Chapter 32：I Don't Know If He Was Good In Bed Or Not

Song Yazhan turned around to face Pei Qian, only to see his usual calm and indifferent expression on his face.

'Boss is really shameless! He still has the cheek to ask such a request!'

Gu Xi, on the other hand, went berserk.

He was really a bastard!

She put down the phone and cleaned herself up.

But actually she… did not feel anything.

Didn't people claim that after spending an exciting night with a man, it would feel as if a car knocked them over? Wasn't she supposed to feel pain in certain areas of her body?

But why didn't she feel anything? Instead, she felt very refreshed and energized?

Could it be that the perverted monster within her had eaten some kind of energy elixir?

Gu Xi lightly patted her face before looking into the mirror, only to see hickeys on her shoulders.

It looked very striking and obvious.

She went to the dressing room and changed into a thin turtleneck sweater. All this while, she had a sour expression on her face.

She took her bag and was about to go out when her phone rang.

It was… Tang Xinru!

Gu Xi contemplated for a while before deciding to answer the call.

"Gu Xi…" Tang Xinru continued in a sad tone of voice, "Are you still mad at me?"

Gu Xi coldly replied, "If there isn't anything important, please don't call me again. Tang Xinru, I don't need your fake sympathy."

Tang Xinru was stumped by her words and her tone softened. "Gu Xi, I am carrying… Qin Mo's child."

Gu Xi had never seen a thick-skinned person in her whole life. But then again, if there really was one, it should be Pei Qian.

"Congratulations! Is there anything else?" Gu Xi scoffed. "Ha, you can't possibly be thinking of asking me to become your child's godmother, right? Well, if that's so, I am sorry. I am not that big-hearted."

With that said, she ended the call.

Although she sounded very confident when she spoke with Tang Xinru, every word she said felt like a stab in her heart.

She pursed her lips and stood frozen on the ground for a while before leaving her house.

Miss Ding came back from her morning jog, and upon seeing Gu Xi's turtleneck sweater, she gave a knowing smile. "Miss Gu, are you going to work alone?"

Gu Xi nodded her head and was not interested to carry on the conversation.

However, that was not the case for Miss Ding. "When I went out earlier on, I saw Mr. Pei…"

Miss Ding wore a dreamy look on her face. "Mr. Pei has a really good… body!"

Gu Xi's face froze. 'What a perverted person!'

When the lift reached her floor, Gu Xi walked in before turning around to say, "He is really good in bed too!"

Upon hearing her words, Miss Ding froze and felt a little vengeful that she was still single. It was not very nice of Gu Xi to tease her like that!

Gu Xi walked towards her car and entered. Wearing her sunglasses, she smirked.

Although she slept with Pei Qian a few times already, she really did not know whether he was really good in bed or not.

She did feel a little strange because she did not feel as tired as the books depicted it to be.

Gu Xi's face turned red from all of her imaginations, and she immediately started the car to snap herself out of it.

'Stop thinking about it, Gu Xi! You are really going to turn into a perverted monster at this rate!'

During the afternoon, Pei Qian received a parcel.

Song Yazhan handed it over. "It was sent by Manager Gu."

Pei Qian took the little box and immediately knew what it was from its size alone.

He gently opened it and Song Yazhan gave a light chuckle. "There's nothing dangerous in it!"

If Gu Xi really wanted to do something to his boss, she would just end his life without the use of extreme methods.

Indeed, Pei Qian's phone was inside the box.

However, there was a big fat cross drawn with lipstick on the screen of his phone.

Song Yazhan gloated over Pei Qian's misfortune. 'That must be really hard to erase.'

Pei Qian's facial expression immediately darkened and thought that Gu Xi was being really childish.

He threw his phone to Song Yazhan. "Clean it and give it to me once it's clean!"

Song Yazhan widened his eyes in bewilderment.

After Song Yazhan had left his office, he immediately dialed Gu Xi's office telephone number. "Manager Gu, I received your present."

Gu Xi did not stop writing whatever she had on. With a face void of expression, she said, "It is not a present. I am just returning it to its original owner."

Pei Qian gave a peal of clear laughter before saying, "But I didn't just leave my phone in your house."

Gu Xi said without hesitation, "I have already thrown your clothes away."

Pei Qian tugged on his tie and his tone of voice suddenly turned sensual. "What I mean is when we were together, I left something in your…"

How vulgar!

Gu Xi put down the phone without a word.

Pei Qian chuckled. He was satisfied with her reaction. How shameless!

Although he rarely flirted with people, it just seemed to come out naturally when it came to Gu Xi.

He did not let her off so easily and gave her another call. Gu Xi fiercely shouted, "I am working!"

"I am just informing you to come over to my place tonight." Although he had a dulcet and pleasing voice, it only made Gu Xi go berserk.

She froze momentarily before calming down. "I am going on a business trip for a few days."

Business trip?

Pei Qian lightly chuckled. "In that case, I will wait for you…"

His voice suddenly turned gentle. "Gu Xi, you were very cute last night…"

After he said that evocative sentence, he immediately hung up the call.

'Cute… What does he mean by cute?'

Gu Xi could not help but think in the wrong direction. Just imagining herself being pinned down by a certain man when she was sleeping… doing some obscene things together… She was disgusted at the thought of it.

An inexplicable feeling crept up to her.

She already slept next to a man, but… she had no experience with sex?

Nobody would probably believe her if she told anybody

'I don't need to know how sex feels…'

She had propped her chin in her palms when somebody knocked on her office door.

Lin Yunzhi walked in. "Manager Gu, there's an important dinner meeting tonight. Are you going?"

Gu Xi pursed her lips. "No, I am going to… visit my family. Oh right. Yunzhi, you shall come with me!"

Lin Yunzhi froze before curling her lips up. "Yes, Manager Gu"

Gu Xi contemplated for a while. "If Mr. Pei calls in the next few days, just say I am in Australia."

Understanding the meaning behind Gu Xi's words, Lin Yunzhi chuckled in her heart.

This was what Gu Xi liked most about Lin Yunzhi. She never needed to be so straightforward with her words.

Actually, it was a waste of Lin Yunzhi's talent for her to be Gu Xi's secretary.

Lin Yunzhi had good qualifications and was very capable. If she were to work elsewhere, she would have been a senior manager of a department.

However, Gu Xi knew that Lin Yunzhi would not leave her.

Just like how she could not leave the Gu Group. It was a pity that she could not change her grandpa's decision.

When it was time to knock off, Gu Xi left in Lin Yunzhi's car. They talked about Lin Yunzhi's mother while going to their next destination.

"I saw Housekeeper Lin when I visited grandpa the other time and she seemed to be in good health," said Gu Xi while smiling.

Lin Yunzhi tightened her grip on the steering wheel. With a fake time of voice, she said, "Is that so? That's great!"

Gu Xi contemplated for a while before softly saying, "Actually, you should visit Auntie Lin more often. She misses you a lot."
