Chapter 254 - Pregnant

Ch=-254

Alexander placed Chasina's Hand in Andrus's hand. "Don't make her cry," he said as tears pooled in his eyes. He wanted to say more but he felt a lump in his throat. He looked at her with a complicated gaze and left the altar and sat in the very first row to watch his daughter marrying this guy.

The priest asked them to read the promises. "I still feel like I saw yesterday. Your eyes tell everything to me. No words needed for you to say to me, they speak many things. Everyone says miracles happen in one's life unexpectedly in an unexpected situation. And in my life, you're that miracle who brought colors, happiness, and real-life to me. Before, my priorities were country and father. But now, first you, country and then father. I feel like being at home when I hug you. I feel all the stress, tiredness fly away when I see you. I never thought of marrying anyone but seeing you I felt life without you is meaningless. I promise that I will take care of you till eternity regardless of any calamity. With this marriage, I want to protect you, love you, and care for you openly in front of this world. Thanks for coming into my life, my wife," Andrus said truthfully as he gazed into her eyes openly.

Chasina has to say she was touched by him. She shed tears of happiness. She doesn't know why but she has been emotional lately. The priest asked the bride to give her vows.

"My broken heart was mended by you. I know you are breaking yourself just to mend mine. But I felt I wasn't worthy of you. I tried to become worthy of you. I liked you a long time ago but I have never said anything to you. Only you showed me that Broken pieces can form beautiful artifacts. I am the artifact that is formed by you. We wasted a lot of years and time. But now we shall not waste anymore. Be it in trouble, sickness, happiness, rich or poverty I will be with you and give you my company. And I will try my best to protect you as your wife," Chasina said as she smiled at him. There was no exaggeration in her speech or anything, everything was natural. Andrus was about to take the ring but was stopped when he heard her speak again louder than before.

"And…. the one who has been living here for the past four weeks as his mother!" Chasina said as she touched her belly as a lone tear of joy cascaded from her eye with a big smile.

The whole venue which was cheering them fell into a dead silence at her words. Even if a pin is dropped one could hear the sound of it.

Andrus couldn't believe his ears. A big smile formed on his face as he looked at her with tear-filled eyes. Everything was turning blurry but he blinked them away. He took a step forward and lifted her in his arms as he spun her without caring about the image. Citizens who were watching the live wedding almost jumped hearing her words. This was a big thing for them.

Andrus may be the happiest groom right now. She announced to the world that he was going to be a father in front of everyone. She didn't hide it. No wonder, she was behaving oddly for the past few days. He didn't take her hints all the while. He had such a silly head!

"Andrus! Put me down! I feel dizzy!" Chasina shouted, forgetting the crowd in the venue.

Andrus put her down immediately, holding her tightly stopping her from falling. "Why are you so excited? I feel dizzy!" She pouted and threw the dog food to the guests and the citizens.

"Sorry… sorry… I am too excited. How do you feel? Are you okay? Do you feel any movements in your stomach? Do you feel any kicks or punches in your stomach? Do you need a doctor? Do you feel…." Before Andrus could say anything he was cut off by Chasina.

"Andrus! Stop! I am only one month pregnant. The child is as small as a pea. When my stomach grows bigger, You can feel them too." Chasina said.

"But sina…." Andrus wants to say something.

"Shut up!" Chasina said angrily and that was enough to make him silent.

A round of laughter erupted in the crowd seeing their interaction reminding their presence to the couple who showed PDA without any care.

Chasina remembered that this was her wedding day, she buried her head in his chest feeling embarrassed.

"Everyone stop laughing, my wife is embarrassed," Andrus said, teasing her further and raising their laughter to another while earning a hard pinch on his waist from her.

"Ouch! It hurts! I won't say anything! Stop it!" He cried in front of everyone, making her even more embarrassed.

"Don't forget you guys still didn't exchange the rings. Only then you will be announced as wife and husband," the priest said helplessly. Maybe this was the happiest couple he had ever seen. They were a real couple out of love but… They have to remember that this was a wedding and have to exchange the rings! How could they forget this! Damn it!

Rosella's family didn't expect her to be pregnant. Everyone was happy apart from Edward. He was happy but he was concerned too. If she was pregnant, how could he manage the situation. How could she be so stupid to announce this in public right now? It would threaten her life even more. He wondered if her pregnancy was making her dumb.

Meanwhile….

Henrieth felt happy when he saw the bright smile on her face and his best friend.

While Augustus clenched his hand into a tight fist when he heard her words. She should give birth to his children only! Not that orphan's child! How could she sleep with him! Don't she feel filthy at his sight! That disgusting guy took her for the first time! Dammit!

He watched them exchanging their rings and kissing each other with love for which they received the cheers of everyone while receiving the wrath of Augustus. He needs to kill him! Yes! Andrus should be dead! He pressed his thigh hard, which has a button in his pocket. If that's pressed the start the end would begin.
