Chapter 522 - Witnessed Julian's Destruction

At that moment, Clara fell silent.

This time, Clara couldn't hold back her tears anymore because her feelings really hurt to hear Nathan's confession that just came out without thinking about her feelings that would be hurt. 

"You are evil Nathan! Don't you realize that I am also a woman? I am just like your mother. If you hurt me it means you hurt your mother too". Clara said while shedding more tears. 

Nathan smiled sarcastically at Clara, after which he grabbed Clara's cheek hard enough that Clara felt pain.

"Nathan... What are you doing?". Clara asked with difficulty while holding Nathan's hand which was clutching her cheek.

Seeing Clara's expression, who was enduring pain, Nathan smiled sarcastically because he didn't have the slightest pity for Clara. 

"I don't like you equating yourself with my Mother, because she and you are like the earth and the sky. She is an angel while you are just a selfish temptress. In order to achieve your desire to have me, you are willing to sell your body. How could you dare to equate yourself with my Mother?". Nathan shouted with a terrible look.

Clara was shocked and frightened by Nathan's screams and horrific expression. She couldn't believe that the gentle Nathan she knew actually had such a terrible side. 

Right at that moment, Nathan's cell phone rang, at that moment Nathan immediately let Clara go. He got out of bed and immediately reached for his cellphone which was on the small table beside his bed. 

Seeing the caller ID, Nathan immediately left the room because he didn't want Clara to hear the conversation.

Clara becomes irritated and filled with anger, the person who made her jealous is dead but continues to haunt her. And now she had to see for herself who Nathan really was. 

"Is he really Nathan?". Clara thought while holding her cheek which still hurt. 

After she finished crying, Clara immediately got out of bed and walked slowly towards the bathroom.

Nathan's office.

Meanwhile, Nathan had arrived at his room. He sat in his chair while making a call back to the person who had called him. 

"Hello boss! We've done it!". There was an excited voice on the other end of the phone after the call was connected.

Nathan smiled hearing the report from his subordinates, he had been waiting since last night. 

"Then tell my Secretary not to touch the wineries in Paris. Let Maxwell have them and keep fighting Julian". Exclaimed Nathan firmly.

"Okay boss. Oh yeah, Mr. Virsen wants to meet you! He wants to receive the payment straight from your hands".

Nathan smiled again when he heard the second report from his subordinates.

"It's not that easy to meet me! And I haven't had time to introduce myself as chairman. Wait until Julian is completely crushed and my Papa will apologize to me!". Nathan thought with a sly smile.

"Tell him I'm in America! And thank you for helping me mess up Julian's life by uncovering that tragic past!". Nathan said.

"Okay boss! I'll pass it on, and I'll give him the check that the boss has signed!"

"Okay". After that Nathan hung up the call.

"Looks like it would be nice to see Julian fall down, he will be hostile to Papa and at the same time he will lose his wife he loves because Maxwell will not let Julian have what he should have". Nathan thought.

Thinking of Julian's demise made Nathan's heart burn violently.

He had held back his anger for a long time because he was never considered by his father for always being the better and number one Julian. Now he wanted to show that he was better than Julian.

His anger peaks when he is sent abroad and forced to part with the woman he loves.

Through illicit trade, Nathan forms a powerful organization to accumulate wealth and close it all by building a multinational company. He uses a pseudonym to trick everyone. 

After that, Nathan rushed out of his house because he wanted to see for himself the chaos in his parents' house after Maxwell took that terrible act.

Julian's Family Home. 

After leaving his house, Julian immediately came to the house of his extended family to talk to Mr. Joseph. There were so many questions on his mind that he had to ask his father directly. 

Just as he was about to get out of the car, his cell phone rang and it was Andi. 

"Hello?". Julian said after sliding the green icon on his cellphone.

"Finally, Boss picked up my call too!". Andi breathed a sigh of relief because he had been very anxious since yesterday. 

"What is wrong?". asked Julian in a cynical voice. 

"Yesterday your wife called me. But, I don't know where you are. Your number is also not active and there are no clues. Your wife looks worried from the tone of her voice". Obviously Andy. 

Julian was silent for a moment, he could imagine how panicked and confused Qiara was. 

"For the time being you take care of all the work in the office because I can't come to the office for now! Make sure everything goes smoothly!". Julian said after a long silence.

"But today Boss there is a meeting with all the board of directors regarding the decline in JJ Group shares!".

Julian was surprised to hear Andi's report, how could JJ Group's shares decline? He still remembered that yesterday everything was fine. 

"How is it possible that JJ Group's shares can go down?". asked Julian.

"It all happened overnight, everyone was shocked when early in the morning the news about the business reported that JJ Group's shares were declining. The news made all the board of directors and shareholders panic. I thought the news I got last night was just a dream until the news came out" . Obviously Andy. 

"Okay, I'll be at the office in two hours!"

"Okay boss!".

After that Julian ended the call with complicated feelings. He was confused by how fast it happened.. How could the JJ Group's stock so high could go down overnight.
