Chapter 26 - Awkwardness Between the Two of Them

Huo Ye grabbed the woman’s hand tightly and flung it to the side. “Get lost!”

The woman stumbled and almost sprained her ankle from her high heels. Her face turned pale and she wanted to explain, but she was stopped by Huo Ye’s assistant.

Huo Ye looked coldly at the rest of the people in the meeting room and suddenly chuckled, but his eyes were filled with coldness. “Throw her out and let her reflect on herself, so that she doesn’t forget who she is!”

The woman muttered something in the intern’s ear and left.

Xia Sheng came out of the pantry and heard everything clearly.

The employees were gossiping about what happened between Xia Sheng and Huo Ye. Now that they were discovered by the main character, they were scared out of their wits.

Xia Sheng swept her gaze over the people who were looking around. Her expressionless face frightened many people, and for a moment, there was only the sound of typing.

Seeing that everyone was working hard, she said coldly, “I’ll announce a mission. As long as someone can find the person who started the gossip, his salary will double this month.”
