Chapter 416 - Take A Walk

JJ Group offices.

Meanwhile, Julian stopped his work when he saw Andi standing in front of him.

"Andi, what about the news about Nathan?". Asked Julian.

"Mr. Joseph has deleted the news, even so the media are still pursuing the truth until Mr. Joseph issued an announcement about the engagement of young master Nathan and Miss Clara, so netizens stormed Natalie's account and insulted her. What should I do?". Andi explained in accordance with what had been investigated. 

"For now I can't fight Papa, because Mama shouldn't be hurt by the truth. Rena has also closed this story and didn't demand anything. Not only that, if Papa finds out I'm acting, chances are he will immediately investigate my life. forced me to marry Viona like he did today. Luckily I have reasons to postpone the marriage again. But, I can't let all this happen to an innocent person ". Julian thought while clenching his fists. 

"Ask the PR team secretly to defend Natalie, say that she and Nathan are good friends so Nathan will help her in that way!". Julian ordered while glaring intently at Andi. 

"Yes boss. But, it would be better if young master Nathan explained it himself". Said Andi who tried to convey his suggestion. 

"I'll think about it". Replied Julian. 

"Well then, I will carry out!". After that Andi went out to carry out his duties.

"Jasmin must come soon, otherwise everything will fall apart!". Inner Julian.

A few moments later.

Julian received a call from Qiara, suddenly Julian's heart immediately softened because the figure who was always able to calm his heart contacted him first. 

"Hello dear?". Said Julian first after sliding the green icon on his cellphone.

"Hello Julian, where are you?". Qiara asked seriously. 

"I'm at the office, what's wrong? Have you just finished shooting?".

"I'm shooting at one in the afternoon. Therefore, do you want to eat ice cream with me?".

Julian thought he heard wrong so he fell silent when he heard Qiara's invitation.

"Julian, why are you silent? Answer me if you don't want to!". Qiara was getting annoyed because Julian was silent as if he didn't like her invitation. 

"Sorry dear, I'm just surprised because this is the first time you take me to eat ice cream together. Where do you want me to pick you up?". Said Julian, holding his smile because he was too happy. 

"You don't need to pick me up, just meet me in the city park. All right, I'm waiting for you!". Qiara replied. 

"Okay, don't go anywhere, in a few minutes I'll be there!". After saying that, Julian immediately walked out of his room without paying attention to his secretary who was surprised to see him walking so fast. 

Meanwhile, from a distance, Maxwell chose to pay attention to Qiara from a distance. He was curious about who Qiara was waiting for, so he insisted on getting off at the park. 

Unfortunately, Maxwell could not wait any longer because he had to come to the office immediately, he reluctantly turned the car around and left the park area.

A few minutes later.

Julian arrived at the park, he immediately got out of the car and approached Qiara, who was seen smiling sweetly in one direction. 

"Dear?".

Qiara immediately turned her head when she heard a soft voice calling her dear.

"Have you come?". Qiara said with a gaze that made Julian's heart beat faster. 

"I immediately rushed here after receiving a call from you. Oh yeah, have you bought ice cream?". Julian asked while sitting nervously beside Qiara.

"I want to buy that ice cream from you and our son!". Qiara replied while seeing Zio and her nanny walking toward her seat with Julian. 

Julian was surprised to hear what Qiara said, he immediately turned his head towards his son who would soon be in front of him. Julian thought, Qiara asked him out together while eating ice cream. 

However, he immediately looked at the clock when he realized that it was still morning which meant it was not time for Zio to come home from school. 

"Honey, why is Zio here, isn't he supposed to be in school?". Julian asked Qiara confusedly. 

"It's okay to take a day off, Zio is also a smart kid, so he won't miss lessons. After all, we rarely go out for the three of us. So, be happy that we have this opportunity!". Qiara answered, touching Julian's cheek with a big smile. 

Instantly, Julian fell silent as if enchanted by the small action Qiara gave her. 

"She touched my cheek and I feel very happy, actually what's wrong with me, am I falling in love again?". Julian thought with a shy smile.

"Papa ...". Zio's voice immediately snapped Julian out of his reverie. Instantly Julian turned his head and saw his son running towards him.

"Oh, my son. Are you skipping school today because you want to take a walk?". Julian said as he brought the small and soft body to his lap.

"Yes, said Auntie, we will eat ice cream and take a walk around the park". Zio replied while carving a smile on the corner of his lips. 

"Honey, you smile?". Asked Qiara who felt very happy when she saw Zio's smile even though it was only a little. 

"Of course my son can smile when he's with me".

Hearing Julian's words, Qiara immediately fell silent because she felt that her son really didn't know her anymore. 

"Oh, sorry". Said Julian when he realized Qiara's expression.

"Why are you sorry?". Qiara asked as she forced her smile.

Meanwhile, Zio was silent watching his biological mother whom he called his aunt when talking to his father.

"Don't think about it, we better take a walk right now!". Julian said as he turned his face away from Qiara, he couldn't possibly answer Qiara's question in front of Zio. 

"Okay. But, you have to change your appearance first so that no one will recognize us!". Qiara said with a sly smile.

Julian immediately nodded, after that they both changed their clothes so they could disguise themselves as ordinary people.

Luckily, Qiara saved Liu's phone number, who is now Zio's nanny so he doesn't have to pick Zio to school.

That day the three of them traveled until they lost track of time, Qiara was happy to see her son laugh at every opportunity. 

They ate ice cream happily, Julian laughed out loud and enjoyed traveling as if there was no burden in his life.
