~The Last Night~

" What are you doing? Why are you changing the address to my home?" Yuhan asked in confusion to see Jia Fei changing the address in GPS from Glory Building to his place. 

Wasn't he supposed to drop her off at her place first? 

Jia Fei cleared her throat and looked away embarrassedly, " I don't want to go home tonight. If I go home, Luo Dan will irritate me with her unnecessary questions and I don't want to answer any of them." She answered honestly. 

Since Lin Hui had asked her to go for drinks with him in front of Luo Dan and Xu Nuan, both of them must be perplexed and curious at the same time. Going home right now means being attacked by their unstoppable questions. 

After what happened at the bar earlier, she was in no mood to answer any of such questions. It's not like she has anything to answer such questions either. 

Yuhan let out a heavy sigh before asking the question, "So….you're not planning to crash at my place for a night, do you?" 

Jia Fei turned to him and grinned at him shamelessly, " BINGO!! You see, I can't possibly go to a Hotel just to hide away from Luo Dan. I might not be active in the industry anymore, I am still a celebrity after all." 

" I am sure as my closest friend, who would not want me to get into messy controversies just because you didn't take me home with you? Huh?" She asked expectantly. 

" Hah! And you think it's alright for a CELEBRITY to crash at a man's house? Wouldn't it be more controversial than going to a hotel?" He asked in disbelief. 

Luo Dan's scandal died down just a few days ago and here she is cooking up a new scandal. More than that, she didn't even ask him for his permission and simply made the decision. 

He is the damn OWNER of the house.

Jia Fei adjusted her seat and leaned back and closed her eyes to relax as she answered, " Don't be ridiculous. There is no man and woman between friends. I can even go to the bathroom together with you." She commented casually, catching him off guard. 

Yuhan, who was driving, was too stunned to speak. So now, she doesn't even consider him as a man? 

Woah!! That's new. No one has ever insulted him in such a….casual way. 

" You…You….Hah, You're not a human. Not at all." He scoffed in disbelief at her ignorant character and drove to his place, rather than dropping her off at her place as Jia Fei arranged. 

As if he had a choice to do anything else.

" Yaah!! Give me my baby. Give it to me…." Jia Fei cried out and whined as she lunged at Yuhan to grab the beer can that he had snatched from her. 

Yuhan pulls his hand away from her reach and raises above his head, " Nope. You're already drunk enough. You will not get any more alcohol." He said firmly. 

After coming to his place, Jia Fei suggested drinking as she was upset about what had happened earlier. Seeing how desperately she wants to drown her sorrows in alcohol, he gave in to her request and joined her. 

However, rather than diving into alcohol just like her, he stuck to his no-alcohol-for-a-month promise and had a cold drink with her. Meanwhile, she gulped down six cans of beer herself and was begging to drink her seventh can now. 

When they started drinking, everything was fine and normal. After some time, she started to bawl about how she loved Lin Hui and how he looked down on her feelings by calling them a mere attraction for the other sex. 

He was starting to feel bad for her when she suddenly started to laugh crazily and cry at the same time? Is this what happens when you go overboard with your drinks? 

She even took out her phone to call Lin Hui and confess how much she loves him. That's when she started to lose her mind. Only he knows how much effort he had made to protect her face in front of that manager and not allow her to call him in her drunken state. 

Otherwise, she would have definitely tried to jump in a well once she sobered up. 

'Oh, wait, there is no well nearby. Maybe the  swimming pool will do.'

" You…cruel person. How can you stop me from drinking anymore? Do you know who I am? I am Jia Fei, The Queen!!" Jia Fei claimed proudly as she got off her chair and walked towards Yuhan, who was sitting opposite her in unsteady steps and clinging to his neck to get the beer can from him.

While Jia Fei was trying to get her beer can from him, Yuhan was caught off guard when Jia Fei suddenly hugged his neck and was clinging onto him to get the beer can from his other hand.

His earlobes turned red as he couldn't comprehend if all the changes happening to him were because of the hot weather or…something else. 

He glanced at Jia Fei carefully and blinked nervously upon realizing that her face was only a few inches away from him. 

'She….She is not bad.' He thought in his head. Excluding her brass attitude, she is not that bad of a girl. He wondered. 

In fact, in terms of looks, she is beautiful. No doubt. However, in terms of attitude….hmm…that's a bit problematic. 

' But…it's not bad either. More than rude, she can be called outspoken and straightforward. Hmm…that's a better explanation for it.' he thought in his mind.

" Ah, I must be crazy. Why am I even thinking about her?" He spoke aloud. 

"Hmm?" Jia Fei turned to him in her drunken state and asked, " You…You said something?"

Yuhan swallowed his saliva nervously and said, " Party over. It's time to sleep. Get up." He said putting the beer can away and grasping her wrist. 

Before his mind could wander any further, he grabbed his wrist and started pulling her towards the guest room. " This is the guest room. You will sleep here and there is no need to come outside to use the bathroom. It's right here." He pointed towards the attached bathroom in the room. 

Jia Fei plopped on the bed and looked at him in a daze, " You….Don't leave me alone. It's scary to sleep alone. And lonely." She cried out while hugging the pillow against her chest. 

Yuhan stared at her acting like a child and was amazed to see a different side of her. So that's how she acts whenever she is drunk. 

"Hah. And then she says that she is not cute." He remarked. However, as soon as he said those words, his eyes widened in horror. 

" Ahhh….I must be crazy. From which angle, does she looks cute? She is a demon, Demon." He calmed down after coming to this conclusion and left the room, leaving the demon….Jia Fei, behind.
