Chapter 483 - Deal

Nathan's brows furrowed slightly in confirming his false promise. After that, Nathan and his parents left the Clara family mansion.

Of course, Clara followed Nathan's family obediently and with a very happy feeling.

Meanwhile, Kevin leaves the restaurant where his grandfather's party was held. He used a taxi because he didn't want to be driven by his grandfather's driver.

Kevin woke up from his daydreams when he got a call from someone whose calls should not be abandoned.

"Hello..". Kevin said first after sliding the green icon on his cellphone.

"Kevin ... Are you already in town A?".

"Yes. I thought you were at my grandfather's party, because I seemed to see you there". Kevin replied while looking out the car window.

"I'm still on the road. Oh yeah, what about our chance?".

"I've sent it to your personal assistant, I hope you don't disappoint me!". Kevin said, emphasizing what he had agreed on.

"Of course. I am Julian Al Vero, never broken promises. Besides, no one will be able to escape from my pursuit. Thank you for looking after Natalie!".

"She is my treasure, therefore you need not be grateful! Hopefully you are not disappointed with what I find!".

"I'll check!". After saying that, Julian hung up the call and smiled.

"I will destroy all of you, and I will correct the wrong. Starting from today!". Julian thought, smiling slyly.

A few moments later.

At Zen Luan's birthday party, all the guests enjoyed their own individual dishes.

However, Maxwell and Daniel are not doing well. They should get together with some of their business partners with Zen Luan.

"I would never have come to a party like this if it weren't for Kevin. Besides, I have to be nice to Zen Luan for giving his mega project to YM Entertainment artists. I have to endure a few more minutes". Maxwell thought, raising his glass to toast the others.

Meanwhile, Daniel continued to stare sarcastically at Maxwell. He really hated the man who was loved by his wife. In addition, Maxwell is his greatest rival in certain areas.

Just then, there was a commotion coming from the door of the party venue.

Seeing a pair of men and women walking towards the center of the event, their arrival immediately stole the attention.

Daniel and Maxwell spontaneously looked at the couple.

At that instant, Daniel's eyes fixed on the woman who looked very conspicuous in the crowd.

The corners of her eyes were slightly bent upwards, these were standard-standard phoenix eyes, she had a sharp nose, her lips were thin, her eyes were as beautiful as diamonds. 

Beside her was a man whose handsomeness was so dazzling to the eye.

Yes, he is Julian and Jasmin. They managed to grab attention because Jasmin is the beauty of City A who is highly admired.

Jasmin embraces Julian's arm like a gentle girl, she smiles cheerfully and is very charming.

"How could she dare to come with Julian? Didn't I do something that scared her last night? How about this, Grandpa must be mad at me because he knew I lied about Jasmin". Daniel was restless inwardly.

Jasmin maintains her surprise, because she never thought that Julian would take her to Zen Luan's party.

Her heart ached when she saw Daniel, but when her eyes glanced at Maxwell, her heart immediately improved. 

"Like a king, that's how I saw Maxwell. Meanwhile, Daniel was just a heartless monster." Jasmin thought.

Julian and Jasmin stopped in front of Zen Luan and Daniel who were standing beside him. 

Instantly, Maxwell smiled at Jasmin as if he could feel her longing in her eyes.

After that, Jasmin accidentally stares at Daniel's terrible black eyes.

But a second later, Jasmin looked away and acted like she never saw him at all.

"Happy birthday Mr. Zen Luan! Sorry I'm late. It's because I have to be careful walking because her leg still hurts". Julian said as he stretched his hand towards Zen Luan.

Zen Luan also smiled bitterly as he glanced at Daniel who was getting nervous, while Maxwell was still standing to the left of Zen Luan while looking at Julian with a suspicious gaze.

"It's okay Mr. Ju. Oh yeah, what's wrong with Mrs Jasmin? Is it true that she's sick?". Zen Luan said after shaking Julian's hand.

Julian smiled then looked at Daniel sarcastically, after that he looked back at Zen Luan and said. "Last night she was dragged away like a criminal by your grandson. Besides, she was also mistreated by him so that her leg was injured".

