Jia Fei's eyes widened in shock once again to see her jeans button and zip undone. Why….why is it like this? What the hell happened last night?
She gritted her teeth and glared at the door from where Yuhan exited. She had thought of him as a friend but he turned out to be a fox. A sly fox.
'Yuhan, Prepare for your funeral today. Because today….you're going to be a dead-meat by my hands.' Jia Fei chortled in anger and threw away the blanket on the floor angrily before walking to the bathroom.
...
" I want spicy food." Yuhan mimicked the way Jia Fei ordered him to cook something spicy for breakfast as he was cutting the spring onion.
He was cooking breakfast for two of them, meanwhile, Jia Fei was taking her sweet time in getting ready upstairs.
" This girl sure has guts to order me around after turning my life upside down." He scoffed in disbelief as he topped the noodles with the fresh-spring onion and put the bowls on the serving tray.
" Why is it taking her so long? Can't she get ready quickly? It's not like she has to go to a party later." He sighed in exasperation as he couldn't bear to see the noodles getting soggy while waiting for her.
" Are you talking behind me? Huh?" He was startled when he heard Jia Fei's high-screechy voice. He looked up and saw her standing at the stairs and glaring at him.
He raised his brows and wondered why she was staring at him as if he had stolen something precious from her.
'What's wrong with her?' She was looking like a confused bunny just a while ago and was now glaring at him like an angry tigress.
....
At the dining table, Yuhan served her the breakfast that he prepared for her. It was nothing special, just a bowl of steaming-spicy instant noodles and a cup of coffee.
" Have a broth first. It will help you with your hangover," he said as he gestured to her to try the broth first.
Jia Fei pursed her lips and was confused at his behavior. How come he is being so casual and natural around her?
Shouldn't he explain what's happening? She has no idea how the hell she ended up in his bedroom and was not at her house. And where is her damn shirt?
After coming out of the bathroom, she tried to look for her shirt but it was nowhere in the room. In the end, she had to wear one of his t-shirts from his wardrobe.
" Aren't you going to eat?" Yuhan asked upon noticing that she hadn't even touched her noodles yet and was staring at him as if he had committed some grave crime.
" Why? Why are you staring at me like this?" He asked again while taking a bite of his noodles. He can't let his noodles get soggy because of her staring contest.
Jia Fei squinted her eyes and asked in a low voice, " Yuhan, tell me the truth. I won't kill you if you tell the truth. I promise."
Yuhan: " ..."
" What nonsense are you spouting? What kind of truth?"
" You….You did something to me last night, right?" She asked carefully while staring at him to not miss any of his reactions to her question.
Yuhan, who was peacefully eating his breakfast, was caught off guard with her straightforward question. He coughed as soon as he heard her question and spurted the broth out while eating the noodles.
" Argh…disgusting." Jia Fei exclaimed in disgust as she cleaned the table with a napkin and handed one to him, to wipe his mouth.
" Sorry." He mouthed apologetically as he wiped the corner of his mouth. After coughing hard and finishing what he was eating in his mouth, he finally turned to her, " Jia Fei, I think I heard something wrong. Can you repeat the question?"
Jia Fei blinked and asked in confusion, " You didn't hear what I said?"
" No. I heard it. But I think I heard it wrong. There is no way you would ask me if I did anything to you last night." He laughed. Why would she even ask that kind of question to him?
Jia Fei blinked at him indifferently and nodded, " I asked just that. You didn't hear it wrong. That's my question."
" What did you do to me last night?" She asked again.
Yuhan laughed in disbelief as he couldn't believe that she was seriously asking that question to him. " You….Are you seriously asking this to me?"
" Don't you remember anything about last night?" He asked.
Jia Fei blinked in confusion and smiled awkwardly. About last night?
If she had remembered everything, why would she even ask this question to him? Other than leaving the bar with him, she doesn't remember anything. Nothing.
Everything is dark to her. Pitch dark.
Yuhan chuckled at the blank face that she was making, " So you seriously don't remember anything? After making me go through all of that, you're saying you don't remember anything?" His tone turned cold by the last sentence.
He was shocked at how shameless this girl can be. After keeping him awake all night and snatching his cozy bed, she was saying she doesn't remember anything.
Jia Fei pursed her lips and swallowed the saliva hard while trying hard to remember what happened last night. However, everything was a blank canvas for her.
She only drank just one glass of beer, how come she doesn't remember anything?
" I don't. How….how did I end up at your house? Also,...where…is my shirt?" She asked hesitantly while avoiding his gaze. Her ears turned red at the mention of her shirt as she can't believe that she is asking him about her shirt which is nowhere to be found.
How embarrassing.
