Chapter 523 - Lying Again!

"How did this happen? Maybe I don't care if JJ Group goes bankrupt, but I can't ignore the fate of thousands of employees who depend on JJ Group for their lives. I have to find out the point of the problem! But, I have to solve my problem first with Papa!". Julian thought as he clenched his fists. 

After thinking, Julian caught his breath because he felt very tired. One problem has not been solved yet another problem has come. 

And the most serious problem for Julian right now was his problem with Qiara.

Maybe if he and Qiara were fine, then all the heavy troubles would be light. However, having trouble with Qiara at a time like this made him weak and demoralized.

Julian finally got out of his car and was feeling much better and ready to face his father. 

"Julian?" Sarah is surprised to see Julian come to the house in a bad appearance. 

His face was pale, his shirt was covered in blood and he looked very dirty. 

"What's the matter with you, honey?" Sarah asked while touching his face who had been silent for a long time staring at her.

Sarah's eyes started to turn red, she knew that Julian was having a problem because she had never seen Julian look this bad.

Sarah was even more surprised when she saw the blood stains on his shirt.

Julian was still silent with a blank stare, he tried not to cry in front of his mother even though he wanted to tell his mother the truth. 

"Why are there bloodstains on your shirt? Have you fought someone? Why are you just standing still?". Sarah asked while crying because she couldn't hold back her tears anymore. 

As a mother, she always makes sure that her children are well. Therefore, her heart broke when she saw her son's poor looking state.

"Mama, don't cry! I'm fine! I'm here to meet Dad. Is he home?". said Julian as he wiped the tears from his mother's cheeks.

"Your papa hasn't come home since yesterday, according to his secretary he is on a business trip". Sarah answered in a weak voice. 

Julian took a deep breath because he knew that his Papa was lying to his Mama again. He clenched his fists because he couldn't stand his father's behavior anymore.

"Okay then, I'm going home now". Julian said.

"Why do you have to go home early? At least you clean yourself here first. Or eat with Mama!". Sarah said hopefully.

Sarah had not seen Julian in a long time, therefore she wanted to enjoy being with him even if only for a moment. 

"I'm sorry Mama! I have to go because I have important business to attend to. I promise I will come here with Zio and I will bring one more person to Mama's presence later". said Julian reassuring his mother not to try to hold him back. 

"You're not lying, are you? Mama is lonely here, Jasmin has left, Nathan has rarely visited since he got married. So, you and Zio are the only ones I can expect to visit every day. Or you can stay here with Mama". Sarah was crying again because she was really sad. 

All this time, she lived in a luxurious house alone. Her husband rarely comes home and the children already have a life of their own. Therefore she felt that she had lost the joy and warmth of her old age. 

"I promise! After all my business is done I will come". Julian hugged his mother tightly. He hoped it would all be over soon so he could tell his mother that he and Qiara were back together.

After that Sarah let Julian go even though her feelings were still heavy. 

Just as Julian's car pulled out of the gate.

While Nathan stopped his car when he saw Julian, Nathan immediately made a call to his mother's number to find out what had happened. 

"Hello dear?". Sarah's voice was heard from the other end of the phone after the call was connected. 

"Hello Mama. Are Papa and Julian home?".

"Papa is on a business trip as well as carrying out his duties as a minister. As for Julian, he has just left the house. What's wrong dear?" Sarah answered.

"Nothing Mama! I'm closing now! I love you Mama!". After that Nathan ended the call because he had to follow where Julian went.

Because Nathan was sure that Julian must be looking for his father.

At the same time, Virsen and Viona were sitting enjoying their drinks in Viona's room. 

"Maxwell is really crazy, he's already dared to use his gun. I'm not going to stand still!". Viona said while shaking her glass with a sharp gaze.

"You don't seem to know that madman, he's so terrible that's why we have to be careful if we want revenge". Virsen said with a sly smile.

"Ahhh ... I almost went crazy, I haven't finished with Julian and Qiara, now I have to deal with that crazy Maxwell". Viona shouted as she threw her drinking glass. 

Virsen was surprised but did not show much reaction because he also knew that Viona can sometimes turn reckless and terrible like Maxwell.

Just then, Virsen's cell phone rang and it was from someone who was paid to look up some important information. 

"Who?". Viona asked suspiciously.

"Someone who will take me to the place where the people I love are. It's time I think about my heart and not take care of the tiring things all the time". After saying that, Virsen stood up while sliding the green icon on his cell phone.

"Hello?".

"Hello boss, we've managed to find out where Reina is". Said the person on the other end of the phone.

"Where is she?". Virsen asked impatiently.

"She is on vacation on Jeju island with her assistant".

"Good job! Then I will send the rest of your payment after I meet her".

"Okay, boss!".

After that, Virsen ended his conversation with a smile.

Viona frowned seeing Virsen looking very happy.

"Where are you going?". Viona asked sarcastically. 

"I'm going on vacation to Jeju island. I'm sick of being here, therefore I need to calm myself down there. If you want to come, please!". replied Virsen. 

Viona smirked at Virsen, she couldn't have a vacation at a crucial time like this.. Moreover, her job as director of Flory Palace required her to work seriously.
