Meanwhile….

Chasina woke up in the middle of the night. 

But she fell asleep again. 

Edward didn't wake her up after she fell asleep. He simply waited for her to wake up in the morning. 

Chasina took her phone and scrolled through the contents. She saw the news. But she didn't show any reaction. It's a wonder that her brother didn't confiscate her phone. Her brother is still sleeping. Maybe his fatigue kicked him and fell asleep. 

When Edward woke up he saw Chasina was in deep thought. 

"What are you thinking?" He asked. 

"Answer" she replied. 

"Tell me what is going in your mind?" He asked seriously. 

Last night he got the news of Henrieth's death. 

He is afraid she might know it. 

"How many digits from 1 to 1 lakh are formed with the numbers 0,7,8?" She asked her question. 

"..."

It's a maths question! 

The subject he loathed with his life! 

How dare she ask him that question! 

But still, when he remembered the news of Henrieth he kept his mouth shut. 

He will waste time if she has to be distracted. 

Yeah! He will try that maths thingy! For her sake! 

He cried without tears! 

He wanted to jump down from the window and die rather than answer it. 

But he will become a laughing stock if he died just because he couldn't answer a math question. 

Okay! He will agree that he cares about his reputation! 

If not why he will give up! 

He is a Major General okay! 

He too deserves some face to save! 

No one is allowed to make fun of him! 

"Before I answer that, wash up," Edward said seriously. Not giving her a chance to make fun of him, he pressed the non- emergency button. 

A nurse came quickly. 

The nurse's little face is a bit red. She looked like she jogged here. 

She is the attending nurse for Chasina. She is afraid that if she doesn't go fast Edward might end up calling the doctor. And the doctor might take his anger on her. 

She didn't want to take the backlash from the doctor. 

The nurse came forward. She helped Chasina to wash up.

"Miss, your boyfriend is very caring!" The nurse said. 

"What? He is my brother!" Chasina said. 

The nurse exclaimed. 

"Oh! Then he is very caring about you. Last night he didn't sleep while taking care of you," the nurse said as she wiped her hands. 

"Miss, please ring the bell. If you feel uneasy or need me. If you are in an emergency press the emergency button there," the nurse said before picking the tray before leaving. 

"Miss, I will get breakfast in another five minutes," the nurse said before she left. 

As if something ticked in her. The nurse came in. 

Miss, your brother can eat in the canteen down there. If not he can cook there. And yeah, if you want the food to be cooked there is a kitchen in your room. I can make food for you," the nurse said in a single go. 

Chasina, who heard it turned towards Edward and asked, "Brother, what do you say?"

"What?" Edward said. 

"The nurse is saying that we can cook in the ward itself it seems. What shall we do?" Chasina asked.

"Let's cook for ourselves," Edward said. 

"Okay! But I can't cook!" She said. 

"I will cook!" He said. 

She nodded her head. 

"No need, we can cook for ourselves," Chasina said. 

The nurse nodded and was about to leave. 

"Wait!" The nurse heard Edward's voice. 

Her ears turned red. She blushed a little. The nurse group is already chatting about his care for Chasina. They are also fascinated by his handsome features. 

But they felt it's a pity that a handsome man was already taken. 

Now she found he is not her boyfriend but her brother. She felt shy. When he called her she couldn't help but blush. 

"What type of food can she have?" He asked in his mild and hoarse voice. 

"She can have anything but light food," The nurse said.

"Okie! Thanks," he said aloofly. 

The nurse saw him turning back and entering the kitchen. His broad straight back faced her. She looked at him in a daze. She couldn't help but admire him. 

She wanted to look at him for another few minutes. But she couldn't. Because she has to attend to the other patients. 

With a sigh, she left the ward. 

"Brother she admires you," Chasina said in a teasing tone. 

Edward washed the vegetables. And started cutting the vegetables. 

"So what? It's not like she can have me. I already have my wife," Edward said loudly. 

"Hmm, right! By the way, did you get the answer," Chasina asked as she wiggled her brows playfully.

