Lin Wan’s expression seemed a little forced, and she gave a faint smile. She then acted cute in front of Qin Song. “It seems that I don’t get along well with people in my university years.”

Pei Qian curled his lips up. “Mrs. Qin, I was just trying to avoid trouble. Although I didn’t do anything and Gu Xi isn’t suspicious of me, it’s very hard to avoid gossip. It isn’t good for your reputation, too.”

Qin Song nodded his head before giving Lin Wan a meaningful gaze. “Let’s go back.”

Lin Wan had only walked a few steps and she could not help but turn around… Pei Qian was supporting Gu Xi into the car.

Pei Qian clenched his fists while he used his other hand to forcefully turn her head to face him. He stared at her under the dim lighting…

“Do you like him that much?” He looked at her with a hot gaze.

Gu Xi lowered her eyes. “It’s none of your business!”

“None of my business?” He sneered, “You are crying for another man in my arms! How can I not care?”

He suddenly told the chauffeur, “Go to the Qin Residences!”

Gu Xi looked at him in disbelief.

The car was headed there, but then she commanded, “Stop the car!”

The chauffeur naturally did not listen to her and continued driving forward.

Gu Xi desperately tried to hit Pei Qian’s shoulders. “Let go of me! Bastard, I said that it’s none of your business!”

His throat could not stop vibrating while he wore a tensed expression on his face. He seemed to hold his anger in.

Pei Qian rarely got angry. However, she had stepped over the line way too many times.

“Since you like him that much, why didn’t you snatch him back?” He held her shoulders, and he said in a voice as cold as a block of ice, “I believe that Qin Mo would sacrifice his life to come back to you as long as you said you wanted to be with him.”

Stumped by his words, Gu Xi shook her head. “No!”

“Why not?” His voice still sounded tensed as ever. “You want to be with him. Why must you go against your heart?”

Gu Xi froze while she looked at him and panted.

He also stared deep into her eyes while his breathing turned erratic.

In that dark car, the atmosphere slowly heated up. A sensual atmosphere grew amidst their anger…

His grip on her waist tightened and her body fell into his arms.

Pei Qian slowly drew closer to her and his lips almost touched hers. He said in a deep and husky voice, “Gu Xi, you either fight for him or completely forget about him…”

She raised her head and blankly stared at him.

They were very close to each other. It was as if he had engulfed her entire body into his embrace.

His body was scorching hot and he was hugging her pretty tight, making her feel weak and small. It was as if she might break if he hugged her a little tighter.

She blankly stared at him, while Pei Qian stared at her lips with sparks in his eyes.

He lowered his head to kiss her lips all of a sudden and pushed her down on the back seat.

He squeezed his leg in between her two legs such that she cannot move. He had also pinned her hands to her sides, which allowed him to attack her lips and neck again and again…

The chauffeur in front of them was so stunned by the scene that he did not even dare to look at the rearview mirror anymore… and yet, they still wanted to go to the Qin Residences? Were they going there to showcase Mr. Pei’s great kissing skills? Or showcase President Gu’s swollen lips?

In the end, the chauffeur drove the car to Pei Qian’s villa instead of going to the Qin… or rather they drove past it. After they had finished kissing, only then did Pei Qian realize that Gu Xi had a fever.
