42 Little Bra

" Wow, this is so so so pretty! " Susan stared at the gown in awe, her eyes wide and twinkling. She was all praise for the wedding gown. Standing in front of the full length mirror, she put the gown on top of her dress, just to see how she would look in it.

" Why don't you try it? " Sofya asked her, coming out of the shower. She was dressed in her PJs and her tied up hair was dripping water.

" Thanks for the offer, but nope. Haven't you heard, sis? It's inauspicious for anybody else to try it on before wedding day. " Susan told her off reasonably. Sofya rolled her eyes.

Sitting in front of the mirror, she began drying her hair with blow dryer. As hard as she might try, her mind was still wandering in between Nina's threat and the kiss.

" So " Susan asked sitting on the bed, and looking at her sister expectantly, " was this gown your choice or bro-in-law's ? "

" Mine " Sofya answered too quickly.

" But he must have liked it, right? "

" Hmm. "

" You paid for this yourself? "

" No, he did. "

" Did something else happen ? Something more interesting, like I dunno, a hug or maybe -- "

" That is enough. " Sofya finally put down her hair dryer, as she turned around to face her sister, her cheeks a little red. " If your interrogation is over, you may go to sleep. " she added sternly.

Susan smiled, a big wide smile. Pointing at Sofya, she exclaimed excitedly, " Oho, so something did happen. Finally! How was it? "

Sofya so red in the face now that she could feel the heat coming off of herself. Standing up, she grabbed Susan's arm, dragged her to the door of her room and shut the door on her face.

Susan laughed. Suddenly a thought occurred to her. Just to tease her sister more, she yelled " Don't worry, I will tell bro-in-law that you enjoyed it very much. "

With that, there was complete silence.

Sofya sighed. Little brat, I will teach you a lesson, just wait and watch.

With her hair dry and the bed looking very inviting, Sofya was tempted to sleep.

But before that she had some work. Calling Sawyer, she asked him to check for every possible associates that Nina might have paid to **** Susan. She also asked him to send some professional guards to destroy the photos in her possession.

Leaning back on her chair, she closed her eyes. Nina really had surpassed herself. She was still the same as she had been in school, crazy and obsessive. But this time, she had really crossed a line by hurting her sister. Wait till I get back at you for it, Sofya thought.

Glancing at her cellphone, she saw there were no calls but one message from Arnav. Her heart beating a little fast, she opened it.

' Good night. I had a great time today. Hope you enjoyed it too. '

Was he referring to the kiss or everything else?

She quickly wrote ' Me too ' and sent with a smiley emoticon.

Smiling, she got up and headed towards the bed. As she turned around to switch off the bedside lamp, she noticed a black envelope sitting there.