Zen Luan's expression immediately turned dark, fortunately only they heard Julian's words because the other colleagues were enjoying their meal and chatting with the others.

Jasmin was silent, she believed that Julian would help her solve her problem. She knew that her younger brother was the best he could rely on right now.

Meanwhile, Daniel is getting pale, he feels insecure with his grandfather's glances. 

"Mr. Julian, can we talk about this in another room?". Zen Luan said.

Of course Zen Luan doesn't want to ruin his family's reputation just because of his grandson, he knows who Julian is referring to. Because Kevin couldn't possibly disappoint him.

"I also think the same as you, it's better if we talk in a quiet place!". Julian replied, who also didn't want his sister's reputation to be ruined just because of this problem. 

The four of them headed straight to one of the special rooms in the restaurant, Daniel still unable to make a sound because he had not found the right reason to defend himself.

Meanwhile, Maxwell immediately left the party venue, clenching his fists. He is not willing if his friend is treated like that. 

She heard everything Julian said, but she didn't want to say anything because she didn't want Julian to think that he was meddling in his family matters.

Not long after that, Maxwell got into his car. He immediately made a call to Rafael.

"Hello boss?". Rafael's voice was heard firmly across the phone.

"Find information about the relationship between Daniel and Jasmin, as well as what happened to them last night! After that, send it to me!". Said Maxwell with a sneer.

"Yes boss!".

After that Maxwell hung up the call. 

Even though he was curious, Maxwell didn't want to ask Kevin questions because he knew that Kevin did not have a good relationship with Daniel. Besides, Kevin never wanted to talk about his family.

A moment later.

Maxwell received a message from Rafael, immediately opened it. 

Maxwell frowned as he read the message.

"So, Jasmin and Daniel are husband and wife? But, they never lived together for four years. Why did Jasmin hide it? Likewise with Luan's family. Did Kevin know about this so he was never friendly with Jasmin?". Maxwell's mind kept on wondering.

After that he received a message in the form of a CCTV video taken from a bar and the street around him. 

Maxwell's expression turned terrifying when he saw Jasmin being treated so badly. But, a little smile etched on his lips when he saw his idol woman so great against all of Daniel's bodyguards.

"This girl is extraordinary. But, why do I feel like she looks like Vania? Is she the reincarnation of Vania?". Maxwell's mind kept repeating the scene of Qiara fighting the bodyguards.

Satisfied with staring at Qiara, Maxwell made another call to Rafael.

"Hello boss!". Rafael's great voice searching for information was heard again on the other side of the phone.

"Capture all the guards who participated against Liana. After that, take him to the headquarters!".

"Yes boss!". Rafael answered swiftly.

After that Maxwell hung up again and immediately left the restaurant area.

Meanwhile, in one of the rooms in the restaurant. Julian and Zen Luan sat facing each other.

"Hello Jasmin, finally I can meet you". Said Zen Luan friendly while looking at Jasmin who sat quietly beside Julian.

"Hello..". Jasmin said with a bitter smile. 

"Don't be so nervous, I won't make you uncomfortable. Now, tell me what my grandson did to you!". Zen Luan said in a soft voice.

Without saying anything, Julian showed a video that started from inside the private room in the bar.

Daniel is surprised to see Julian be able to get the video footage which is private. He was also surprised to see that he had clearly hurt Jasmin and had an affair.

"Damn, why didn't I think about getting rid of the CCTV video? I should have cleaned it first!". Inner Daniel.

After watching that video. Zen Luan raised his stick then hit Daniel hard on the back.

"Aaaa ..". Daniel moaned in pain because Zen Luan's punches were so hard. However, he couldn't fight back because it was the punishment he deserved. 

"You kids don't know yourself, how dare you be rude to your own wife. I never even treat your grandmother like that. You deserve it!". Zen Luan said while hitting Daniel non-stop.

Daniel continues to endure pain in his back because he's a man who shouldn't show his weakness in front of women.

Meanwhile, Jasmin looks away because she doesn't want to see the violence happening in front of her.
