Chapter 10：Jealous Men are the Most Barbaric

Gu Xi put down the phone and looked at the time.

It was already eight in the evening, and she was already exhausted. There were waves of pain surging through her stomach since she hadn't eaten her dinner yet.

She had hesitated for a moment before she took the car keys and went downstairs.

She hated herself the most now!

She could not understand someone like Pei Qian… but she could confirm that he did not get close to her just because he liked her!

There was almost no warmth in that man's eyes!

Gu Xi was not that innocent and moreover, she was not the type of girl who would have a casual liking towards men!

Ever since she was young, she knew that she wasn't one to decide for her own marriage and moreover, she never liked any other men. Even if she did, it would just be "Qin Mo" who she met when she was nine years old.

That warmth could accompany one throughout one's life!

Even if she ended up with Qin Mo in the future, it might not be as heart fluttering or invasive as what others said it to be. She thought their love would be nice because it was filled with warmth.

Gu Xi coldly laughed… and did not think about Qin Mo again.

She drove towards the mansion in Yuhua South Road. Since she left in a hurry, the last time she was there, she wasn't able to take a clear look at the mansion.

When she drove her car into the large and quiet courtyard, all the lights in the mansion lit up in an instant…

Gu Xi was from a wealthy family so naturally, she knew the structure of these mansions. Hence, even if it was large, she managed to find the main entrance in an instant.

Song Yazhan stood at the entrance to welcome her, but deep inside, he sighed…

To be able to drive the car to the main house, Miss Gu was the first!

He stood at the doorstep and saw Gu Xi get down from the car. He then lowered his head in a gentlemanly manner. "The President is waiting for Miss Gu at the study room upstairs!"

Gu Xi pursed her lips. She had no interest in this handsome and well-mannered man!

Both the master and servant were not good people!

Song Yazhan glanced at Gu Xi's expression and laughed internally as he touched his nose…

Hey, he was innocent, alright… Everything he did was forced onto him by his master!

If not, he would have protective feelings for the fairer sex, too!

He was still a little surprised by Gu Xi's courage to come here, but he quickly came to a realization that she must have guessed that the President was connected to everything that happened to the Gu Group…

If it wasn't because of her "connection" with their President, she would never come!

Both proceeded upstairs and Song Yazhan knocked on the door before opening it. "President, Miss Gu has arrived!"

Pei Qian stood before a French window and had a cigarette in his hands.

It seemed that he had no intention to speak!

Song Yazhan smiled… Since she was already here, why was he still acting cool?

However, he could guess what Gu Xi would face later on.

What was that called? Jealous men were the most barbaric!

He happily looked forward to the turn of events and politely said, "Miss Gu, have a good chat with our President! I will head out first!"

But Gu Xi did not want him to leave. Putting her together with Pei Qian in the same room was akin to letting a small sheep and big bad wolf meet each other!

She instinctively wanted to speak out, yet Song Yazhan's movements were so fast that it was inconceivable. He placed his hand on her shoulder and pushed her into the room and closed the door.

His movements were very smooth and even made one feel like they were violated!

Gu Xi stood there. The study room was humongous, and the wooden office table looked very extravagant and liberal. Moreover, the room contained nothing but office materials which resulted in an icy cold atmosphere with no hint of human touch!

He said nothing and neither did she move.

He was her enemy now, so before she was clear of his motives, she had to keep her cool.

After around ten minutes, Pei Qian finally tilted his body and his black eyes stared intensely at her… lips!

Then he threw away the cigarette in his hand and walked briskly to her.

Gu Xi instinctively stepped back but her back was already against the door.

In just a second, his hand interlocked with hers and he kissed her tightly on the lips.

No, it was not a kiss; he was biting her… punishing her!

Gu Xi screamed from the pain and moved her face away…

(Downstairs, Song Yazhan raised his brow. It sure seemed intense upstairs!)

He quietly stepped back and stared straight into her eyes with a malicious gaze. "You came here on your own accord!"

With that, he raised her two hands with just a single hand and made her straighten her back in which her chest was inching closer to him. It was as though she really sent herself straight towards him…

His other hand gripped her small chin and his burning tongue pried into her small mouth…

Gu Xi shied away from him, but in the end, it was a futile effort!

He thoroughly explored her tongue and mouth. When he finally let go of her, her lips had already turned numb…

She touched it and it did not feel like it was her lips at all!

However, he never moved back that quickly, and instead, he continued to lick and kiss her. This kind of gentleness made her even more afraid!

"Do you know why I kissed you?" His lips moved towards her neck. He found her pulse and then gently bit it…

She felt as though electricity surged through her body… Gu Xi bit down on her lips and prevented herself from moaning.

On the other hand, he seemed to have realized the changes in her body and heaved a deep laugh before biting that area repeatedly…

Gu Xi's forehead started to sweat and even her clothes were slightly damp!

"Do you like me kissing that area?" His voice was gentle, but she could not hear any kindness in it and would not innocently think that he did that because he wanted her today.

Because when he kissed her, his body was tense and he never let her feel his desires. Instead, she felt anger!

He was angry!

Gu Xi did not think that she had offended him in any way… Even if she did, he was the one who kept pestering her!

She tried her best to remain calm and panted slightly. "If Mr. Pei wishes to prove his kissing skills, I think you have enough women to try it on!"

"But I just want to experiment it on you!" He finally raised his eyes to look at her, but his hand continued to grip her hands. He wanted her to talk to him in such an embarrassing manner!

He was undoubtedly angry towards Gu Xi!

She tried moving away but failed. Instead, she made herself look even more embarrassing.

Pei Qian coldly looked at her and soon, his gaze landed on her slightly swollen lips. "Now, are there still traces of him on you?"

Gu Xi was shocked for a moment and immediately realized something. She looked at him in disbelief. "You followed me?"

Pei Qian's gaze turned dark as he stared at her. He inched closer to her with his fingers on her lips. "Whose kiss is better? Mine or his?"

"Lunatic!" Gu Xi could not be bothered with him and shouted furiously at him. "Let me tell you this one more time. We are not related in any way!"

Pei Qian's gaze turned even more malicious, and he only spoke coldly after a long while. "Indeed, we are only after sex!"

Gu Xi bit down on her lips. "What do you want?!"

"Didn't you already know what I wanted long ago?" He gently touched her lips and smiled.
