Chapter 165 - 165: One Of The Witches' Weaknesses

Along the way to the campus, Roy couldn't get rid of the prediction that Halora shared with him earlier. He never believed that sometimes, a person could predict what will happen next in the future.

But this time around, he felt that it was all true! And any moment from now, a terrible thing is about to happen.

From a far, he saw students walked into the campus with friends. It seemed to be normal like it was used to, the sound of the motorcycles, cars and other vehicles that was usually used by the students.

He sighed, caressed his temple and tried not to think of it once again. "Should I tell Sebastian about this?" he murmured, looked at the mirror as he parked the car at his usual spot.

Roy finally parked the car perfectly and smoothly. He quickly took out his phone from his pocket, dialed Sebastian's number but it couldn't be reached.

He abruptly hit the steering wheel, breathing hard as he eagerly wanted to tell him what was going on.

"Damn it! He probably turned off his phone!"

Furiously, he opened the door and went out from the car. He pressed a red button that locked all the windows of the car and kept it in his pocket.

"Huh, what a strange day!" he murmured as the sky suddenly covered with darkness.

For a second, he stood in the middle of the darkness. While students around him panicked as they thought a heavy rain was about to happen.

"I thought it would be sunny today!" spoke one of the students who walked by behind Roy.

"It's gonna rain badly again. Huh, I hate it now!"

Roy turned around, looked throughout the rooms, hallways that we're filled with hundreds of students who escaped from the cold, disturbing rain.

However, the moment he blinked his eyes, a sparrow suddenly fell into the ground in front of him.

It startled him to death as it looked fine and unscathed. Roy walked closer to the poor sparrow, stared at it for a second.

Its eyes was wide open that completely caught his attention. "If it's wounded, there must be blood flowing from its body! But how come that there's nothing wrong happened to this sparrow!"

It confused him until he saw few of the students gathered from a distance. Out of curiosity, he quickly ran into the commotion and he was right, two sparrows were found dead at the same time.

As the number of dead sparrows fell inside of the campus continuously, Roy tried to catch a glimpse of Sebastian around but he failed.

He cursed angrily until hundreds of dead sparrows dropped from nowhere that frightened of all the students who loitered outside of their rooms.

As quick as it must be, the school personnel hurriedly made an announcement that everyone should stay in their rooms and never go outside without valid reason.

Students who heard it ran quickly, but it caused a lot of trouble for the few who slipped, fell into the ground, and rolled out because of eagerness to save themselves.

"What the hell is going on?" he said, running quickly to one of the nearest rooms but as soon as he reached it, no one dared to open the door as they were all afraid to death.

He kicked off the ground in despair, pulled his hair until someone grabbed his arm and brought him to one of the better, safest place at the moment.

"I've been looking for you," said Roy with bitterness on his voice. He didn't want to question his whereabouts but something had caught his interest.

The young man in front of him walked back and forth, thinking how to protect everyone from the danger that awaits.

"Witches are coming to get something they need! After all this time, they lived in secrecy and I can't blame anyone who set them free instead of killing them all before!" said Sebastian.

He frowned, narrowed his eyes like a hawk that waited for its prey to come. He knew and sensed that witches were on their way to attack the entire school.

"If you want to help us, use this sword and never let the blade cut you."

"And right now, you have to decide." spoke Daniel who stood from behind and he held a shining sword that he never seen through his naked eyes before.

It took a couple of minutes before he jumped into a jaw-dropping decision. One, became two, two became hundreds, and hundreds became thousands.

The number of dead sparrows that fell from the sky disturbed, frightened of everyone and even some of them collapsed in fear.

He couldn't either bear to watch them suffer, asked for help while they were being abandoned by their classmates, even of their friends.

Brave and courageously, with a blood of vampire that bestowed into his veins, Roy glanced up at Sebastian who were fascinated by the glowing color of his eyes.

He only knew one creature that have such beautiful, jaw– dropping eyes. "A... v– vampire's eyes!" Sebastian whispered into the cold wind.

"We have not enough time! Hurry up and in one, two three–"

Under a thick, well-ventilated room, The three of them was protected but they aimed to save the students and school personnel who stumbled upon and afraid to save themselves alone.

Daniel shouted at Roy as they looked at each other and saw a great number of witches who appeared out of nowhere.

The entire campus filled with a loud, horrifying laughter that almost paralyzed everyone's body. In every room, they hid, ducked into the floor and shut their mouths while others screamed that gave the witches the opportunity to hurt all of them.

"G*ddamn it! I thought she's just fooling me around!" Roy said in a hollow voice. He sighed, held the sword with courage and he asked Sebastian, "What is your plan? They are too many and they possess magical powers!"

Sebastian knew their weaknesses and with all the strength that left in his body, he gritted his teeth, looked at the evil witches who floated to the air with their broomsticks.

"We have to kill all of them through our weapons." Sebastian put poison into the blade that one of the witches' weaknesses.. "Before they kill us all."
