Chapter 109 - New Bridal Widow.

After breakfast, Chasina tried to ask others their phones but still, no one dared to give her. They gave so many excuses. 

Chasina knows that they are trying to protect her. But she couldn't. 

It is soon lunchtime. At that time. Adiana offered to cook there for everyone. The fridge in the VIP room is filled. So, they don't have to go outside. Adiana offered that she will make vegetable fried rice for everyone. 

She washed the rice and kept it in the cooker. Since the cooker is small she has to make food in batches. So, she is making arrangements to make food with the help of Laura. While the little toddler is curiously watching the room which is smaller than their house. 

"Father, can you give me my phone? I want to check if I have calls from anyone!" Chasina said. 

"Nope!" Alexander and Stephen said at once. 

"I know Henrieth is dead!" Chasina said loudly. The room froze into dead silence. Everyone stopped doing their work. 

Adiana stopped cutting vegetables. The little Ava is confused. She patted her mother's leg asking for her mother's attention. Little Ava, who saw her mother was in a frozen state patted her leg again. 

This time Adiana responded. 

"What does the baby wants?" She asked as she kneeled in front of her. 

Ava hugged her teddy bear tightly and said "Carrot," 

"Is one enough?" Adiana asked. 

"Yup. Baby will ask more after she finishes this one," Ava said with a smile. 

"Hmm. Good then!" Adiana said. 

The lid of the cooker moved. Making the only sound in the room. But it still couldn't break the tension between the people. 

Chasina held her bedsheet tightly, " you don't have to pretend in front of me," she said in a slightly choked voice. 

Adiana turned off the cooker. And went near Chasina. 

"Don't worry, it's all for your best," She patted Chasina. 

Chasina couldn't hold her emotions. She hugged Adiana's waist and cried. She said Laura to do the remaining cooking before she made her way to Chasina. 

So, Laura is cooking. She called the three men inside the kitchen to help her. Even though everything is prepared by Adiana Laura has to fry the veggies a bit and add rice and stir fry it for a bit. She has to add some salt for taste, some chilly powder, and a bit of sauce. 

She called others to give Chasina some space. They immediately understood. When Stephen entered the kitchen his phone rang. Saying that his subordinate came with the resigning papers. 

"I will go and get them!" Stephen said. 

"I will accompany you," Alexander said. 

"No need, I will go. There is a power cut in the hospital. No one knows the reason. You stay here and look after the female. I will get them. You will need to tire yourself by climbing the steps. So it will be better for me to go and I will learn the reason for the power cut too," Edward said. 

He wanted to smoke. Since it's a hospital he can not smoke. So, he also wanted to smoke and see the reason for the power cut. 

Alexander and Stephen nodded their heads at him. Edward went down to take the documents. He thought that since Chasina is not in a great mood it's not nice for him to bring it up. So, he kept the documents with him. He went to reception and asked about the Power cut details. 

"Sir, the rainy season started. So a big thunder came and fell on the transformer. The government can only fix it in twenty-four hours.  We wanted to use generators but it can only last for twelve hours. So, we kept it for the night. We can't go out to buy the diesel now as the whole area is blocked due to heavy rain, " the receptionist said. 

But he wondered how the subordinate of uncle Stephen came. But he didn't think much because he is not a normal person but a person who knows survival skills. When he was about to go outside and take a look he saw that same subordinate rushed forward with a pregnant woman as he carried her in his arms. He drenched. 

Edward went out and saw that the rain is still falling but the roads are flooded. The government sent some people to clear the roads. With the technology today Alvonia can clear the blocked roads which are filled with water. 

But in between, it's not hard to say that people will suffer.  

Edward called the immediate rescue team to clear up the blocked roads at least around the hospital. 

After that, he casually decided to return to the ward.

Chasina is crying her hearts out as she cried. 

She couldn't shake off the feelings that she had for Henrieth Hazegroove. 

She loved him With all her heart. 

But all she got is endless deception. 

Before she could get over the deception. 

He appeared again. Giving her all hopes and life to her dreams. 

She dreamt of being a good wife. She dreamt of becoming a mother. She dreamt of living a life with him. 

She doesn't even know what to do now. Because she didn't make any backup plans to continue with her future. 

Because she thought everything would go smoothly. But she didn't know that something like this would happen. Chasina thought of accepting his apology after he came. 

But little she didn't expect that he would never come back. 

But how could she take this? 

How could she live without him?

How can she fulfill her dreams without him? 

Can she forgive him?

Nope! 

She will not forgive him. 

He betrayed her again and again. 

He betrayed and threw her into an abyss where she cannot get over it. 

Chasina had only loved five men in her life. One is her father, Alexander, Stephen, Edward, and Henrieth Hazegroove. 

After her father and mother passed away. She is scared of losing the people loving her. She never cried in her life. But she cried for him. 

How can he do this to her? 

Didn't he love her? 

Didn't he care about her? 

He promised her he would stay with her till their hair turned grey. 

But how can he forget it now? 

How can he leave her alone? 

How can he leave the world without her? 

Can't he think of her at least once? 

Did he remember her? 

Why is he so cruel to her? 

Why is he so adamant about breaking her again and again?

Can't she love him as any other woman do? 

Why does she have to be different? 

Why? 

Why? 

Why?

There are lots of unanswered questions. The more she thought about it the more she felt sad. 

She couldn't stop her tears. 

Her tears kept falling like pure white pearls. 

Her tears seeped into the depths of Adiana's clothes. 

Adiana knew how much Chasina treasured Henrieth. Even though she is tough for him for the past six months. She loved him a lot. 

But what did she get at the end? 

An endless misery. 

A deception. 

A heartbreak. 

A bunch of tears. 

An illness. 

A self-torture. 

A self-loathing. 

Adiana felt like Chasina's tears were sinking into her blood through the skin. 

Adiana even though she fought with her parents she has the person she loved. He stood for her every time. 

But Chasina even though she has her family. 

How can she take it when the person she loved is dead? Moreover, she made many plans with the person with whom she decided to spend the rest of her life. 

Adiana felt anger rising inside her. 

How can that guy do that to her? 

Her sister in law is such a kind woman. 

He used her in a case. 

She almost died because of him. Yet he has the cheek to say that he left the window on purpose so that she can stay alive. 

How ridiculous was that? 

And again he said he loved her and pretended to be helping her in the case and made her fall for him. But he turned his back at her and left. 

And again he appeared after a year and wooed her for six months. And made her agree to the marriage with him. 

And he gave the Mrs. Winston necklace. 

Did he give that for her on purpose? 

That damned cursed necklace! 

She almost got married. 

But in the end, she saw his disappearing silhouette. 

He didn't even turn around to give a smile at her. 

He left her without a word. 

And now he completely left her without saying any goodbye. 

He betrayed her more than thrice. But the three major betrayals are on the top of the list. 

She couldn't help but worry about Chasina's condition.  

Chasina continues to sob for another half an hour before she stopped finally. 

Chasina felt exhausted and fainted again.  

This made others get panicked. 

They pressed the emergency button for the doctor. 

The doctor checked her and said that she is mentally not stable. She shouldn't exhaust herself like this. 

If she exhausts herself, her health will be in chaos.

The doctor again gave an IV drip to her and left the ward. 

Edward who stepped inside at this time felt sad after hearing how Chasina fainted. 

He is happy that she didn't turn into a new bridal widow! 

How can she feel sad? 

She should feel happy instead.
