Chapter 125 - Another Groupie

Su Liancheng was so right.

The group knew it very well that chances were the people who made the fire were still around, but they led the wolf pack to the fire anyways. This showed how selfish they were, they were basically forcing the people who made the fire to help them out.

However, Su Liancheng had spoken for the whole team that they disdained the group’s behavior.

The girl named Yu swept Su Liancheng, Feng Qing who were standing by the fire, and Murong Yun who was standing by the tent. For a long time that she thought highly of her own group, she thought the boys in her group were young, capable and good-looking, it wasn’t until now did she realize that beyond the mountain was another mountain, she was amazed by Su Liancheng, Feng Qing and Murong Yun’s bearing.

The boys in her own group now were eclipsed by the three young men.

People who were capable usually tended to be proud, so Yu wasn’t annoyed by Su Liancheng’s response, she tried so hard to made eye contact with Murong Yun because she knew it immediately that Murong Yun was the Alpha in the team, but Murong Yun didn’t even spare her a look in spite of Yu’s silent and endearing messages sent by her bewitching eyes.

All that didn’t escape Luo Qianqian who was hiding in the tent, Luo Qianqian shook her head resignedly, ‘Looks like Murong Yun has got another groupie, this made me miss Gu Lina, aww, good times.’

The wolf pack were infuriated by the attack, but they thought this was Yu’s group’s doing, so they picked themselves up from the ground and charged at Yu and her group.

A wolf darted at Yu with its teeth bared,the wolf caught Yu’s right leg with its hind legs and left a long scratch mark on Yu’s back.

Yu cried out in pain, “Somebody help!”

She was staring at Murong Yun even though she asked help from ‘somebody’, hoping to catch Murong Yun’s attention, but Murong Yun just watched the fight with a meaningful smile on his face, not sparing a look at Yu.

And the other men in Yu’s group could hardly look after themselves from the wolves, Yu knew she had to protect herself at this point. She kicked the wolf’s flank and withdrew her whip from her sleeve, attacking the wolves who were trying to come near her.

Anyone who dared to come to Monster Forest was clearly was capable martial arts cultivators, Yu was a great cultivators who specialized on whips.

However, she was exhausted at this point due to the prior fight with the wolves and the long-distance running from them, she was showing more and more weaknesses in the fight.

But soon they realized that wasn’t feasible, the wolves were stronger than they thought, so a man leaped to Yu and carried her to the fire.

The man made a bow with hands folded in front, “Please allow this lady stay out of fight, thank you so much!”

Su Liancheng and Feng Qing looked at Murong Yun and Luo Qianqian for further instructions, Luo Qianqian nodded gently.

Yu was more than glad that she could stay here, she looked at the young man who carried her, “Ao, watch out, your elder brother is still waiting for us.”

“I will, don’t worry!” the young man nodded at Yu and went back to the fight.

Yu struggled to stand up and walked to Murong Yun, “Thank you so much for …” with that she fell over to Murong Yun’s shoulder, and next second she raised her head shyly only to meet a pair of bright eyes.

Yu panicked, ‘How come it’s this girl who is supporting me, I fell on the man’s shoulder, what has happened!’

“Thank you so much, young lady.” Yu put on a smile.

“Don’t worry I guess.” Luo Qianqian winked at her.

Murong Yun now caught Luo Qianqian’s hand and used a hankerchief to wipe the blood that she got from supporting Yu on her hand.

Yu’s group had indeed suffered enough, Luo Qianqian didn’t have the heart to see any more blood-shedding, “Su Liancheng, Feng Qing, I believe now it’s the time that you two appear like a hero.”

Su Liancheng pouted like a little girl, “Feng Qing can take care of this by himself.”

Seeing that, Yu heaved a sigh of relief, her back was heavily injured, so she leaned on a tree to regulate her breaths, she still looked very pretty in spite of the extra pale countenance due to the loss of blood.
