Damara burst into laughter, looking at the defenseless alpha. She never thought Halora would fall into a trap easily.
If she succeeded of killing Sebastian, it would be a certain victory and Halora would be an honest slave. She could use her power to rule the human race and reclaim her promising title.
"It's a sad scene seeing you that way, Sebastian. Who would have thought that you were the young alpha who saved my dearest nephew from hell?"
She took off the hood of a black cloak, took a deep breath for seconds. Her dark, mysterious eyes laid on Sebastian who remained calm and still.
There was no sign of fear other than his usual cold expression. His blue glowing eyes reflected on Halora's eyes while she listened to Damara.
But she could no longer bear to see Sebastian being captured and tied with a dreadful chain. It was made up of pure, strong spell that could slash his flesh like a well-polished sword.
Halora took one step closer to him when Damara held her arm. It was all out of a sudden that skipped her heart a bit.
She sighed, blinked her eyes to fool the enemy around but Damara was quite smart and wise too.
"Don't dare to betray me, Young lady. You know I possess the ring of darkness." she whispered playfully.
"R-ring of d-da-darkness?" Halora stutteringly replied.
Deep in her mind, she wanted to burst into laughter for hearing such lies. She knew Damara lied to her about the powerful ring, thus she must reclaim the ring of heaven to defeat her completely.
Halora courageously looked into her eyes with a poker face. Because of all the things she surpassed, she became as stronger as it must be.
No one could ever save her from hell other than herself and in that case, no one would be put into danger.
"Don't underestimate a young woman like me, Damara. I am maybe a weak witch, but I am not naïve like what you've been thinking about me."
"Should I clap my hands for you? We both knew that werewolves are also a threat to our lives, Halora! That's the reason why you agreed to my plans."
As a vicious witch, Damara believed that all creatures around her were all threat to the witches' existence. Werewolves and vampires were the two most powerful creatures in the world and eliminating them successfully would be an advantage.
Her brows were raising as if she was an antagonist who loved chaos and violence.
But Halora suddenly laughed mischievously that surprised her honestly.
"And you're a threat for me either." Halora told her straightforward.
She then walked back and forth, watching how Damara gawked at her for a moment. Instead of being a weak, bullied girl like she used to, Halora swallowed everything and became a strong person.
All of the pain she felt, sleepless nights and crying by herself helped her to be a humble person, yet much stronger than before.
Her kindness didn't vanish from her heart as she believed, humanity would be shown to others when you are kind and humble without expecting something in return.
Halora slowly walked closer to the woman in black who looked at her like a menace. It was the very fist time she saw that kind of fear on Damara's furtive face.
Yet, she must act secretly behind Damara to slay her for everyone's sake. If she failed to complete her greatest mission, her friends, classmates, neighbors, and Sebastian would vanish from Earth.
And that was one of the reasons why she chose to fight rather than of giving up easily.
"You're quite blunt, Halora. I could say that you looked like your wicked, yet weak mother. She used to accuse me back then and, in the end, she ended up being assassinated."
Damara sighed heavily, "What a terrifying story, isn't it?"
"Because you have nothing to say, you used my mother's name in vain and expecting that it will make me angry. I am different now, Damara and if you truly possess the ring of darkness then what is it in my finger then?"
Suddenly, Halora lifted her left hand that showed the bright, captivating ring. It looked like a ring of darkness that has been kept for so long.
Damara held her breath back when she caught a glimpse of it. She knew after all this time, Herathesia gave the real ring to her daughter before her tragic death.
She laughed bitterly, while her adherents were all left dumbfounded and shaken.
"I-it's the real ring of darkness, My Queen! I… I thought you possessed it since we escaped from those ugly and fatty cops!"
Damara gritted her teeth as she quickly faced the witch who talked back. Her dark eyes glowed when she opened her mouth and took out her energy.
Halora secretly looked at Sebastian who shook his head in agreement. Through gestures and eye contact, both of them could understand each other.
"No! Please… please don't kill me, My Queen!" the witch begged for mercy but Damara angrily swallowed her soul like it was only a human's blood.
The rest of her followers remained calm despite fear and qualms. All of them knew that Damara were only using their strengths to reach her greatest aim.
And once she succeeded, she would turn her back on them like they didn't sacrifice their lives too.
"Huh! How dare you to ask me that question? I've warned you all before, but your loud, filthy mouth wouldn't listen!" Damara exclaimed furiously.
But when they turned their heads to the witch who was punished, they were speechless when they realized that she wasn't breathing anymore.
Her lips turned pale, her eyes were left wide open and the most scaring thing was the sight of a corpse's fossils after a couple of seconds after her death.
Damara said, "Once I've killed you, your flesh would be melted right away and the only thing that will be left is your fossil."
Fearlessly, Halora walked into the middle where the bones were located. She breathed deeply as she shook her head in grief.
"All of you witnessed her true color, would you still choose to stay her side or choose the right path where a queen who truly possessed the ring of darkness and will treat you equally?" she asked them randomly that awakened the monsters inside of Damara's body.
