Chapter 92 - Missed So Much

Two days later Elena was discharge from the hospital after her final test. Her legs tissue were good and she didn't needed any walker to walk. After discussing the necessary things with doctor, Lucas took her back home.

Blake rushed back from his trip after Lucas informed him about Elena's accident. He went straight to the Carter house and waited for their arrival. 

Reaching her house, Lucas helped her in getting out from the car and supported her in taking slow steps. 

Blake had tears welled in his eyes after watching her bandage body. He have never seen her so weak. She was just a happy girl who would eat his brain asking him stupid question. But today seeing her like this he couldn't help but felt bad for her.

Making her sit on the couch, Lucas took the seat next to her. Henry went inside to fetch water for them.

"How is my baby girl?" Blake asked in concern.

"How do I look?" she said with her as usual with her smiling face.

"You need to be more careful baby girl. Now your life is connected to this brat and if anything happens to you, I don't know what will happen to him maybe he will simply follow you" he said looking at her trying to tell her what was her importance in his son's life.

"I will be careful henceforth" she said showing him her thump up assuring him.

After having some talk with her, Blake excused himself and asked Lucas to follow him. Leaving her in her parents care they left the living room and went to the lawn.

"How did the accident happened?" Blake inquired.

"I don't know but someone is after her" he said and look his phone out showing him the drivers picture.

"This man was driving the car" Blake took the cell phone from his hand and looked at the picture carefully watching the mans face.

His eyes were scanning the photo when something caught his eyes," This man.... the mark in his hand I've seen it somewhere" he said showing him the mark on his left hand.

"Yes even I had noticed it but I can't remember" Lucas said thinking about it.

"I've asked Ron to look into it. He will come up with details related to it" Lucas said and took back the phone watching the mark on last time.

Lucas left her house and went straight to the office, his work was pending from the last five day as he was busy taking Elena's care.

He entered his cabin and got ready for the meeting he had with the IT department. They were going to launch the new software after Watson had stolen their original idea and had sell to their rival. Even though the company didn't launch their stolen software as Watson was arrested before the launch.

His employees had been working hard for the launch, after he had lashed on Watson exposing him openly. They had only a week left for the launch and needed a model to promote their company.

Ron had given him the list of top model who would be suitable at the billboard but Lucas was not satisfied.

He went to attend the meeting when he saw Natasha walking his way. He was in no mood to talk to her and wanted to keep a safe distance from her. He was a taken man and didn't wanted to have any misunderstanding in his relation.

"Lucas you are back" she asked smiling at him.

Natasha was so happy to finally see him back in the office. She was waiting for him to join the office work soon, wanting to spent some alone time with him. She had got to know that Elena was still going to take a week leave and won't be back before that. She took this opportunity to seduce him and make him loose his control submitting himself to her.

Lucas ignored her question and walk pass her leaving her embarrass. She looked at his retreating back. What was she suppose to do to grab his attention. She fisted her hand and storm to her cabin. She so wanted to make Elena pay for snatching Lucas away from her.

"Don't worry soon you will only look at me Lucas" she said.

Elena was sitting in her room reading a book when her phone rang. A smile creeped on her face seeing the person calling her.

"Did you take your medicine?" Lucas inquired her.

He was back after the meeting. The first thing he did after getting back was to call her. He was barely able to work as his heart and mind were with her. He had forced himself to go to work as he couldn't neglect it for too long. He thought about coming back after attending the meeting, but the pending work was so much that it would take him some time to leave.

"Yes I had" she said and waited for him to speak but the voice she heard made her eyes wide in anger.

"Lucas I need your help in this project" Elena heard Natasha's voice from the phone.

An unknown emotion build in her heart thinking about him being alone with her. She trusted Lucas but she didn't have one percent trust in her.

"I'll ask Ron to help you with it" she heard Lucas rejecting for help.

"But this project is handled by you and I think it would be better if we work on it together" She said. 

Natasha was not going to leave this chance, she was adamant to be with him and he had to agree with her even if he doesn't want.

"I'm busy right now, will get back to you on this topic after I'm free. So will you excuse" he said asking her to leave the cabin.

Natasha was left dejected again by his behavior towards her. Nodding her head she left his cabin.

"So she wanted to work with you, huh?" Elena asked.

Irritation was evident in her voice. Lucas gulp in fear and faked a smile," Hehe... sunshine it's just a project and you know I wont be with her the whole time" he defended himself.

"You better follow your words Mr. Thomson or forget about your daily dose of kiss from me" her stern voice was enough for him to accept her words.

"By the way.. I miss you" he said changing the topic. He didn't wanted to spoil their romantic talk discussing about Natasha.

Elena anger melted in a second listening his words, even she was missing him. These five days in hospital, they never parted even for a minute. He was stick to her like a clue not leaving her side for a second.

"Hmm.. when will you come back" she said.

"You want me to come now?" he asked.

"Yes!.." that's it, Lucas got up from his chair and left his cabin asking Ron to manage his pending work. Her one word and he was ready to leave everything. She had this power to control him just by her words and action and he would be even ready to destroy anything.

"Wait for me I'll be there in ten minute" he said and cut the call leaving her dumbfound.

Natasha saw him leaving in hurry came out following him," Lucas... we need to discuss about the project" she said making him stop in his track.

"I've some important work lets discuss about it tomorrow" he said and left her. She saw him entering his private elevator. Natasha creased her brows watching him rush inside.

She strode back to her cabin and made a call," Lucas just left the office.. see where he is going?" she ordered and cut the call. 

Asking the driver to passed him the keys, he got into the car and left for her house. He had missed her so much even though they had parted just for three hours, but her plea made his strong demeanor crumble down in a second.

Taking some caramel donuts from her favorite pastry shop, he drive taking a shortcut route which would make him reach fast.

Lucas was driving at the normal speed ,when he saw a car following him from behind. Lowing down the speed of his car he thought maybe the driver needed to go ahead. But to his surprise the car behind also lower its speed making him frown.

His mind was alarming him that something was not right. He kept his normal speed and saw the car still behind him. Taking his phone out he called Ethan informing him to trace his car on the road his was now.

Speeding his car he drove fast leaving the car behind and reached Elena's house. Getting out from his car he looked behind finding no one. Asking the guards outside her house to keep an eye on the surrounding he went inside.

Greeting her parents, he walked upstairs to Elena's room. Slowly opening the door he saw her reading a book. Sensing his presence she looked up and found him with a bag in his hand.

"You seriously came" she said and got up.

Keeping the bag aside he strode to her taking her into a hug," I missed you so much" he hide his face in the crook of her neck slowly nibbling her weak spot.
