Chapter 5：She is Mine

She turned on her heels, but Qin Mo quickly caught up with her. He hugged her waist from behind and pressed his face to hers before saying in a deep tone of voice, "Gu Xi, I never loved her and only slept with her twice!"

Although his voice was deep, Tang Xinru still heard him.

Her face turned sullen and her slender body was on the verge of collapse.

Gu Xi tried to break away from his grip but failed. "Qin Mo, let go!"

Qin Mo hugged her tightly. "Gu Xi, let's have a good talk!"

Everyone in the Gu Group witnessed that classic scene and directed scornful gazes at Tang Xinru…

So, it turned out that Qin No actually liked their Manager Gu. Meanwhile, Manager Tang was the third party… and she fell under the category of women who slept with men yet never went up the ranks!

When the scene turned ugly, a series of footsteps rang in the hall.

A tall figure inched closer. He wore an expensive custom-made western suit that emphasized his nobility!

His handsome face had a majestic look and with his height of 185 cm, he shone so brightly that it almost left most of the females in the Gu Corporation blind!

Behind him were two bodyguards who stopped in their tracks once they were five meters away from where Gu Xi was standing.

On the other hand, the man who was surrounded by an array of light continued to walk towards Gu Xi.

When he saw those people, Qin Mo unknowingly let go of Gu Xi and stood straight before instinctively pushing Gu Xi behind him. With a restrained tone of voice, he shouted, "What are you doing here!"

Gu Xi's heart almost jumped out of her mouth… It was Pei Qian!

What was he doing here!?

With a knowing and deep smile on his face, Pei Qian looked at Qin Mo and Gu Xi. He then darted his gaze towards Tang Xinru.

As he smiled, it made all the staff workers in the Gu Group stunned… He actually looked even better than President Qin.

Everyone knows that President Qin is one of City H's most dashing children! But then again, the newcomer in front of them won over him!

"What a coincidence." His long and beautiful fingers stroked his chin. "Who is President Qin fetching after work?"

That sentence gave Qin Mo and Tang Xinru enough embarrassment!

Compared to Qin Mo, Gu Xi was even more unwilling to see Pei Qian! Because his presence made her remember that preposterous night!

She broke away from Qin Mo and was prepared to leave when Pei Qian stopped her.

"The clothes you left in my room!" He handed over a bag to her.

Gu Xi's face burned up. She had already tried so hard to forget that night!

But this scoundrel actually took it a step further and reminded her without caring about what others might think!

She was beyond furious. In her heart, she had already cut him up into pieces… and reduced him into nothing!

She took the bag, but he gripped it very tightly. He said in a deep yet pleasing voice, "Little Xi Er, I can hear you scolding me!"

Gu Xi scoffed.

Suddenly, he let go of the bag. It fell to the ground to which the contents spilled all over.

That gown she wore during the engagement party… and her undergarments…

It was very alluring that it could induce one to have wild and fanciful thoughts!

Gu Xi was enraged yet Qin Mo had a look of defeat. "Gu Xi… you and he…"

Pei Qian smirked and looked straight into Qin Mo's eyes. "That night, Gu Xi was together with me."

Qin Mo looked shocked as he stared at Gu Xi. He then muttered, "Good, very good."

His expression looked as though he had suffered a great blow!

So, the shirt that Gu Xi wore that day belonged to… Pei Qian!

"Gu Xi, are you really going to be together with him?" Qin Mo's lips were pressed into a thin line and he was still trapped in a daze. "You will regret it! Do you know that he is my…"

"I have no interest in knowing!" Gu Xi coldly retorted as she lowered her head to pick up the clothes and stuffed it into the bag. Then, she walked to the nearest dustbin in the hall and threw it in!

With that, she left.

At that moment, Qin Mo glared harshly at Pei Qian. "What are you doing?"

Pei Qian gave a faint smile. "I'm not doing anything. Even if I wanted to do something, I would… do it with Gu Xi!"

Qin Mo could not restrain himself and threw a punch over. "Get away from her! She is mine!"

Pei Qian took a step back, and his thin lips had a hint of mockery. "Qin Mo, I have already slept with her! Are you sure she is still yours?"

Qin Mo's face paled…

He was furious, but he was even more regretful.

If he had not slept with Tang Xinru that time when he was drunk; if he had not relented at the night of the engagement banquet; if he had told Gu Xi the truth… maybe he and Gu Xi would not have ended up like this!

He stepped back and his face was filled with self-mockery…

Then, he looked at Pei Qian and said in a hoarse voice, "What is your motive for getting close to her? To take revenge?"

Pei Qian gently smiled and walked a step forward. His long and beautiful fingers patted Qin Mo's crinkled shirt. He said, "My beloved younger brother, you think too much into it… Maybe you just don't know how alluring and beautiful Gu Xi is on the bed!"

He immediately let go of Qin Mo and flashed a faint, cold smirk…

Qin Mo glared harshly at him. "If you dare hurt her, I will never let you off!"

"Is that so? But I must remind you that you and the woman behind you were the ones who deeply hurt her."

Pei Qian's lips had a refreshing, faint smile. "While I just appeared at the right time."

He elegantly turned around and left while Qin Mo's growl rang from behind. "She loves me."

When he saw Gu Xi's tears that day, Qin Mo realized that although she never once expressed her love before, she still cared for him!

He had been together with her for so long and had never seen her cry before!

Pei Qian did not turn back and merely said in a light tone, "Then, you can continue to delusionally hope that she actually loves you."

Whereas, he had never wanted such a ridiculous thing!

Qin Mo stood there in silence… as though he lost all his strength!

Tang Xinru hesitantly walked to his side and tried to call for him. "Qin Mo."

He tilted his head to the side and stared at her with immense hatred. "Don't call me!"

He took a few steps back. The night that he got so drunk that his head was spinning, he thought the one who crawled closer to him was Gu Xi. It turned out that it was Tang Xinru…

Although he had always lusted after Gu Xi that his heart ached whenever he thought of her, he had never stepped beyond his boundaries.

She was such a pure girl that even a kiss would make her face red!

That night, he lay on the bed with blood gushing through him and he could feel a pair of tender and small hands moving through his body…

When he opened his eyes, he saw Gu Xi's face!

His blood started boiling within him and he could tolerate it no longer. So he flipped them over and pinned her under him…

The next morning when he woke up, his head was still spinning and his large hands touched a patch of smooth and tender skin which he instinctively hugged. He closed his eyes and kissed the person as he called her name…

But he felt something was wrong with the woman's voice, thus he peeled his eyelids open and saw Tang Xinru's face!

All of his physiologic reactions disappeared at that moment…

Tang Xinru cried and promised him that she would not tell Gu Xi—she would not ruin their relationship!

Qin Mo entered a state of silence yet, she appeared in front of him later on again, but they never did anything!

On the night of the engagement banquet, she appeared in his suite and congratulated him with a sweet voice…

He drank a bottle of red wine with her and then… He did not know how they ended up on the bed!

Qin Mo never thought that he was attracted to Tang Xinru's body. It was not as if he had never touched a beautiful woman before.
