Susan was watching her sister intently. Seeing the reactions on her face, she was alarmed. Sofya seemed angry for some reason. But wasn't it romantic? Then why was she angry?
" Sis, what's wrong? Aren't you happy? " she asked timidly.
Sofya said nothing. Susan did not understand the corporate world. There were dangers and conspiracies involved which she could not even think of. The expressions that flitted through her face were of anger and distrust. Unaware, her hand reached for her phone. She dialled Arnav's number, then immediately cut the call, thinking about the events that had happened afterwards.
Sofya called her assistant, Nancy.
" Good morning, Miss Sofya. Anything urgent? " she could tell Nancy had been asleep.
" Nancy, there is a article about me and Mr. Raizada on the internet. Just find out how much it has escalated, but do nothing. Report to me first. "
" Okay! " Nancy put down the phone and grudgingly got out of the bed. Why would be there headlines about them being together? Had anything happened? She wondered.
" Where's Grandpa? " Sofya asked Susan in a quiet tone, getting out of the bed.
" He left early in the morning, before I even woke up." Sofya frowned. It was unlike of him to wander off in the morning. What was so urgent?
Sofya called him. He didn't pick up. Where could he be?

Thornfield Mansion
" How many times have I told you Arnav? Behave yourself, Sofya is not like every other women you sleep with. " Mr. Raizada bellowed at him angrily, throwing the Morning Times at his face.
Arnav said nothing. Yesterday was bad enough, now this.
What really angered Mr. Raizada was not the fact that they had dinner together, but rather the thought that Arnav had tried to kiss Sofya forcefully, against her will. Sofya was like a daughter to him. He had promised her dad on his deathbed, he would always protect her, no matter what. Even if it was from the actions of his own son. He had pointed this out to Mr. Khemka also.
" Mr. Raizada? "
" What? "
The assistant bowed before speaking. They were standing in the great Hall of the mansion. Mr. Khemka was also there. All the maids and butlers were in attendance, even Advay, who had woken up from the commotion in the hall. Yet no one dared to make a sound. All of them knew his temper, it was rare, which was something.
At 5:30 am, Arnav had been awakened by the head Butler, saying Mr. Raizada wanted to see him. Arnav was least concerned what he had to say, but since he could not outwardly refuse, he had gone to see him in his study. What surprised him was that Sofya's Grandpa was also present there, that too at dawn. Then he had come to know about the matter at hand.
