Chapter 421 - Shocking

"I can't be nervous, Qiara is already my wife so Maxwell won't be able to take her away from me. I won't let the painful past happen again. But, what if Qiara knows the truth about Vania and Maxwell, will she leave me?". Julian thought with a feeling of chaos.

"This time I will listen to you, let's go to meet that client!". After saying that, Julian immediately invited Andi to go to meet his client so that his bad thoughts would soon disappear.

"Love is amazing, a boss who is famous for being great at everything, can look childish and very stupid after being faced with love. That's why I don't want to fall in love". Andi thought as he walked following Julian obediently from behind. 

"All right, my press conference is closed until here. Excuse me!". After saying that Maxwell invited Kevin and the two women who were with them to leave the place. 

The reporters were simply stunned to see Maxwell's entourage leaving, for them this was a press conference which was quite extraordinary as all the questions were answered clearly without leaving room for the reporters to ask any further questions.

Meanwhile, GM Entertainment started to watch the conference. 

They didn't think that Natalie would be picked up by YM Entertainment.

Some others feel very sorry for GM Entertainment's decision to release Natalie, especially now that Natalie is immediately named as one of the brand ambassadors for a diamond necklace from a well-known company, namely the Luan Group.

"Boss, I'll go with Aurel". Qiara said after receiving a message from Aurel.

After that she went to see Aurel who was in her room.

Natalie felt uncomfortable when Qiara left, but she had to join Kevin into his office to discuss a few things. 

"I thought you were great today". Kevin whispered to Maxwell. 

"I'm always great every day, you are blind because you don't want to see it". Said Maxwell smugly.

Kevin just nodded his head because what Maxwell said was real. However, Maxwell must return to his house to prepare the party. Kevin and Natalie also escorted him to the main door.

"Maxwell?".

The three of them turned their heads when they heard a woman's voice calling for Maxwell from the exit.

Instantly Natalie's legs trembled to see who it was. Meanwhile, Kevin and Maxwell just took a deep breath to see the woman they had not seen for a long time.

Maxwell just took a deep breath to see the beautiful woman staring at him gently.

"Long time no see Mr. Adamson!". Said the girl, smiling sweetly at Maxwell.

"Jasmin Al Vero, nice to see you in this city again!". Replied Maxwell with a sweet smile. 

"Looks like Maxwell's boss is familiar with Jasmin?". Natalie thought, looking down embarrassed.

"I thought you were going to send me out of this city. Hehe ...".

Jasmin looks very beautiful when smiling, let alone laughing.

"Oh yeah, hello Kevin. How are you?". Jasmin didn't forget to greet Kevin, who had been silent. 

"I'm good. Well, I will leave you now. Because I have business with my new artist!". After saying that, Kevin took Natalie away.

Instantly Natalie hurried away leaving Max and Jasmin, lowering her head so that Jasmin wouldn't see her.

"It seems I know the girl who is with Kevin, is that her girlfriend?". Jasmin asked while walking with Maxwell.

"I don't know". Maxwell answered, shrugging his shoulders. 

"You and Kevin are still rumored to be dating, you are handsome but redundant. Hehehe ..". Jasmin said, patting Maxwell's shoulder. 

"Nowadays we have to be careful in choosing a partner so as not to regret it, that's why Kevin and I are still alone".

"Okay, I agree with what you said".

Of course Jasmin agrees because she doesn't even want to decide to get married yet.

After that they both got into Maxwell's car because Jasmin invited him to talk in a quiet place. 

Not long after, they arrived at Maxwell's house because she thought it was the quietest place.

"Please, sit!". Maxwell said after they were in the living room of his house. 

Jasmin immediately sat across from Maxwell with an unpleasant expression. 

"Now tell me what your purpose is to meet me!". Asked Maxwell matter-of-factly.

"My dad started to mess again, he kept my brother in a place I couldn't find. His cellphone was also not active. Last I got the news that he was detained in his apartment, but after that he was moved again to a place that could not be traced. Jasmin explained, looking down sadly.

"Don't you have a great brother? Julian can definitely help you, right?". Maxwell asked casually. 

"He will not be able to do it because he is afraid of Papa, I came to you because it is only you I can think of. So, please help me find my brother!". Jasmin said while pleading with Maxwell. 

"Jasmin, did you come all the way back to this city just for this? Then, where is the role of Julian who will replace your Papa. You shouldn't have done this".

Maxwell is the laziest to deal with people like Mr. Joseph.

"That's why I asked you to marry so that I have a guardian besides my father". Jasmin said while sighing heavily.

Maxwell was silent for a moment while watching the beautiful Jasmin, after that he opened his mouth again. 

"Getting married is not the only solution, we are not in a serious relationship, that's why we won't be able to get married. Okay, I'll find Nathan for you, but you don't involve me with your family or mention getting married!". Maxwell says quickly because he doesn't want to prolong the discussion about remarrying Jasmin.

"Okay". Jasmin replied with a smile, because she knew that Maxwell would want to help her. 

Maxwell is a man Jasmin loves after she managed to move on from her boyfriend who betrayed her. Unfortunately, Maxwell did not welcome her feelings.

Since Maxwell is a free-spirited and easy-going man, he doesn't like to be bound by any rules, as long as he doesn't break any laws of the country, everything will be fine.

For Maxwell, Jasmin is a good friend who must be helped when she needs and must be reminded, if she is wrong even though in reality she is not a person who is free from mistakes.