She couldn't help but tease him. She is sad because of Henrieth's death. 

She couldn't vent it out. She has to cope with herself and try to act cheerfully. She has nothing to do rather than finding things to distract herself. 

"Brother, Where are my yesterday's clothes. My phone is on it. I want to get my phone," Chasina said. 

"I'm boredddddddd," she said. 

Edward panicked a little when he heard her words. 

"I don't know the answer to your question! Why don't you explain it for me along with the answer," he said as he dumped his respect. 

"Bro my phone!" She asked stubbornly. 

"No phone! It's not good for your health! You are already a patient!" Edward said seriously as he finished cutting the vegetables. 

"Sigh, brother. Me will complain to Sis-in-law," Chasina said. 

"Sure, go ahead," he said. 

"Now, now tell the answer," Edward urged her. 

"242," she said. 

"It has….." Before she could start explaining. She heard the agitated voice of Edward. 

"Stop!" Edward shouted at her. 

"Bro…. You said you will listen to my explanation," Chasina pouted. 

"But that is maths!" He said. 

"Hmph! Why are you so agitated? It's just maths!" She said. 

"Maths is a nightmare!" He said. 

"No, maths is heaven! I can only feel relaxed while doing maths!" She said. 

"Because you are a maniac!" He said. 

"Hmph! I'm not!" She said. 

"If that thing hadn't happened, you would have hated maths to death!" He said. 

"Hmph! I'm glad that thing happened!" She said. 

"What thing?" Adiana's voice sounded in the room. 

She came around ten along with her small and big babies. 

"What thing happened that made my Sina love the Maths?" Adiana said. 

"Oh! Once she fails..."

"No! Stop! Stop!" 

"Once she failed in maths!" 

"Brother! I hate you!" 

"From then she concentrated on maths and became a pro! From then she couldn't help but get addicted to maths!" Edward said. 

"I see!" Adiana said. 

Laura and others laughed out loud. 

"Brother! I hate you! Don't forget! Even you failed! You had to write supplementary to pass in maths! You are embarrassing me! Huh? I failed when I'm in fourth grade! But unlike certain some who failed to pass it even in his high school! Hmph!" She said agitatedly.

How dare he reveal her embarrassing situations!? 

She also knows his embarrassing situations! 

She can also reveal his secrets! 

Does he think only she has embarrassing situations!? 

Hmph! 

How dare him! 

She crossed her arms around her chest and sat angrily! 

Edward is speechless! 

Everyone in the room burst into a puddle of laughter. 

"Anna! Look over here!" Edward said. 

Adiana quickly went over there. She knows her husband can cook but it is only edible. And she is afraid he cannot cook in a good way but if he couldn't cook well now. She is afraid of Chasina's health. 

"You should have said to me. I would have brought it over here," Adiana said. 

She frowned when she saw the vegetables which were about to burn. 

"Edward! Next time don't try to cook! At least when a person is sick!" Adiana said. 

Edward is speechless again! 

Why these people are embarrassing him from the time he woke up! 

"Papa! Don't cook! Baby is ill!" Ava said seriously cutely. 

Again everyone drowned in a fit of laughter. 

Edward rushed forward tickled her endlessly. 

Chasina was tickled to the extent where she almost rolled over and fell from the bed. 

"Will you say things again?" He asked as he saw her couldn't control her laughter anymore. 

"My stomach! My stomach! It hurts! Ahhh" Chasina shouted. 

Edward panicked and stopped tickling her. 

"Edward you shouldn't do that when she is sick!" 

"Edward, she is recovering now only!" 

"Bro are you going to kill her!"

"Bad papa! Bully!" Even Ava couldn't stop herself from saying it. 

Why everyone is targeting him again. 

"Actually, it is hurting because I was laughing too hard," Chasina said as she ran her hand on her neck embarrassedly. 

Everyone: "..."

Again they laughed out loud. 

Everyone tried their best to distract her. She had her breakfast. They stayed along with her till lunch. 

She can see them trying to distract her. 

"I know Henrieth is dead!" She said.
