Chapter 415 - Reason

"Sure. I'm fine. Oh yes, can I ask you something?". Natalie asked, a little nervous. 

"Of course, ask what you want to ask!". Kevin replied while sitting down casually. 

"I'm still curious, why did Mr Kevin take me to YM Entertainment when GM dumped me? Moreover, our initial meeting was not very good?". Natalie asked.

Kevin smiled as he adjusted his seat and glanced at Natalie.

The assistant frowned when he saw his boss smiling because it was the first time he smiled in front of him. 

"Because I know that GM has thrown away the precious diamonds and kept the common gold. YM will be very lucky to have you". Kevin replied.

As the best director of many years at YM and his name is very popular in the entertainment industry, Kevin is telling the truth. He could easily see a person's talent even if other people thought he was crazy. He can also turn ugly ducks into beautiful geese. 

"Then what are you planning to clear my name and why did you ask me to come here?" Natalie asked straight to the point.

"That's small for my boss. So you don't need to worry, because he only blinked once then it was clean immediately. Next I just want you to know YM only that's why I asked you to come". Kevin replied confidently because he knows who Maxwell is a charming man with a sweet smile but very deadly if he is bullied. 

Natalie looked at Kevin with an expression that was complicated between trust and disbelief because her current scandal was not an easy one, it was very complicated.

If GM just put up his hand then how will YM do it and who is the boss Kevin is referring to, can't be Sandy? 

Natalie kept on guessing because she felt that it was absolutely impossible to clean up so quickly. Besides that, her heart was still restless because she had not received any news about Nathan's whereabouts.

"After your scandal is over, the boss himself will introduce you to the public as one of YM Entertainment's Noble participants''. Kevin said who relied on Maxwell to appear on his behalf. 

Hearing Kevin's words, Natalie was surprised. She is already registered as a participant of GM. However, the name may have been crossed out. Then, what would the press say if I suddenly appeared as a participant of YM? Thought Natalie.

"Don't think too much, you prepare yourself to face this war, because you have become the trigger. Maybe, the GM Group and YM Group will disagree. Even so, you have to stay focused and ignore the others!". Kevin said again, who kept trying to convince Natalie not to falter or worry about pointless things.

"I do not understand the world of business people, because I will only focus on my music. Thank you for believing in me!". Natalie said, smiling and showing her respect.

"Trust is expensive, so don't disappoint me! And one more thing, the big boss of YM is going to have a garden party in his village, he invites all YM artists. So, you have to come. The event is in a few days". Said Kevin who has his own initiative even though Maxwell never said it. 

"I will try!". Natalie replied, nodding respectfully.

Hearing Natalie's answer, Kevin's beautiful narrow eyes shone brightly with a seductive smile.

Just then, Natalie received a message from one of her friends at GM. Instantly he opened it. 

"Nathan" ?.

Natalie's eyes began to tear when she saw the contents of the message which was the most popular news about Nathan and Clara's engagement which will be held this week. 

Kevin noticed Natalie's bad expression, and he tried to guess what Natalie saw. 

"Is that a message from your boyfriend?". Kevin asked doubtfully. 

"No. This is just news about my friend's wedding". Natalie replied with a bitter smile. 

Hearing Natalie's answer, Kevin immediately glanced at his assistant while asking. "What's the news this morning?".

"About Mr. Ju's younger brother's engagement to Clara". Answer his assistant after checking it.

Hearing the name of the future woman, Kevin took a deep breath because Clara was the grandson of one of the city's most respected people. Besides that, Clara is quite a successful girl in the fashion field.

"Don't let anything mess up your concentration, including love, because love always makes other people do stupid things that she will regret in the future". Kevin said. 

Natalie felt offended by Kevin's words. Because he once destroyed his life in the name of love. 

"I will go now, the rest I wait for information from you. And thank you for the advice Mr. Kevin. Then, excuse me!". After saying that, Natalie came out of Kevin's room and was escorted directly by his assistant. 

Kevin didn't say anything because he understood Natalie's feelings.

"What's wrong with me? Why am I interested in continuing to help that girl I should hate? Am I crazy?". Inner Kevin.

After finishing thinking about it, Kevin immediately made a call to Maxwell.

"Hello?". There was Maxwell's soft voice across the phone.

"How? Have you taken care of Natalie?" Asked Kevin without preamble. 

"Hahahaha ... Of course. In a few minutes the news will come out". Maxwell replied with a chuckle. 

Qiara grinned at Maxwell who was really weird, so laughable and so different from her beloved husband. 

"I believe in you!". After saying that, Kevin hung up the call because he had no interest in Maxwell anymore. 

"Why don't you ask?".

Qiara turned her head in confusion when she heard Maxwell's question. "What?".

"I called Kevin earlier, don't you want to know what we discussed?". Asked Maxwell whom Qiara wanted to praise.

Instantly Qiara fell silent, she thought that Maxwell was very polite to ask first, because usually he always tells directly.

"What's wrong, boss?". Qiara asked in the end because he wanted to appreciate Maxwell.

"I've cleared your friend's name from the scandal. Aren't I cool?". After saying that, Maxwell chuckled with pride. 

Qiara was shocked, she looked at Maxwell with a teary gaze. "Is it true that the boss did?".

"Of course".

"Wow, boss is so cool ... Hahahaha ...". Qiara was so happy to hear Maxwell's statement, she didn't expect that Natalie's scandal would clear up in a matter of days. 

Maxwell just laughed after hearing Qiara praising him sincerely, it was not in vain that he passed from GM Entertainment after visiting someone whose house is not far from the GM Entertainment office.. Because he could meet Qiara accidentally.
