Chapter 508 - Suddenly Restless

"Maybe that's just your feeling". Aurel said casually.

Qiara couldn't calm down because her feelings were really bad, especially now that it was night and she should have been home accompanying Zio.

Just then, her cell phone rang and it was from Liu.

"I'll pick up the phone first!". Qiara said while showing her cellphone. 

"Okay". Aurel nodded without questioning who called her.

After that Qiara immediately shifted the green icon on her cellphone with a little trembling. 

"Hello...". Qiara said first in a low voice.

"Mrs... Zio cried a lot after he woke up from sleep". Liu said in an anxious voice.

Qiara's expression turned panicked, she just understood that her anxiety as a mother is a sign that there is something wrong with her child, that's what Qiara thinks.

"Can he not be silent? Or call his Papa so he can be more calm, usually he will calm down quickly when he hears his father's voice. Meanwhile, I'll be home soon". Qiara grew more and more agitated and trembled because her heart was twice as anxious as before.

"I have done it, Mrs. But, his number is not active".

Qiara is even more worried because Julian doesn't usually turn off the numbers at night before he goes home. 

"Then, please take care of Zio! I'll try to contact his assistant". After that, Qiara ended her conversation with Liu.

After that, Qiara made a call to Andi to ask where Julian was.

"Hello! Is there anything I can help you with?". Andi's voice was heard from across the phone after the call was connected.

"Mr. Andi, where is your boss?". Asked Qiara, who was forced to say the word boss rather than husband because she didn't want Aurel to hear it.

"The boss has been out since this afternoon after I reported something to him. But, he did not tell me where he went". Andi replied.

Qiara is silent, this is very strange because Julian usually goes everywhere with Andi. 

"Mr. Andi, can I know what you reported to him". Asked Qiara who began to be suspicious.

Andi was silent because his boss told him not to tell anyone about it.

"Please be honest with me!". Qiara began to press.

"Sorry Mrs! I can't tell you because the boss asked me to keep it a secret". Andi persists in not telling Qiara because he is a loyal assistant and only obeys his boss, Julian.

Qiara is very upset, but she can't force her because she also knows how loyal Andi is to Julian.

Without saying anything to Andi, Qiara ended the call unilaterally. After that she immediately returned to see Aurel.

"I'm sorry, it seems I have to go home now because something bad happened at home". Qiara said in a panic as well as worried that Aurel would not let her go.

"Oh ... Let's just go home together because Mr. Kevin said he didn't come home, I just finished talking to him".

Qiara was relieved that she didn't need to beg or lie any further to Aurel.

"Do you need my help?". Aurel asked when she saw Qiara's worried face.

"Thanks, but I can finish it myself. Then, I'll go ahead!". After saying that Qiara immediately ran outside without waiting for what Aurel to say.

Throughout the trip, Qiara kept making calls to Julian's number. But, it's still inactive. 

"What's all this? Why can't Julian be contacted? Is he in trouble?". Inner Qiara stared confusedly at her cellphone. 

Not long after that, she made a call to Jasmin because she thought Julian was with her.

However, Jasmin didn't pick up the call either. 

The only thing Qiara could think of was Julian's family home.

"Is it possible that Julian is at Papa and Mama's house? Should I look for him there? But, Mama doesn't know about me yet, maybe she will be surprised when she sees me coming and suddenly looks for Julian". Qiara is constantly at war with her thoughts because she is so worried about Julian.

At first she asked the taxi driver to take her to Julian's family home. However, she immediately gave up her mind as she remembered that Zio needed her the most.

Not long after that, Qiara arrived at Julian's house. She immediately got off the taxi in a hurry.

"Liu ...". Qiara shouted for Liu after she opened the door.

Not getting an answer, Qiara immediately ran to Zio's room. 

"Zio ...". Qiara did not continue her words when she saw that Zio had fallen asleep again and was accompanied by Liu.

Seeing Qiara's arrival, Liu immediately got out of Zio's bed. She then walked over to Qiara, who was still standing at the door.

"Zio has slept again after being tired of crying". Liu said politely.

"Thank you!". Qiara was relieved and did not forget to say her thanks to Liu for accompanying her son.

"Then, I will go out now".

"Yes".

After that, Liu walked out of Zio's room. Meanwhile Qiara walked over to the bed. She put her small bag on the table near the bed, after that she sat on the side, staring sadly at Zio's face.

"Honey ... Why are you crying? What's wrong with you? You are a strong child and rarely cry. But, today Mama saw your tears have wet your cheeks. What's wrong, dear?". Qiara wiped the remaining tears on Zio's cheeks gently.

Qiara's heart ached to see her son shed tears. Because as far as Zio knows, she won't cry if it's something trivial. 

Having been satisfied watching Zio's handsome face, Qiara left his room with the intention of checking out Julian's study. Who knows Julian fell asleep there, Qiara thought.

Qiara opened the study door slowly, after which she stepped into the seat that Julian used to occupy.

Qiara looked in all directions to pay attention to every detail of the room because all this time she had only entered without paying attention to every corner of the study.

Qiara stopped right in front of the bookshelf which was quite high and filled with various titles of colorful books neatly arranged.
