~ Halora and Damara's agreement last night ~
After a successful operation, Halora rested at the hospital for a day until the wound healed quickly. Her friends knew that she must be home as soon as possible.
Through the help of Markus, he brought her back home without telling Sebastian.
However, when he left Halora sleeping and bought some fruits and vegetables from the mall, a sudden visitor appeared out of nowhere.
Inside of a wide, soothing room of Halora, the curtains were blown up by a cold wind. Yet, she remained asleep and snored too loudly.
And the windows were left unattended that gave the enemy an opportunity to sneak inside.
"You look like sleeping beauty, Halora." spoke Damara gracefully.
She wore a simple black, long dress that perfectly suited to her face. Her strong, appealing eyes, her pointed nose and thin, red lips were all fascinating like a goddess.
Despite her perfect beauty, there was an evil spirit that lived within her for how many years. And to make everything happen, she must possess the ring of heaven and darkness.
By then, she could effortlessly end the human race and let all the witches and wizards to be her slave and she will be held as the most indestructible queen of all times.
"Your room is too spacious for one person," she said, looking at the old photographs on the wall. "Aren't you going to welcome your aunt, are you?"
Damara spoke to herself while Halora cherished a peaceful, deep sleep.
She was simply snoring with no idea that an enemy has snuck inside through the window. Halora yawned, moved to the left and reached for her favorite pillows.
As cold as the surroundings, she quickly lifted her right leg upward and put one of the pillows consciously.
It stunned Damara who seemed lacked of sleeps. Her eyes seemed darker as she worked all day and night long with no rest at all.
Suddenly, as she noticed the flower vase filled with a lavender orchid, a bright smile flaunted on her lips.
She said, "I know you're awake, Halora. If you don't mind, would you give me a little time to talk to you about something?"
The wind remained cold as it is, the entire room became darker as if someone switched off the lights.
Until Halora spoke out of the blue, "I've been waiting for you, Damara. If you don't mind me too, would you take a seat first? You're giving me a headache!"
The young lady slowly stood out from the bed. She looked pale and weak, but her presence hasn't changed at all.
"Why are you here?" Halora asked her shortly.
She walked into the closet and picked the black jacket as she covered her cold body. Halora seated on the edge of the bed, waiting for her guest.
She sighed, crossed her legs at the moment of silence.
"I'm sorry, I didn't ask you what to drink."
"Don't bother, I know you're hiding poisonous tablets in the kitchen, am I right?"
Damara took a breath and finally seated in front of the young girl. It was a beautiful scene between two witches with different ambitions but has the same blood flowed into their veins.
She then looked up at the simple, plain ceiling and the light bulbs that gave light to the four corners of the room.
Until a wide, sarcastic smile flaunted on her face as she said, "I came here to make a peaceful treaty with you, Halora."
"Treaty? And you think I am going to agree with you?" Halora rolled her eyes on her.
Thinking deeply about it, Halora felt that there was something behind Damara's plan. If it was about killing her, then why would she make a treaty with her?
It was a big mystery for her, yet, she has no enough strength to fight her for now.
Halora took a breath and slowly stood up by herself. Her stomach was empty as it craved for pasta and pizza in the middle of the velvet night.
Any moment, Markus would arrive and there was no time left to hear the enemy's plan first.
She then quickly took a bundle of biscuits she would always kept inside of a wooden box. It used as a multitasking storage box since then.
"I apologize for being too aggressive on you, after all, you are still my relative."
"You're right, Halora. That's the reason I came here."
A deafening silence embraced both of them as no one attempted to break it.
But the truth was- Halora was cleverly observing her actions before jumping into a sudden decision.
She smiled sweetly, "I agree with your plans, in one condition."
"That was quite unusual of you, Halora. I haven't told you my plan but here you are, telling me that you completely agree! How naïve are you, huh?"
"Cut the chain, Damara. I can read what's in your mind and I must thank you for helping me figure it out."
It is perhaps one of the chosen savior's ability other than the rest. If she could read someone's thought, she could also erase people's memories through a close contact.
And Damara didn't come to see her with no greatest plan behind her smiling face.
She gulped, lifted her head and looked intently into her brown eyes.
"Bring to me the young alpha tomorrow morning. If you don't, then I have no other choice but to—"
"I will do that. If you only keep your words that you won't hurt anybody else in this world." said Halora in a weak, deep voice.
For a second, Damara remained silent as she tried to decide whether to agree or not. But she must grab the opportunity of having the alpha before she moved to her ultimate goal.
Time goes by too fast like a wind that gave goosebumps to all living kinds on Earth. Every second and minute meant a lot to all individuals who looked into it as a precious, priceless thing.
Right then, with no hesitations and qualms, Damara stood from the wooden chair and breathed deeply.
"Keep your words. I am looking forward to see your popular boyfriend one last time.." she murmured and laid her eyes on Halora who met her deep, mysterious gaze fearlessly.
