Chapter 500 - Good Man

"Oh my God, why did Mr. Kevin stop suddenly? Is something wrong?". Natalie asked with a surprised expression. 

Kevin took a deep breath, after which he glanced at Natalie and said. "Don't look at me like that again!".

"Yes". Natalie replied, nodding obediently, after which she looked away without expression.

However, Kevin felt guilty when he saw her gloomy expression.

"Don't be gloomy like that either. Well, we better get home before Gavin calls again!". After saying that Kevin immediately started the car back up.

Meanwhile Natalie sat back down quietly, stealing glances at Kevin repeatedly.

"He is a unique man, his silence is able to freeze something that melts. I was lucky to meet him". Natalie thought.

Not long after that, they reached Kevin's house. They could see the face of Gavin who was sitting on the porch waiting for them to come home.

"Oh my God... Why are you outside at nights like this?". Natalie asked when she was in front of Gavin.

Just then, Gavin saw Kevin behind Natalie, he immediately ran to him without answering questions from Natalie.

"Papa ...".

Kevin immediately bent down to match Gavin's height, after which he hugged the adorable little boy.

"Papa ... I miss you ..". Gavin said as he hugged Kevin tightly.

Although a little disappointed that Gavin ignored her, her heart immediately felt warm when she saw Kevin and Gavin miss each other by hugging.

"Why are you outside? The air is very cold?". Asked Kevin after releasing his hug.

"I'm waiting for the aunt to come home". Gavin answered innocently.

"Next time, if you want to wait for her, just wait inside. Papa is worried you are sick". Kevin said in a soft voice.

"Yes Papa". Gavin nodded obediently with a cheerful smile.

"Alright, let's go in!". After that Kevin took him to his arms.

Meanwhile, Natalie followed behind them obediently.

"The way to see how caring and kind a man is when he is with a small child. If he is patient then he can surely be more patient with his woman, that's what I think". Natalie thought with a smile.

The presence of Kevin and Gavin in her life, they managed to make her heart, which was badly injured because of the betrayal and loss, which she felt was going on better. She was able to get through this tough day with a smile.

City A.

A few days later, Qiara and Aurel arrived at the YM Entertainment building. The two of them headed straight for the Press Conference held by YM Entertainment for Qiara because her acting was highly praised by the audience. 

Qiara also managed to bring home the award for favorite newcomer artist and second best player. 

"Liana, are you ready?". Aurel asked when she saw Qiara still sitting in the make-up room, to be precise in front of the mirror. 

Qiara looked at Aurel from the mirror, she who sat upright nodded with a smile to tell Aurel that she was ready for the interview.

"If you're ready, let's go out!". After that Aurel stepped out of the room. 

Not long after, Qiara got up and followed Aurel. But before she reached the door, her steps stopped. She turned to face the large mirror beside her. She paused then smiled. She observed her reflection in the mirror, there were so many changes in her that now became more beautiful and shining.

Unfortunately, she frowned when she realized that her body looked fatter, she immediately thought that the reason was that she often made love to Julian so she didn't pay attention to her body shape which was getting more and more stretchy.

"Qiara ... Why are you still inside?".

Qiara turned her head, saw Aurel waiting for her to rush out with a complicated expression. 

"Forgive me!". After that, Qiara walked outside the room, picking up her dress.

Qiara and Aurel arrived at the room where the conference took place, immediately they both heard the sound of applause from reporters and several paid spectators who were deliberately invited to enliven the event. 

"Come on, sit down!". Aurel said, inviting Qiara to sit in her place. 

"Thank you!". Qiara immediately leveled her seat on the red sofa facing the reporters and the audience. 

There are many cameras around her. Of course, this is a national television program that provides information on the world of entertainment. And for the first time Qiara faced a situation like this so she felt excited because she was the main character in this event.

In order to become the main character at this press conference, Qiara realized that she needed extra hard work to be able to appear at an event as big and important as this too. 

Not long after, the host greeted the audience in the studio and at home. She introduced Qiara to the audience and congratulated her on her success as a newcomer and winner of the Noble trophy for the second best actor category.

"Thank you!". Qiara said while blushing, but she didn't forget to put a smile on her red lips.

"Miss Liana, can you tell us about what motivates you so far?". Asked the emcee. 

Qiara was silent because she was confused about what to answer, but an idea suddenly appeared in her mind. 

"Actually, I've experienced the same thing as this second character". Qiara said with a sweet smile.

"What do you mean, the character you play? Isn't here she playing a delinquent woman who lives in the wild? Is it possible that a girl as beautiful as you ever lived like that?".

"Yes, I have a difficult time like this second character. Maybe you have never heard the real story of my life. How I grew up as Liana now is something I keep secret. Not many understand who I am in the real world". Qiara replied again, widened her smile. 

"Then, can you tell us a little? We are curious and maybe everyone also wants to know". The host said. 

"Should?". Qiara asked with a seductive smile. 

"Come on!". Urged the emcee. 

Before starting to tell stories, Qiara wanted to make sure that the audience was also curious about the story. And she was surprised to find the audience staring at her silently with a curious look.

The reporters also fell silent because they didn't want to miss the exciting story of this recently famous artist.
