Chapter 200 - Getting Scary Day By Day

Lucas was sitting inside his cabin going through some files. In these whole year they managed to crack many profiting deals which did wonders to the company.

He was proud of his employees and his staff because they never once failed him. It was their hard work along with him that the PM enterprise never step down from it's position.

While Lucas was busy praising everyone he got a call from Lingaa.

"Brother-in-law what a pleasant surprise for you to remember me" Lucas had been in good terms with Lingaa and never leave the chance to pull his leg.

He still recall the day when Lingaa had asked him for some advice to woo Cynthia. The way he desperately begged him showing his cute side just like his wife melted his heart and like a good brother-in-law he helped him.

"I have something to tell you Lucas" his serious words made the man stop his teasing smile and within a second his face turned cold.

They have been trying to find Marcus and had joined hands in helping each other.

Lingaa wanted the man because he was a criminal who had done many crimes and the officers have been trying to get hold on him. Even though Lingaa wanted to deal with him alone but he felt the man would be sentence to death once caught and that would his revenge on him for his father death.

"Your base or mine?" Lucas kept his words minimum and ended the call when he got the answer.

Leaving the office Lucas rushed to his base where Lingaa was going to meet him.

Elena and Maira were done with the guest list so they decided to go shopping the same day dropping the idea of next day.

They informed their partners and were soon allotted by guards which they didn't oblige.

Elena was used to of being guarded but Maira felt weird watching the bulky men standing around them. 

"They look like statue" Maira whispered leaning close to Elena.

Smiling at her friend she started to walk ahead and hopped inside the car which was parked in front of the them

"You will soon get used to this" Elena didn't feel irritated because she knew Lucas would never let her alone if he was not around.

The car started and the girls went to their destination.

Inside the base

Lucas went to get the new piece of information which he learned from Lingaa. He was more than anger and so wanted to get hold his so call uncle.

"How come this scum let down my grandpa. The old man who loved him like his own blood but he tarnish his upbringing by staining his name"

Lucas had seen his grandfather longing for his son. He loved both his son equally but due to Marcus anger against his father he never got the chance to mend their relation.

His grandfather always blamed himself for neglecting Marcus when he lost his wife.

Lucas thoughts were broke when he heard Lingaa further.

"He had tried to transport a new group of young girls to Paris by selling them in high amount but luckily one of the girl ran away from there and reached the police station" 

Lingaa had met the girl before he made a call to Lucas. The girl was so terrified with the incident that she was getting it hard to even speak with them.

It took them a while before they let the girl calm down and answer their question.

"Did you find where these girl were going to get transported" Lucas asked as he wanted to know the exact location so they could find him.

"Paris.."

Lucas was not shock because he had again fooled them. When he asked Ron to find every possible detail from where the threat mail come from even he had answer the same 'Paris'

Lucas let out a chuckle listening his answer which made Lingaa frown. It was not the time for him to laugh but soon take action and reach the target.

"Do you think it's a joke" irritated with his smile Lingaa so wanted to smack his head.

By now he knew this man was evil with ten brain inside his one head and had his mind thinking into various different direction. He was expecting him to show some seriousness but here he was laughing.

"He fooled you again" Lucas dropped his smile and the atmosphere around them turned serious.

"What do you mean?" Lingaa was not sure how could he conclude when they have the proofs.

"Do you think he would let us find him so easily when he knows he is on search list. No! He is playing his card very well this time"

"But then the girl said the group being taken to Paris. Did she lie?" Lingaa felt everything he found was just a piece of lie information.

"I am not telling the girl is lying. She gave you the right information but even the poor girl was given the false news. How do you think the girl managed to escape so easily without getting caught by his men"

Something about Marcus Lucas have understood all this time. The man was a manipulative person who liked fooling people around without showing his true fox like face.

"He just wanted to make us believe on the girls words so we keep searching  him getting tangled in his wrong details" as his words said Lucas nodded his head.

Lingaa now understood what was Lucas trying to say. They were again been fooled by giving wrong details.

"That son of a bit*h"

Lingaa brushed his hair in frustration. How did he not understand that the girl was able to run from the highly guarded place because he wanted her to reach them and give the information. 

"Now what will we do. My team have already reached Paris and now must be tiring their mind and body to get that bastard caught"

Lingaa was so pissed that he wanted to beat the shit out from that cunning man.

"Let him think that his plan to brainwash us have worked successfully. Let him have his satisfaction of fooling us and wait for his next step"

When the climate around them settle Lingaa asked the question which was bugging him from the morning.

"Why are the news channel circulating the wedding details" Lingaa didn't understood why would Lucas leak the information about the wedding when he always preferred privacy.

"Why do you think I did that?" 

Lucas again smirked making the man again fall into a deep thought. The thought went for more than a minute but Lingaa couldn't answer.

Getting up from his seat Lucas patted his shoulder," I think you should just leave your job and start to help Cynthia in cooking" Chuckling at Lingaa's poker face he left from his base.

"This weirdo think he is very smart" Lingaa cursed and call Aksa telling him about the change in plan.

The car stopped in front of the boutique. Maira was the one who hopped out first followed by Elena.

"The designer is my friend. Tell him whatever you like in your gown pattern" they kept walking inside not knowing that their every steps were been watched secretly.

Inside the boutique the girls were busy discussing about the designs. The marriage was just in ten days and they had a lot to be taken care off.

"Do you think this will look good on me" Elena showed Maira a design which caught her eyes.

"Hmm it will look so elegant on you" agreeing to her friend Elena stuck with the design she selected and informed the same to the designer.

It took them an hour because Maira was not satisfied with the piece of design shown to her.

Every time when she was shown a design she would like it but then suddenly she would turn it down.

Elena knew from where this sudden change came from. It was normal for a pregnant women change her mood like a clock time.

Even the designer was out of design when Maira settle with the very first design making the man almost faint watching her tantrums.

By the time Elena and Maira finalized their design it was already lunch time. They were hell tired with the continuous thinking that they headed straight to the restaurant to have food.

Before the girls could step their foot inside the restaurant Elena's phone started to ring and so did Maira's

"Hello" both of them said together but on their respective phone call.

Maira excused herself a little so she won't disturb Elena and shouted," Daniel how can you not even call me since morning. Do you think it's all my responsibility to go shopping alone when you are the groom" she breathe heavily as she said it without taking a pause.

Daniel on the other side was turned silent because of Maira's outburst. If he was not called for an emergency he would have accompanied her but nothing happened like he thought.

"Babe you need to calm down. Did you have your lunch" he asked hoping she won't burst on him again.

"You stupid man!" this time she screamed

"You just wasted my time or else I would have been eating food" she shouted her lungs out making the man flinch in fear and in that fear he dropped his phone down.

Before he could answer her back the call was cut and he was left dumbfounded. Looking around he watched his staff looking at him with wide eyes.

Her voice came out so loud that it was heard by everyone. Daniel so wanted to cry but composed himself. He had a reputed image and his staff really scared him.

"What??" he asked looking at the wide pair of eyes 

His cold voice made the people around take their allotted work and run out of his sight as soon as possible.

When he was left all alone he let out a sigh and wipe his sweat which god knows from how long rested on his forehead.

"She is getting scary day by day"
