Chapter 253 - Walking Through The Aisle

Ch-253

Andrus looked at himself in the mirror. He couldn't understand where it went wrong but everything was messed up. Was it at the time were Henrieth left the wedding leaving Chasina alone in the aisle? It won't be wrong if someone said it's right. When Andrus heard about Chasina's deed at her wedding he was attracted. He was attracted to her when he heard about the way she dealt with the media in an arrogant way in front of the hospital admitting that she was born with power and would use it the way she wanted. He was attracted to her when he heard her achievements. He was attracted when he met her for the first time in the hospital while changing her clothes.

And he wasn't surprised when Augustus liked her. He didn't see how Chasina handled the things in her broken wedding but Augustus did. That day… all guests waited for Chasina to break down and cry like there was no tomorrow. But no matter how long it passed she didn't cry. Instead, she laughed like a crazy person. She accompanied almost every person in the hall at least with a single toast. Augustus, who saw this was surprised, amused, and attracted towards her. But it's a pity that his attraction over her turned sinister, dark, and filthy. Instead of loving her, he lusted over her.

Augustus was a man who behaved like a kid and has a heart like a kid. But these politics ruined him. He couldn't help but get tainted by them to the point that his soul was tainted completely. And when his friend turned like this, he didn't notice the changes that happened to his friend. He was one to be blamed for the changes. Augustus was always disheartened because of the absence of his father in life. But with the presence of Henrieth and Andrus, he got over it. Again they left him in the darkness only to be tainted by the devils.

Augustus became sinister and scary. There was no hope that he would change back to normal. Death was the only thing that he deserves. As for Henrieth…. He was a pawn in Augustus' game. A single wrong from Henrieth would cost his life from either side.

"Brother, It's time for you to wait in the altar," Hammond said as he entered the empty groom's room without knocking. Andrus wasn't offended by his action. He nodded and got up from his seat as he walked out of his room. The venue was screaming with luxury and elegance. It's filled with whispers, laughter, and chattering. Everyone seems to be happy. Seeing everyone Andrus gave a friendly smile to everyone but his gaze stopped at the President of Alamba as they both shared a meaningful smile.

Andrus reached the altar soon. The two best men and the best 'friends' were already waiting for him. They both were wearing black tuxes while he wore a tux. Soon… the wedding drums started beating indicating the bride was coming. The three men who were standing on the altar looked at Chasina who was looking like an angel wearing the white wedding dress which was designed with white flowers. She looked like a flower fairy who ascended from heaven to the earth just for them. But this beautiful woman belonged to Andrus. Augustus was mesmerized by her beauty. He almost drooled over her. His eyes were filled with complicated emotions as he gazed at her walking through the aisle led by her father and brother. If Andrus died according to his plan then everything would have been fine. The person who would be marrying her would be him. He gritted his teeth as he tried to control the rage that built in his body from head to toe.

Why could he have everything? While he could have nothing! Why!? What does Andrus have that he didn't have? Augustus's father is a politician. His background is clean and rich unlike him. While Andrus was just an orphan!

On the other hand…

Henrieth felt guilty for wanting the bride of his best friend. Even though he knew he was wrong he couldn't help but try for one last time. But he realized he lost her in this life. This beautiful woman, who was walking on the aisle once walked on the aisle to marry him. But he threw her away in front of his duties. Maybe this was his price. He didn't give any importance to her. Maybe she was right, she was a trophy to him. She looked beautiful in that heavy wedding dress. He wondered if it was too heavy for her to carry. He wanted to carry her to the altar. But he has no right. He can say she was genuinely in love with Andrus. He saw the love in her eyes when she mentioned Andrus. He didn't see that thing in her eyes when she was with him. It's time for him to let go of everything.

On the other side….

Rosy, the bridesmaid looked at Henrieth, who was looking at Chasina as he lost in his own thoughts. She knew he loved some other woman. She has no chance of getting him back. She even gave up on him but she couldn't bring herself to stop loving him. She tried to distract herself by trying to love another person but she failed. Now, when she saw Henrieth's gaze she gave a mocking smile to herself even now he couldn't get over her. Maybe it's time for her to get over him completely.

This time she won't hold any fantasies about him. Every time, she was the one who was getting hurt again and again. She is thirty-two now. Maybe she should marry the man that her family chose for her.

Meanwhile…

Chasina felt like she was walking on the aisle for the first time again. This is her third time but still, she was scared that she might trip and embarrass Andrus. As she walked her gaze was locked with Andrus who was smiling gently at her. A small smile formed on her face as her worries wiped off from her brain. Her eyes were filled with him only. Only him. She felt happy. She just hoped nothing would happen till they exchanged their rings in front of the world. She took a deep breath when she reached the last step of the aisle and stood in front of him.
