Chapter 253 - 253: Behind Our Back

Sebastian wore enough weapons that would support his ability during unexpected combat. He must be prepared whether the enemies used violence or not.

With enough knowledge how to use it, he hid it underneath away from the opponents' sight.

It maybe a bloody battle the main goal is to save his friends, reveal their identities and protect Halora until the very end.

As soon as everything was done, Sebastian looked into the faces of his allies with out fear and hesitations.

"Death is always behind us. But we have the power to live as long as we are eager to fight!"

"Yes, Young Master!"

Everyone was ready to attack the enemy while the night became too darker and dimmer.

Right then, Sebastian glanced up at above the sky and breathed heavily for one last time.

"Commence!"

Screams echoed around that took away the peaceful living of birds and other small preys. They quickly flew away to save their lives before it was too late.

Based on the plan, the young alpha would go to the black forest by himself. But once he arrived, his men would hide behind those gigantic trees.

While Sebastian walked into the horrifying ground of black forest, a terrifying feeling tried to drown his sanity.

It was a heavy feeling that blocked his feet to move around, as if it knew the best thing to do.

However, his mission was completely clear. If he would stop in the middle of nowhere, the chance of redeeming his friends would be low.

"I must continue digging up the forest!" he murmured as the cold, strange wind touched on his skin.

Sebastian slowly opened his eyes and the only thing he saw was darkness. The trees were surrounded with wild living things that has been lurking within for so long.

On his left side, there was a group of trees that seemed normal, however, on the opposite side, there was only a few of trees.

"They are hiding somewhere behind my back right now. Seth is no ordinary enemy and he must have prepared something to kill me."

He gasped, listened to the enchanting sound of the forest. If he wasn't mistaken, Halora's house was built nearby without valid reasons.

It surprised him until now yet, he couldn't still grasp the truth behind these mysteries that embraced him.

Without a blink of an eye, a ball of fire fell into the ground that burnt a lot of trees. Sebastian quickly lowered his head as he protected himself from burning.

Surprisingly, he shook his head in disbelief. "They attacked too early without waiting for my arrival!"

Sebastian remained still despite the danger before his eyes. The sight of a glowing ball blew his system after a long time of living peacefully.

"But…" he paused.

"The path to the enemies' hideout!"

Finally, it was not a signal of an attack. The real motive was to light up the entire forest as it would be easy for him to find Seth on time.

Before he stood, he narrowed his eyes as he looked at the direction before his eyes. It would be a suicide if he would take the enemies' challenge.

If they were smart, then he's wiser than everyone. "It's time to warn my men." he whispered.

Until a loud roar almost drifted away the trees and animals. It was a strong, horrible scream that ever heard in the forest after how many years.

"I shouldn't have underestimated you, Seth! I know you are no longer a human!"

A warrior must always be ready and knew every plan if one or two failed. After a long time of being a werewolf, Sebastian learned every single thing to bring the enemies' guard down.

And on that night, he discovered Seth's real intentions but killing an alpha would be difficult for an ordinary werewolf.

Thus, even he knew what Seth did before he kidnapped the lucky nine, there was one thing that bothered him.

He didn't know what it was, but the young alpha prepared himself for the worst.

As calm as the sky, he said, "My speculations were true."

Before him, thirty-one men scattered throughout the wide field. It was a perfect hideout as it was surrounded with trees, a protection from enemies.

To the left side, there were ten armed men laughing and drinking alcohol while on the right side, fifteen men loitering around the area and the rest were guarding the captives.

Sebastian closed his fists when he caught a glimpse of Daniel's bleeding face. He couldn't forgive Seth and his men for beating them up.

His eyes glinted when he saw Andy, Robbe, Yong, the twins, Gray, Stryker and Dylan suffering from great pain.

It was such a heartbreaking sight but he could no longer endure it anymore. "I will let you suffer, Seth! You will be in vain just like how you hurt my friends!"

And at that moment, he looked behind and gave signals to his men that transformed and followed him secretly.

The dark sky was a big help to make his mission successful as what it should be.

"Capture anyone and as long as you can, never kill someone tonight. Do you understand?"

"Aye, Master!"

Sebastian believed that violence was not the only way to surpass a meaningful battle. This time, he would use the power of humanity before it vanished from his body.

He gulped, stared at Seth and Daren who seemed arguing. "It's time to break his arms and legs." he said as his men quickly attacked the enemies behind their back.

Before they realized his plans, Sebastian slowly walked forward while men on the left side were captured successfully.

But he remained calm, cold as ever until his men seized everyone on the right side.

He said coldly, "I knew it would be a successful attack."

Unknowingly, the men on the front line saw Sebastian's shadow.

"SEBASTIAN WOO IS COMING!"

"HE'S COMING!"

Seth and Daren were startled when they heard those words that sounded around the forest.

However, when they both looked around, there was no one around and even Sebastian suddenly disappeared.

"That bastard fooled us again! All along, he's been attacking behind our back!" Seth angrily muttered.
