Chapter 104 - he likes her?

Liang Shao saw both of them looking at the same place with different looks on their faces. Wang Lu had an amused look on his face as if he was expecting some drama, while Mu Chang had furrowed his brows as he looked at something or someone. He looked at their place and saw two women walking towards the bar. "Are those girls Shen Ruyi and Ru Shi?"

Mu Chang's face became icy as he stared at them. He took out his phone and called Ru Shi while he looked at her.

Ru Shi took out her phone and nervously glanced at Shen Ruyi. "He..llo?"

For a long time Mu Chang did not speak, making Ru Shi more nervous.

"Where are you?" Both of his eyes seemed to be staring right through Ru Shi.

Ru Shi swallowed as she looks at Shen Ruyi. "I'm with Shen Ruyi"

Mu Chang held his brows. "I'm asking where you are, not who you are with."

"We are taking a walk." Ru Shi said sweetly. It is not like she is lying though.

Liang Shao and Wang Lu looked at Mu Chang's expression as it instantly changed. They could not help but break into a cold sweat.

Mu Chang ended the call and strode forward. He caught hold of Ru Shi's wrist.

"Aha..." Scared by the sudden touch, Ru Shi turned around to look at the person who had held her wrist. She froze as she looks at Mu Chang. How can he be here? Did they not talk on the phone just now? "Mu.. Chang…" Ru Shi called his name as she smiled awkwardly. She turned her head to glare at Shen Ruyi as if to say this all your fault.

"Ru Shi, are you secretly coming out to fool around?" Wang Lu smirked as he asked. He knows Mu Chang will get angry when he hears this. It is very fun to tease this guy. As predicted when Mu Chang heard him, he furrowed his brows.

"Huh, no-no is not like that." She nervously looked at Mu Chang's face. Her little face was now like a child who had been caught doing something bad.

"You dressed like this for a walk?" Mu Chang said with a blank expression.

Ru Shi panicked even more due to the fact that he was expressionless. It scared her even more. She was the one who said they should not lie to each other, but she did.

"You listen. It is not like that. Let me explain." She was caught on the scene so she has to explain everything. She was planning on telling Mu Chang the truth when she went back home. Then maybe if he got angry she would have seduced him to make him forgive her. After all, it always worked in the movies. And she did not really lie, but just dodged his questions with excuses. But who would have thought she would meet him here instead. Now all her plans had been destroyed.

"Oh? Then let's go so you can explain. I will listen attentively," Mu Chang said as he pulled her behind him to the bar.

Ru Shi looked to the people in the back for help but all of them had a helpless look on their face. Only Wang Lu was smirking. But if one looked closely, he would see the sadness in his eyes.

He knew love is a dangerous game and he might suffer when he invested too many feelings into it. But now, looking at how happy Mu Chang was, maybe he should give his heart a chance.

A little Lolita figure appeared in his mind. He frowned, ever since he slept with her, he cannot sleep with other women. He keeps comparing them to her making him less interested in other women.

She is like an addiction. And now he cannot even find her. He does not even know if she is an enemy or what her reason was to lie about her identity just to sleep with him. He sighed. Liang Shao looked at Shen Ruyi who had a fl.u.s.tered look on her face as she stared at Mu Chang pulling Ru Shi. He looked at her and swallowed.

She had a shapely figure which could make men obsessed and women jealous. Her hair was mahogany in color and it tumbled over her shoulders. Her waist was tapered.

Her pair of arched eyebrows looked down on her sweeping eyelashes. Her brown eyes set his heart a-thump. He stared at her oxbow lips as she bit them.

Her bubbly personality did not hide her elegance. All of this mesmerized him. He wondered how her lips would taste like when he kissed her. Her crescent shaped eyebrows inclined slightly as she saw him staring at her. He coughed as he looks away, the tips of his ears slightly red.

Shen Ruyi raised her eyebrows as she looked at him. This is the third time she has seen him staring at her with such an intense gaze. Can it be that he likes her? 'Shen Ruyi, stop thinking too highly of yourself. Why would he like you? He probably wants a m.a.t.u.r.e woman who knows what she wants, not a stupid girl like you.' She sighed.

"Shall we go?" Wang Lu asked as he looks at Liang Shao. This stupid guy cannot even hit on a woman when she is right beside him. Liang Shao glared at Wang Lu as if to warn him not to try any funny things. Wang Lu turned to Shen Ruyi, ignoring the warning in his eyes.

"Little Ruyi, let's go. It is not safe to stand here alone in the middle of the night."

Shen Ruyi woke up from her stupor when she heard him. "Okay, let's go."
