Chapter 137 - Longing

Natasha had locked herself in her room from the time she had came back from the hotel. She couldn't digest the fact that her plan to seduce Lucas backfired and the person who messed up everything as none other than Elena.

She sat in front of the dressing table looking at the mirror as she slowly trace her fingers on the mark that Elena had given her. She dig her nails in her skin and scratch the mark slowly piercing her cheeks with her nails.

She had already lost her mind watching her slapped face and the finger marks left on them reminding how Elena had attacked her making her fall on the ground. She never thought a fragile looking girl would turn fierce and would slap her.

"You can't win against me" she yelled watching the blood flow from her cheeks as she dig her nails more deep widening the bruise.

"This will keep me reminding how mercilessly I've to kill you" her toneless voice came like a whisper as a tear roll down from her eyes.

Her madness was not easy to tame and now she was more adamant to remove Elena from Lucas life. Her sweet innocent act had given her nothing but was only delaying her time to be with Lucas.

"I will make sure you die soon Elena" she said and got up walking straight to her restroom.

Lucas cabin

Elena was surprise when he confessed his love, though she knew he would always profess it to her whenever they were alone. But today his words sound like he was fascinated by her completely and the words came out with pure adoration.

They were inside their cabin and had a loads of work to do, but Lucas being Lucas didn't care where they were and continued to kiss her like there was no tomorrow.

Elena could feel him pouring all his love into that one kiss he gave her before he pulled back and looked into her brown orbs. His eyes showed how much he adore her and how much love he carry for her in his heart.

"Thank you for being with me" he had been always saying the same thing. No matter how much he repeats the words, he would not get tired or stop conveying it to her. She was his light, the ray of hope which he wanted to protect at any cost.

"Mr. Thomson, is the drug still hiding in your body" she leaned back resting her chin on her palm and watching him blushing at her words.

Lucas cheeks turn red due to shyness recalling their wild activity the previous night. Even though he was on the affect of drug but he still made love to her not letting him act like a beast to devour her.

" If you want I can do the same thing which I did when I was high on drug" his words dropped her smile when she remember how they made love without taking a break and not to forget this devil who didn't stop confessing his love for her even in that toxic state.

"No thanks I still feel sore down there and for your kind information we are here as boss and assistant and not husband and wife, so..... better do some work" she said and pushed him back showing him his table.

"Fine but after we announce our relation I won't stop it showing my love publicly" Lucas had already made up his mind and was only waiting for the day when he would officially announce them as husband and wife to the world.

Though fear was still lingering in corner of his mind but he had faith in himself that he would not let anyone harm his love or else the person had to face his wrath.

Carter House

Standing in front of the main door, Henry rang the bell. Within a minute, the door open and Julian saw her husband smiling at her," What's with that smile of yours Henry?" she asked when Lingaa came in her view.

"Look who is with me" Henry turn to show her the person he had told her about.

"This is Lin, I told you about him right" he said and turn to look at his wife.

Julian watched the man in front of her. Her eyes were stuck on the lifeless eyes which look at her like a lonely person waiting for someone to watch it. She felt a pull watching Lin who had this smile which showed his unsaid feeling.

"Hello" he said breaking her chain of thoughts.

Julian blinked her eyes and looked at the man who was waiting for her reply. She was drawn to his untouched look but at the same time she felt that she knew him.

"Hello.." she said and moved back letting the men get in.

Lingaa took the seat on the couch and watched the house which he didn't knew. When he was with them, they would shift their house as per Henry transfer but now coming to this house he felt like he was back home.

"I've heard about you from Henry. He said you are new here" she asked .

"Yes mam" he answered looking the house when his eyes fell on the side table which had a small photo frame with the picture of four people in it.

Henry saw him watching the frame without blinking when he said," These are our kid" he said making him turn to him shocked by his words.

He never knew they would still consider him as his family after he left them without informing about his departure. His mind only kept one thing in mind and that was revenge and still he had this one thing fixed due to which he had join the investigation bureau. He had always looked up on Henry and had respect for him. Even after he left them, he worked hard and didn't took illegal way to take his revenge but even after joining the bureau he still made enemies who were were now hunting him.

Lingaa nodded his head and continued his talks with them. He felt at peace when he saw how they had not changed after all these years, the same friendly and caring way. Even though they didn't recognize him still they were so humble towards him.

After having the breakfast, he left the place hoping to meet them again. His heart was longing for them and wanted to be with them like before.

Samantha had called Maira and had asked her to come and join her as Ethan was out for some work. She wanted to tell her sister about Ethan having some other business other than hacking.

Maira reached her place informing Daniel that she was with Samantha and would be late.

"Sis I'm sure he is hiding something from me" she said making Maira frown.

"And why do you think so?" she asked not getting where her spy brain starts to think.

"Do you remember when I had told him about Elena being attack , he acted all casual and even yesterday when he went to work a message pooped in his laptop which said ' The parcel had reached its destination'" she said and slumped on the couch next to her sister.

"Is he into illegal business or maybe killing or something" she said making Maira choke the juice she was drinking.

"Stop your nonsense. By looking at him who will tell he is doing illegal business and killing what rubbish.. didn't you say he is scared of cockroach and can't even kill it" this were the word Maira had heard about Ethan when she had told her about their relation.

"Hmm you're right but why did that message popped up and why is he keeping secrets with me"

"If you're so eager to know then just ask him and don't use your spy brain in it"  Maira words made sense but maybe it didn't reach her ears. 

Samantha only kept looking at the closed laptop on the table which Ethan used when he did tracking. She knew he was into hacking but something inside her said that Ethan was more than just a hacker.

"Even I doubt Daniel sometimes. One day after our sex, he got a call from the lab when I heard someone telling that the drug is ready. That time he thought I was asleep but I had heard everything. But now that you've brought this topic, even I feel these trio is hiding something from us" Maira could relate to Samantha because even she felt that Daniel hide things from her which she knew only partially.

"See I told you these boys are hiding something. Do yo think Elena knows about it" she said thinking if Elena was aware of it.

"I don't think she knows this or else she would have said it to me"

"I think we should tell her about this, what if she is also kept under wrap" Samantha was too into her spy mode and would not stop unless she would find everything.

"I think you're right"
