Chapter 196 - Promise..

After along night the horny couple finally stopped after there was not a single ounce of strength within them. Propping aside Daniel turn to face Maira who was sleeping peacefully next to him.

It had been two days after she told him about her pregnancy. He was so happy that he didn't waste anytime and informed about the good news to his brother and friends.

Lucas was happy for his brother finally seeing improvement in his nerd life. If not under his guidance his geek brother would have kept his life limited till medical books and never experimented anything for real.

Everything looked so peaceful around. While Dominic's romantic thoughts started to cloud his mind when the door bell rang. Frowning he turn to see the watch and frowned deeper," Who came so early" he muttered and climb down the bed.

Wearing his loose shirt he walked out from the bedroom. His eyes were so sleepy that he didn't bothered to watch the camera screen and went to unlock the door.

"Daniel Thomson how can you not inform be such a big news" a familiar voice roared making his sleepy eyes open wider in horror.

Before he could say anything his ears were pulled and he was thrown inside the living hall landing straight on the floor.

"Ow... mom you can't bully me like this" he stood up from the floor and rubbed his ass and continued," I am grown up man now"

Iris was looking her son who was whining like a kid. Who will tell he is twenty eight years old but still as a child like trait.

"You dare hide it from me. You brainless brat how come I don't know what you were up to all these days" Walking to him she pulled his collar and shook him fully waking him up.

She knew Daniel had moved out from Lucas penthouse but she didn't knew he was already living with his girlfriend.

Pulling his ear again she smacked his bump when her hands halt looking at a beautiful girl watching them with shock eyes.

"Maira.." she whispered and left go off his ear and dashed toward the girl pulling her into a hug.

Daniel who watched the incident taking a different turn looked confused on how his mother just changed her attention from him and just dashed towards Maira.

"Oww my poor daughter you look so weak. Doesn't this brat let you rest even a bit" Daniel understood what his mother was implying on. Leaving his hurt bum he rushed to his mother.

"Mom what are you saying?" Daniel stomped his feet watching how his mother was bad mouthing him.

Maira who was looking at the mother and son duo couldn't help but feel happy. The way they talk to each other made her heart overwhelm. She had been a child without a mother and having her mother by her side was what she missed in her childhood.

She was not complaining that her father never cared for her or ignored her. She was his precious daughter but as much as she needed her father she needed a mother too. She was never given a chance to miss her mother because her father had already filled the place but deep in the corner of her heart she missed her mother.

A silent sob escape from her mouth making the duo turn to look at her who was busy arguing.

"Babe what happen?" scared by her sudden reaction Daniel went to hold her.

"You are the one who is making her cry you duffer" Iris jerked his hand away from Maira's shoulder and held her wrist taking her to sit on the couch.

Iris knew her son would be too much childish sometime giving hard time for her to handle his overbearing tantrums.

"What happen honey?" wiping her tears Iris made her look at her.

"Does he not take care of you" she couldn't help be ask throwing a deadly glare at Daniel who walked like a sneaky cat slowly sitting next to Maira.

He tried to hold her but his hand was again jerked away by his mother who gave a look' Dare you touch her or else your hand is gone'

Lowering his head after getting a glare from his mother Daniel didn't move from the spot.

"No its just.." Maira was dumbfounded looking how silent Daniel went when his mother made him quite.

"Aunty Daniel doesn't give me hard time he really cares for m~" listening her words Iris raised her brows making the girl go silent.

"Aunty?Who is Aunty here?" Iris looked around making the young couple look at her in confusion.

While Maira thought she had upset his mother Daniel only rolled his eye knowing that his mother had never enlisted her in the aunty category.

She was still young at heart and barely showed any sign of aging even though she was a mother of a twenty years old man.

Blinking at her eyes Maira turn to look at Daniel and then his mother back.

"Am I still your aunty when you are my son's soon to be wife" her words then got register in Mairs'a mind and she pouted melting the women stern face.

"Mother call me mother" holding her chin she kissed her forehead.

"I came here to beat this ungrateful son of mine but I spare him because of you" she then looked at her son whose eyes popped out from his socket.

Daniel was used to of his mother scary words because she always like to bully him.

"What??  How dare you hide her pregnancy and do you think I will let this round butt of yours rest in peace" getting up from the couch she went and dragged Daniel kicking his butt..

"Mom.. please...You can't bully me its not fair"

Maira kept silent watching the exiting show in front of her. She was just happy to have such loving and caring people in her life. Here she thought of leaving him which she still regret of thinking. Daniel was the best ever happened to her and she wanted to cherish him all her life.

Mairs got up and left the duo while she went to make some coffee for her mother-in-law.

After making sure his butt was numb that's when Iris let go of him and settle on the armchair.

"Your dad will soon reach here" taking the sip from her coffee Iris kept glaring at her son who was rubbing his swollen butt every now and then.

"Mother sorry for not informing you about it. Please don't blame Daniel I was the one who have hide it from him he is not the one to be blame"

Keeping the cup aside, Iris smiled at her. She had heard about her from Lucas and Elena. Even though she knew her son had a girlfriend still she was contemplating whether to meet them or not. She knew her son was a clumsy person but she still hope the best for him.

Holding both her hand Iris kissed the back of her palm," You know I still couldn't believe this bookworm son of mine even got the guts to woo a girl. But I am grateful you kept him next to you" Iris was a loving mother and she care for both Daniel and Lucas.

Their family never birth a daughter as both the heirs of Thomson were blessed with son's. She always wished for a girl but it never happened.

"I found a daughter in you. Welcome to the family Maira"

Rosie mansion

Elena was having her fruit salad along with her favorite donuts. Her combination of food was getting weird and weird by days.

Looking at her handsome husband who was currently having a meeting with the foreign client she couldn't help but drool over his charming personality.

'How come he is getting more handsome with each passing day' she thought and looked down at her small bump.

"And here I am growing like a cow" she was loud enough to make the man divert his attention to her.

Looking ahead Lucas saw Elena talking to herself having the fruit salad. He couldn't help but smile mentally watching his wife doing weird stuff.

While Elena was busy self talking she didn't realize that her husbands meeting got over and he came walking to her..

"What is my baby mama thinking" his voice startled her and she turn to look at him only to watch him settle next to her.

"Lucas how do you mange to look so handsome everyday" she couldn't help but ask.

She was always like this with him no filter just straight with her statements.

"How am I going to hide you from other drooling eyes when you keep getting handsome day by day" she pouted and then opened her mouth eating the chopped apple.

Lucas was suppressing his smile for a long time but soon burst looking his innocent wife making her frown

"Sunshine are you getting jealous" his smile dim a little when she shot him a glare.

"Lucas do want to sleep in the guest room" here she was getting insecure because of his growth in handsomeness but her stupid husband was taking her words lightly.

His bright smile drop in a second and he started to coax his angry wife," Sunshine you know..." he was about to continue but was cut by her words," I can't sleep without you...then why do you...tease me" her lips twitched on his repetitive words.

He would always end up giving the same reasons whenever she would bring the topic of letting him sleep in the guest room.

Lucas couldn't even whine Elena was too smart to fool. Laying down on her lap he held her hand on his chest," Sunshine if you think I will stop loving you after you get fat then remove that from your mind because I am not going to leave you" 

Elena pouted and looked at him," Promise"

"Hmm promise"

"Even if I grew double from my original size" she asked knowing that soon her baby bump will grow bigger and bigger.
