her head.

"Maybe"

Hazel didn't hurry her up and waited for her to begin when she heard her state, "I wanted to talk about Zeke."

Instantly her chibi-devil showed up in front of her, swaying its tail as it spoke arrogantly, "See, didn't I tell you?"

Hazel ignored the devil who was gloating on her face. She asked stiffly, "What about him?"

Stella chuckled as she restated her words, "You don't have to be stiff around me" and winked at her.

Hazel didn't relax like she wanted but waited for her to continue.

Stella sighed, "Well... I thought you deserve to know what's between Zeke and me. So I wanted to clear -"

Stella stopped when she felt Hazel hurriedly retrieve her hand and stood up spontaneously. She was still in a state of daze and looked at Hazel bewilderedly.

Stella's lips twitched as she thought, 'Yes, That's why I wanted to clear it out so that it can become a Hundred percent or more.'

Stella also stood up and was about to continue when she was interrupted again, " Really... I'm not a third person."

'What?'

Stella stared at her dumbly.

"What, third person?"

Hazel looked at her with her eyes beseeching her to listen. She didn't want this girl to explode and hit her like a maniac like the others who acted on their jealousy.

Jealousy can be really severe if not handled smoothly. She had once seen how two girls fought over Jinha in front of her. It was nasty!

"I already know how much you guys love each other and that he had his heart stolen way before he came here."

Stella widened her eyes in shock and gaped at her. Seeing her react like this, Hazel thought she didn't believe her words.

When she saw Stella recover and knit her brows. Hazel figured she was doomed. She didn't want any conflict between them because of some dumb idiot.

Somewhere away from the dormitory, Usui sneezed, "Who's talking about me?"

When Hazel saw Stella open her mouth, she quickly raised her hand and said, "Please...just listen to me."

Stella shook her head as she didn't want to hear any more of her ridiculous theory.

"Please"

Stella rubbed her forehead in pure frustration and waved her hand.

Hazel sighed as she continued, "You don't have to worry about me. I'm not your competition nor your rival. Moreover, I really think you suit Zeke more than anyone."

Hazel ignored the itch in her heart when she uttered those words.

"The fact that he came here for me was all just a huge misunderstanding. He didn't come here for me."

Stella raised her eyebrows in surprise.

'The person who didn't even bother to inform the academy personally and handed a letter, who didn't waste any time to come here instantly, that was all a misunderstanding? Really?'

It was as if Hazel read her thoughts that she nodded, "Yes, really !"

"He didn't like me nor love me. He was just confused for a minute."

Stella covered her mouth in shock.

'Oh boy!! Zeke would be very pissed if he heard this.'

On seeing her actions, Hazel misunderstood that she finally understood the meaning.

"You don't have to think of me as a problem or be wary about me. You guys should love each other without being worried about a third person like me. You can even consider that I don't exist if you want."

Stella took deep breaths as she couldn't believe what she was hearing. When the hell did things worsen to this state?

She scoffed, 'I love Zeke?'

'And, Zeke loves me?'

' He had his heart stolen way before he came here?'

'YOU MUST BE KIDDING ME?!!!'
