Chapter 448 - Regret

The orphanage nanny did not hold back from giving an explanation because Natalie was running very fast.

"Nathan, why are you playing with me like this, at least you tell me why you left. This time I will not be quiet, I will meet you to ask for your accountability!". Natalie thought with the tears that kept flowing and getting heavier.

Elite hospital.

Meanwhile at the hospital, Jasmin continues to force her legs to run towards the ICU.

Clear beads flooded her cheeks when she saw the woman who gave birth to her lying on the patient bed in the ICU.

However, Jasmin's feet took a heavy step when she saw Viona sitting next to her mother.

"Aunt must be strong for your children!". Said Viona, smiling at Sarah. 

Sarah also replied to Viona's words with a weak smile. 

"I was one step late, all this time I forgot that I have a mother, now someone else is beside her, I'm really bad". Jasmin thought with tears in her eyes. 

She canceled her intention to meet her mother, then she ran out of the hospital because she thought that her mother hated her so much. 

In the hospital garden. 

"Have I been too mean to Mama? Why should I punish Mama for Papa's mistakes, I shouldn't be like this. I want to be beside Mama, at least to hold her hand at this time!". Jasmin says softly while hitting her chest with great regret. 

"It hurts too much".

Just then Julian arrived, but he immediately ran to the ICU without seeing his sister in the park. 

ICU Room.

"Will my mother be okay?". Julian asked Viona after seeing Viona come out of the ICU.

"Auntie is fine, but she can't control her emotions when she remembers her husband who was detained. Aunt always says that Uncle is not that kind of person!". Viona explained.

Julian's heart ached at Viona's explanation, he knew that his mother was too soft and weak, she was rarely angry but easily hurt. 

"Julian, are you still holding on? Don't you know that auntie really wants us to get married, why don't you try to make her wish come true, who knows then she will be happy". Said Viona who started trying to take advantage of the situation. 

Julian was silent and ignored what Viona said, he didn't know what to say to Viona. 

"Brother ...".

Julian and Viona turned their heads when they heard this voice, and they found Nathan standing at the door. 

"I will go now, you guys talk!". After saying that Viona immediately left Julian's presence because she had work to do.

After Viona left, Julian asked her mother to be transferred to the first class room.

A few moments later.

Sarah had already been moved to a more comfortable and nice room, immediately Nathan walked over to her mother's bed with tears in his eyes. Julian didn't say much because he knew how close Nathan was and how loved his mother.

"Mama...". Nathan burst into tears, but Julian pulled his body when he wanted to hug his mother.

"Let me go, I want to hug Mama!". Said Nathan as he tried to get away from Julian because he felt guilty for his mother. 

"Mama is sleeping, if you hug her I'm afraid Mama will wake up. So, let's just sit down and wait until Mama wakes up!". Julian said as he invited Nathan to sit down. 

Nathan obeyed his brother's words because he didn't want to disturb his mother either.

A few moments later.

Nathan was calm, he sat looking at his mother.

"Are you here alone?". Julian asked after being silent for a while. 

"Yes".

"Where's Natalie? Did you take her home first?". Julian asked again because as far as he remembered Nathan was indeed with Natalie. 

For a moment Nathan was silent, he just remembered that Natalie was still in the orphanage. But he wasn't worried because he was sure Natalie would understand and was waiting for him if the orphanage gave her an explanation.

"I left her at the orphanage, she might have come home after knowing I left". Nathan answered. 

Julian was surprised to hear Nathan's answer, he glared at his younger brother because he had gone too far for a woman. 

"Nathan ... Why did you let her go home alone? Aren't you worried about her? It's late and it's not good for a woman to travel alone outside the city. What if someone bothers her?".

Julian really can't stop thinking about his younger brother who apparently can't take responsibility for someone.

Clara overheard Julian's words, who happened to come to visit Sarah in secret.

However, she had to come because she still hoped that she could marry Nathan even though her parents had strongly forbidden her, especially now that Nathan's father was arrested.

"Nathan must not worry about it, just let the seductive woman be harassed or kidnapped, or if necessary I will send someone to remove her from this earth so that Nathan will not turn away from me again". Clara thought, smiling slyly.

Clara still didn't want to enter, she remained standing with the door because she still wanted to listen to Nathan and Julian's conversation.

"Nobody would dare bother her, other than that Natalie is all grown up and can take care of herself. So, you take it easy and don't have to talk about Natalie. If Mama hears she's likely going to get sick even more. Said Nathan.

"Hahahaha what a pity you are a seductive woman, I will use this opportunity to get Nathan's sympathy so that he will only look at me!". Inner Clara.

After thinking about it, Clara immediately came in to say hello.

"Good evening Mr. Ju and Nathan ...". Clara said after she stood in front of Nathan and Julian.

Julian and Nathan immediately turned toward the entrance.

"Clara ...?"

Nathan still remembered Clara's annoying face so he was not very friendly to her.

"Sorry if I came, but I was worried when I heard my aunt was hospitalized!". Clara said sadly. 

Nathan and Julian did not say anything because they also did not want to expel people who wanted to visit their mother.

Just then, Julian's cell phone rang and it was from Qiara, immediately he picked it up. 

"I'm going out now to pick up the phone!". Julian said to Nathan.

"Yes".

After that Julian came out and left Clara and Nathan in there, waiting for Sarah, who was not conscious.
