Chapter 252 - 252: World Full Of Hopes And Dreams

~ Two hours before Sebastian arrived at the black forest ~

"I know what she meant to say, Sebastian." spoke Lord Solomon weakly.

His boy was weak to fight with anyone anymore. He looked too thin, lifeless as he couldn't even stand on his own.

"She must be referring to the moon, am I right Stevenson?"

"Y-yes, father! It must be, in my own perspective!" Stevenson replied stutteringly.

He took a deep breath, glanced up at the young alpha who remained calm despite the danger that is coming.

"She's telling you that moon will be our clue to protect Halora from her evil Aunt," he paused, breathed heavily for a second. "I can't believe she will be our savior after everything I've done to her."

"That's not our problem right now, father! That young girl is a witch and you only protected this family from extinction!"

Stevenson couldn't forget the day he talked with Queen Herathesia before the bloody war against her younger sister.

As clear as the water, the memory of her stayed in his mind that no one could ever steal it away.

He gasped, calmed himself as there was other things to be considered before they lose someone again.

"I can't stand right here while my son is in danger. I will do everything to protect you and our family no matter what happens." he murmured that shocked Lord Solomon and Sebastian.

All along, Sebastian thought that his father only after with wealth, power and life-long connection. He never knew his real intentions in putting them into the second priority and was blinded with anger.

He gulped, looked into his father's glinting eyes. "It's been a long time since he saw those eyes." he thought.

"I have to do something behind your back, Sebastian."

"Before you were born, I promised to your mother that I will protect you from anything. After a long time of being a businessman, I am willing to take the risk for you- for all of us."

By then, the young alpha has no choice but to trust his father's decision. He knew it would be dangerous to save his friends by himself and a back-up is the only thing he needed.

After a long silence, Lord Solomon reached for Sebastian's warm hands. He breathed heavily, memorizing every detail of him.

The old man knew that those good, old days has gone by now. The real war between creatures has begun and may the best warrior win.

After all this chaos, a new world will shine. With no cruelty, abusive people who degraded anyone around him.

He said, "I can't guarantee your safety, but I am counting on you and your father."

"But before you leave, remember to use your abilities when it's needed. Never let your emotions devour your sanity or you will be failed to protect and save your friends, your family and…"

Inside of a wide room, the three of them held their breaths as they waited for his last words.

They knew who it was, but no one dared to say it except the old man who seemed calm.

"And Halora." Lord Solomon finally said it.

Sebastian closed his fists every time he thought of it. If Seth didn't get into his way, he should have spoke to Halora when she woke up.

However, as he knew what the witch meant to say before her death, it would be a big help for all of them.

If Damara and her new adherents planned to attack the entire city during new moon, the entire surroundings would be covered with darkness.

Thus, if they attack Halora, it would be easy to catch the enemy because of the authorities who surveyed around the area.

"If Damara will attack behind our back, then we must prepare ourselves while Halora is recovering! We can't let her fight with her current condition."

"You're right, father."

Sebastian looked into somewhere distant as he couldn't wait to see Halora again. He's been missing her bright smile, cold touch that calmed his system effortlessly.

His blue eyes glinted as the entire room filled with bright light that gave hope and strength to each and everyone.

He gasped, squeezed the old man's hands tightly. He said, "I have to go, father, grandpa. Our goal is to save my friends and reveal their identity and to protect Halora- the world's future."

"I am praying for your safe come back, Sebastian. I know you and Halora are meant to be I each other's arms even the world tries to set you apart."

A short smile plastered on his lips as he shook his head and listened carefully to Lord Solomon.

It was a soothing feeling when his family has finally widened their perspectives and trusted Halora than any witches.

It wasn't easy for but they must do everything before it's too late.

"I am going to crash every witch when the right time comes." Sebastian whispered eagerly.

At that moment, Sebastian left the werewolves hideaway with a lot of beasts behind with him. However, they planned to disguise themselves until they received a signal from the young alpha.

In front of his adherents, Sebastian and Stevenson stood firmly and showed resilience and eagerness. All of them stayed silent while they prepared themselves for a battle.

It was no ordinary and it was better to ne equipped than to have nothing from behind.

And Sebastian has speculations that Seth and his friends kept a secret for many years. He should be prepared before the enemy slayed them first.

"Tonight, we will save my friends who were all werewolves just like us. They came from noble family without knowing the truth behind. I am not in the right position to disseminate information about them."

"But I am warning you, our enemy is not a human. He probably did something to possess the same strength and abilities just like what we have."

Sebastian looked at them coldly and determination showed on his face.

"There's only two paths we should take, either to the world full of hopes and dreams or to the path with nothing but darkness and hell."

Stevenson laid his eyes on his son who grown up too fast. "You will succeed on everything, Sebastian. I am confident with that.." he murmured as everyone bowed and agreed to the young alpha's decisions.
