Chapter 420 - Conference

Maxwell and his entourage sat on the prepared chairs, all the reporters immediately highlighted Natalie who sat quietly beside Kevin. 

"Calm down, everything has been cleaned by the Boss. You don't be nervous!". Kevin whispered to cheer up Natalie.

Meanwhile Qiara received a message on her cellphone and it was from Julian, she immediately lowered her head to read it.

"Why are you sitting next to Maxwell?".

Qiara carved a slight smile on the corner of her lips after reading the message. 

"Are you jealous of my boss?". Qiara replied with an E-motion smile. 

"Hahahaha ... There's no way I'm jealous of a guy like Maxwell, even so you have to keep your safe distance from him!".

"Okay".

Qiara smiled after closing her short chat with Julian via message.

"Is there any problem!". Asked Maxwell in a whisper before the question and answer with reporters began.

"No boss, you can continue this event so we won't be here too long!". Qiara replied respectfully.

Maxwell also agreed with what Qiara said because she hated being in front of the camera the most. 

Qiara was forced to attend the press conference on Maxwell's orders on the grounds of accompanying Natalie so as not to get nervous. However, Qiara's decision to participate has drawn jealousy even more from YM Entertainment artists.

The question and answer session started, because it was a live broadcast, not only Julian was watching but the whole community, especially some people who knew their faces.

"Is it true that you are Mr. Maxwell Adamson who is the President Director of YM Group?".

The first question made some people surprised because they thought that YM Group was led by an old person who never showed his face. 

"Are you related to Natalie Ayumi so you invited her directly to YM Entertainment? Didn't she have been dumped by GM, then what is the reason you picked up used goods?".

The second question provoked Kevin, Qiara and Natalie were silent even though Qiara herself wanted to scream and even wanted to gag the reporter who was already rude.

"Yes, try to explain to us what is the reason you brought Natalie Ayumi to YM Entertainment after GM Entertainment dumped her for having an unattractive body with a bad scandal?". 

Facing many questions from reporters and some even very rude, Maxwell remained calm because it was not him if he was easily provoked by such trivial things. As Maxwell's style, he also engraved a smile on the corner of his lips that instantly melted the hearts of girls. 

"My introduction is Maxwell Adamson who is the President Director of YM Group, sorry for never appearing because I was too busy playing!". Maxwell answered with one breath.

So, I just want to thank GM Entertainment for throwing away the luxury diamonds so YM Entertainment can pick her up with rejoice. Therefore, I will have a garden party to welcome the arrival of my precious diamond! ". Maxwell said, glancing at Natalie with an alluring smile. 

"Boss, do you consider me a precious diamond? This is the first time I feel like a human whose existence is valued. Thank you for accepting me, I will not disappoint you all!". Natalie thought with tears in her eyes. 

Qiara began to admire Maxwell's extraordinary figure for praising Natalie that much. Even so, her husband was still the most extraordinary man who could not be matched. 

GM Entertainment was shocked by a press conference conducted by Maxwell. However, they could only watch without daring to comment.

"Maxwell Adamson, you finally appeared this way. But, why should Natalie?". Said Daniel who is the CEO of GM Entertainment who really recognizes Natalie's talent, but he had no choice when Julian's father and Helena's incitement made Natalie out.

"Lastly, I want to confirm that Natalie and I are not in a special relationship because I already have another woman I like. In addition, gossip about Natalie having been pregnant is a lie". Maxwell connected while glancing at Qiara beside him with a sweet smile. 

Seeing Maxwell's glance at Qiara, Julian hit the table so that Andi was immediately shocked and retreated. 

"How dare he glanced at my wife, would he want to invite me to war?". Shouted Julian with a terrible look. 

"Boss is on a rampage, do I have to run away. But, he will get even more angry if I go quietly. Mr. Maxwell really angered him, he doesn't know that the boss's wife is a terrible woman. I just have to think a thousand times to like her. But, the young masters of this rich company are even chasing her and even love her so deeply. I thought they were insane for doing that. Like no other woman ". Andi thought, looking down in fear.

"Andi, prepare the car right now!". Julian commanded in a deep voice. 

"Where will you go? Isn't it time to meet our client?". Asked Andi who tried to remind Julian about the client Julian had to meet. 

"I'm going to make calculations with Maxwell, so I have to meet him!". Julian replied firmly. 

"I'm sorry boss, it's not like you want to interfere, but the boss shouldn't do this, because if the boss meets Mr. Maxwell and says to stay away from your wife, it will only show how weak your love is who can't trust your wife. Not only that, Mrs Qiara will probably doubt you again". It was clear that Andi was trying to calm his boss down so he wouldn't act stupid. 

Julian was silent to hear what Andi said, he still remembered how hard it was to get Qiara's love, so he had to go through a difficult time for five years without Qiara. If he acted recklessly then he would definitely make Qiara's life uncomfortable.

Now that Qiara is starting to open up to her feelings, he doesn't want Qiara to return to her old self.. For him, Qiara was not only love but a promise to make amends for her past mistakes.
