Chapter 179 - 179: A Forehead Kiss

A loud, thumping sound filled around the living area as two hearts beat as one. After a long, long time of searching, they had finally found each other. Despite the danger that awaited, they both took the risk and gave it a try.

In a middle of a romantic situation, Sebastian moved his right hand to the upper right side of her back. He wasn't sure what it was but he felt a strong connection that flowed into his viens.

He groaned, slowly let go of her as he felt uncomfortable. "E–excuse me, I need to go to the washroom."

"A– alright! I'll just go upstairs and take a quick shower too!" she said as soon as she realized that she smelled like a rotten fruit.

With a short smile, Sebastian went to the washroom found at the end of the hallway, in front of a storage room.

As soon as he opened the door, he stumbled upon and leaned over to the sink. He looked at his reflection as he quickly turned on the faucet and splashed some water to his face.

He looked exhausted, shocked because of the speculation that suddenly came to his mind.

"I– it's her! It's truly t– the one!" he murmured, wiped off his face by his hands but nothing changed as he tried it harder.

Sebastian splashed more water as it cooled down his system. He wasn't sure what it is the thing on Halora's back but he was hundred percent sure that she possessed the beast's mark.

"Huh! Huh! I can't believe I finally found her! And this time around, I am certain that she will be the mother of our children!"

A strong, certain feeling brought excitement and hope. He never thought that a poor, bullied young girl will be his destined mate.

After a couple of minutes staying inside of a confined yet cold room, he put up himself, combed his hair with his fingers.

He quickly fixed his uniform, took a deep, long breath and stared at the mirror for a second. "I need to go back before she thinks of something else."

Even how hard he tried to set aside the excitement, there was no way to ignore it. And before he glorified, he should have at least a proof that will be shown to his ill grandfather.

"Ohh holy cr*p! It's almost nine!" he cursed as soon as he noticed the time. He must leave before his father began to panic all over again.

He then went out the washroom and walked back into the living area yet, there was no trace of Halora.

He has no choice but to go upstairs and check what she was doing at. But before he knock on the door, he sighed, gritted his teeth that flexed his perfect jawline.

"H– Halora? Are you there?" he asked, after he knocked once. Still, no one answered as he speculated that she was still in the bathroom.

With doubt and shame, Sebastian pushed the door slowly and realized that Halora didn't lock the door before she took a quick shower.

He shook his head in disbelief, until he angrily banged it until a young woman covered with a single white towel welcomed him.

She was dancing, with a messy, wet hair and her flawless legs was shown that made him gulped and froze at the moment.

Without a blink of an eye, Sebastian didn't look at somewhere else as he finally got the chance to confirm it. Silently, he stepped backward, scooped up his phone from his pocket and he quickly took pictures of her back.

It was a clear, perfect shot and before she could notice him, he hurriedly walked back, closed the door and ran to the living area with a heavy breath.

He seated, crossed his legs and dialed Greg's number. Without any alibis, he requested to go over and fetch him at Halora's place.

On the other line, Greg noticed that the young master's voice suddenly became strange. He knew him but instead of digging up deeply the ground, he agreed and ran to the garage as quick as he could.

"Grandpa will be surprised if he will see this evidence!" he whispered to the cold wind while Halora has no idea of what was happening around her.

For a couple of minutes, Sebastian waited for Greg and Halora. He suddenly felt emptiness in his stomach but he was eager to leave the place and send the good news directly to Lord Solomon.

Before his patience replaced with annoyance, fortunately, Halora went downstairs with a fresh look. Her long, ginger-red hair shone and her natural beauty complemented to her personality.

She scoffed, looked at his back from the stairs and she said, "Are you hungry? If you can still stay for a little bit longer, I'll cook for you, Sebastian!"

He stood, turned around and looked at her innocent face. Sebastian wanted to grab her waist for the second time but he chose not to. He must leave before the beast within dominate his body and take her for granted.

Sebastian chuckled embarrassingly, stooped to her and he replied, "Even I want to stay and join you tonight but I need to visit Grandpa. For sure he's waiting for me right now, I hope you'll understand."

"O– of course, I do! B– but, who will fetch you then? I haven't seen Greg from my room yet!"

"Don't worry, he's on the way and while waiting, why don't you cook. Isn't a good idea?"

Halora came back to her senses when she heard it from him. She smiled over her shoulder, ran closer to him as the sleep wear she used was thin and see-through.

He even noticed the color of her upper undergarment that made his cheeks scarlet. He swallowed greedily, looked away from her chest but everytime she moved, his eyes would always stuck on it.

"Follow me then! We will know if he's outside since the windows are wide open!"

Embarrassed and aroused by her innocence, he smiled bitterly, rubbed his nape as he followed the young girl with an epic reaction.

"Ohh please, stop this provoking feeling!" he thought.

As he walked throughout the peaceful place, they heard a loud sound from the outside. They thought it was Greg but it passed through the way.

"Come on! He'll be right here soon but before you leave, take a seat and watch me while I'm cooking for dinner!"

Because of Sebastian, Halora's confidence grown into a good way. She knew how to fool around, laugh loudly with others as she never did before.

She was too afraid, conscious of every little thing in her creative mind. And since she met him, she had learned a lot that being happy was never be a selfish decision.

Right at the moment, he seated at one of the chairs while Halora took everything she needed. She thought of a simple yet classic recipe for dinner even though she wasn't sure if he could taste it.

As fast as she could, she chopped all the ingredients needed, boiled the thin strips pasta while she made a meat sauce.

She looked like a professional chef that stunned Sebastian. He giggled, caressed his chin as she looked still calm and confident.

"You'll gonna love this thing when you taste it!" she exclaimed.

"Really? Can I taste the sauce then?"

Halora shook her head but before she went to him with a spoon filled with sauce, she sprinkled a pinch of black pepper and salt.

With a deep, sharp stare, he sipped all of it, savored the spicy yet sweet taste that complemented everything.

He sighed, widened his eyes that frightened of Halora. She thought it wasn't perfect enough until he clapped his hands so loud and gave her a thumbs up.

"It's perfect! Everything is perfect, Halora!"

"A– are you telling me the truth? Or you're just fooling me around?"

Sebastian walked into the electronic stove as he turned it off. He took the pasta from the strainer, put into a bowl and spilled over the meat sauce on top.

"I don't have any idea where you learned this recipe but to tell you honestly, this is one of my favorites, Halora."

For a second, her heart stopped pounding, her knees turned weak as she almost stumble.

But she didn't want to embarrass herself again. She bravely stood firm, smiled at him genuinely without a trace of doubt, "I just read it somewhere when I first visited the school's library."

"Perhaps we read the same book. As far as I remember, only one school have it in the library while the original one is mine."

It shocked her to death, but a sound of an engine interrupted their conversation.

Halora, who stood near at the window, hurriedly looked at it and she saw Greg at the main entrance.

She suddenly felt dismayed by the truth that he needed to get back home because of his ill grandfather.

"He's outside, waiting for you." she murmured, walked into the cupboard and took container from it.

Sebastian looked at her confusingly but he waited until she finished it. "J– just in case you want to try it again, I packed some of it for you."

It was hard to leave, nor to say goodbye but he needed to. Before he turn around, and just simple walk away.. Sebastian stooped and kissed her on the forehead that soothed her soul and took away the fear she had felt.
