Chapter 105 - Come here often

Ru Shi fidgeted as she sat in the VIP lounge in the red bar. She looked at Mu Chang who was leaning on the sofa. He had a glass of wine in his hand. What made Ru Shi more uneasy was the fact that he had not said anything since they sat down.

Shen Ruyi looked at the atmosphere and shivered. She was really afraid of what Mu Chang would do. She really wanted to flee right now. It was like waiting for the devil's judgement.

Ru Shi looked at Shen Ruyi and saw that she wanted to sneak away. "Shen Ruyi. Are you even my friend? Wanting to sneak away when it is all your fault. Where is your loyalty?"

Shen Ruyi scratched her head when she heard Ru Shi. She smiled awkwardly. "Who said I'm sneaking away? I'm just going to sit more comfortably," Shen Ruyi said cheekily as she looked at Ru Shi.

Liang Shao smiled when he heard her. 'Gosh she is very cute.'

Because Ru Shi could not stand the weird atmosphere, she took the glass of wine before her and gulped all the wine in it.

Mu Chang glanced at her.

If Ru Shi looked carefully she would have seen him smiling faintly now.

If Ru Shi knew what Mu Chang was thinking she would have probably hit him with something.

Ru Shi on the other hand, was going crazy, watching Mu Chang sitting there and drinking. Would he not ask anything? Was he waiting for her to explain first? She had already planned to deny that she had lied since she really did not. She just dodged the question when Mu Chang asked him where she was going. "Mu Chang, listen to me."

Mu Chang turned to look at her, indicating he is listening.

"Shen Ruyi said I should accompany her because she was afraid. Originally I refused but you know how persistent she can be. So I asked her to call you. Who knew she lied telling you we are going to a class reunion? I knew you wouldn't allow me to go with her if I asked you. And I don't want to disappoint her too so I did what I thought was best. I just dodged the question when you asked me. I didn't lie. And I was planning on telling you when we got back home." Ru Shi said it in one breath as she looked at Mu Chang. She wanted to see his reaction.

"What makes you think I will not let you go?"

Ru Shi opened her mouth and closed it again. She really did not know how to explain this. "I…" She avoided his eyes.

"So if you knew I wouldn't agree to let you come here, why did you come?" Mu Chang said as he put down his glass.

Ru Shi sighed. The problem had returned to its original point, frustrated she leaned against the sofa.

Mu Chang sighed deeply. He glared coldly at Shen Ruyi. She swallowed as she avoided her cousin's eyes.

Ru Shi decided not to explain anymore. She would just accept her mistake. "I'm sorry. I should have told you." She said softly.

Mu Chang raised his brows. He was not expecting her to give in so easily.

"But why can you come here but I cannot?" Ru Shi said after a few minutes as she scanned the place. She looked at the women who were wearing revealing clothes as they danced the night away. 'Does he usually come here? Because this is the second time she has seen him here.'

Mu Chang knew there was no way she would admit defeat so easily. "I am different from you." Mu Chang said.

Ru Shi turned to look at him. "You're different from me? Is it because I'm a woman and you're a man?" She asked aggressively. Ru Shi glared at him as she grabbed the bottle of wine and pour herself another cup of wine then she gulped down the wine.

Ru Shi suddenly got jealous thinking he came here frequently. Probably a lot of girls must have been feasting on him. Does he let those hostesses serve him?

Mu Chang looked at her with wide eyes. 'Is she crazy?'

Ru Shi turned as she looks at Liang Shao "You tell me, does he come here often?"

Liang Shao smirked. Of course he would not have let go of this opportunity to get his revenge on Mu Chang. He sighed as if making a difficult decision. Then he nodded. It seems only Ru Shi could bully Mu Chang.

Mu Chang face became gloomy as he glared at Liang Shao as if to ask; do you want to live?

Ru Shi frowned when she saw Liang Shao shaking his head. She turned to look at Mu Chang and looked back at Liang Shao. "Don't be afraid, I am here. He won't do anything to you. Just tell me."

Liang Shao turned to look at Wang Lu who had been quiet all this time. It is quite weird for him to be quiet when a chance has been presented to bully Mu Chang. He saw him drinking in a daze, as if his soul was not there. He knew something was bothering him, or he would not have asked them to come for a drink. Suddenly a sound interrupted his thoughts. He turned as he saw Ru Shi hitting the table as she stood up.
