Chapter 129 - 129: Summoning an Eternal Dragon...

…

*Planet Cereal*

Flying over the mountains, Edam was quietly wondering like a ghost as his gaze swept by the hills and rivers near.

In his hand, he held an orange-crystal orb with a single star in it.

Yamote and he arrived hours ago on this planet. He had already gathered information from the inhabitants to know the exact location of the two magical orbs.

Although Zuno gave him the locations of the orbs, Edam wasn't from this planet and so had to gather more Intel from the inhabitants.

However, for a reason or another, whenever they would see him and look at his tail, a look of terror would fill their eyes as they ran away.

Having no choice, Edam would stop them, and extract as much information as he can from them using his memories reading skills… After asking five people, he finally obtained what he needed and went to search for the orbs after retrieving a map.

He found one in some ruins indicated by Zuno while he kept searching for the other in the depths of a mountain.

"Umm, we've been searching for an hour, my lord, maybe that idiot lied to us…?"

"..." Edam fell in deep silence, an intense purple glow shining in his already red eyes. "He'd better not… I would be ready to make the entire road back there for his head this time around…"

As he said that though his eyes spotted something.

In the jaw of an alien cat, the orb was being played with and licked repeatedly.

Edam appeared in front of it and asked. "Good cat, give it to me would you?"

Normally, he could communicate to a certain point with animals and so kept hope that no violence was needed.

However, this cat wasn't raised well it seems, and attacked him for a reason that he ignored.

Of course, Edam had no choice but to send this poor thing flying like a broken cat, before taking the orb off its jaw.

…

And that's how he got the two orbs and went to a quiet and lone place.

"That's it then?" The young man put the two balls down.

"Yup, we only need to formulate the summoning words…" Yamote flapped his wings and said.

"Alright, do it..." Edam said looking forward to seeing what an eternal dragon was like.

"Understood! Takkaraputo tottoronbo pupirittoparo!" Yamote spoke in the foreign language of the namekians.

The summoning words finished, the two orbs shone a brilliant light and black clouds filled the sky in an instant.

And…

Bim!

From the two orbs, a string of light shot up and pierced the sky before taking the form of a huge and majestic dragon with axolotl-like features, reminding Edam of some of the inhabitants that he saw earlier.

"I wouldn't have thought I would receive the visit of deity… But please do state your wishes, if it is within my powers I will do my best to grant it…" The dragon asked with a humble and respectful tone.

Hearing it, Edam's eyes opened in surprise, as he didn't expect this dragon to be so courteous and polite.

However, he didn't know whom he referred to as a deity. For all he knew and deduced, Yamote was once a deity too and according to him he hasn't ascended and reached the strength of God yet.

"Umm, hello, Eternal dragon Toronbo was it?" Yamote asked with uncertainty.

"My name is Toronbo indeed…"

"Hn…" Yamoted simply nodded and turned his head toward Edam. "You can state your wish, my lord…"

"Okay, I will go straight to the point then, can you heal someone from a Destruction Core?"

"A Destruction Core?" Toronbo's eyes glow a red light for a moment as if he was thinking. "Hmm… I'm afraid this might be impossible… even if my creator were to give me more powers, it wouldn't be enough…"

"..." A tint of disappointment came across Edam's face before going back to normal as he sighed.

"However, the best solution would be to gather the Super Dragon Balls to summon the Dragon God himself, its power is nigh absolute…"

"I know but it will be too long…" Edam nodded and added. "Can you perhaps gather the Super Dragon Balls?"

However, Toronbo didn't even need to think about it as he shook his head.

"This is impossible, I and no one can affect the Super Dragon Balls apart from themselves, the Omni-King or-..." Toronbo stopped mid-way in his speech, his eyes gazing toward Yamote and then setting themselves on Edam with doubts.

"Then… Do you think that Porunga can grant my wish…?"

"In all honesty, no…"

"...Send us directly on earth then…"

"I can grant this wish, yes…" Toronbo nodded in agreement.

"Then do it please…"

"As you wish… and farewell…" The dragon's eyes flickered a red light.

"Goodbye… it was nice to meet you Toronbo…" Edam said and before he could be aware of anything, his and Yamote's bodies were enveloped in red light as they disappeared out of sight.

…

…

"Tokitoki! Come back here, where are you going?!" What seemed to be a little girl kept chasing after a bird. "For god sake calm down!"

"Toh! Toh!" However, the bird in question wasn't stopping at all and became even more agitated.

"Hum?" A purple-haired young man then went to her and asked. "Kai of Time, what's happening with Tokitoki?!"

"I don't know at all, he's been like this since this morning…!" She said infuriated.

"...? Perhaps it's a change in history again, have you checked the scrolls?"

"Of course, it was my first thought, but nothing had changed at all…"

"Hum, let's double-check it?"

"...Well, alright…" the little girl said as they both walked toward a huge building resembling a birdcage.

They then arrived at a table where multiple scrolls could be seen.

"See? It's perfectly normal…"

"Yeah…"

"You two, what are you doing here this early?" An old man suddenly came and asked.

"Old Kai, Tokitoki has been agitated since this morning. Do you know something?"

"Eh… maybe he wants a female bird company?" The Old Kai said jokingly but…

Teng!

A scroll flew right on his face like a cannonball

"You disgusting old man, Tokitoki is a divine bird, he doesn't need something like that to lay his eggs!" The little girl yelled at the old man.

"You! Chronoa you better respect this old man, I'm older than you!"

"You're only a thousand years older… and your words were stupid and deserved it…"

"Tch, I was just giving some ideas…" The old man rubbed his head and looked away.

"..." Chronoa then wondered about something. "Hmm, wait a minute… in fact, you might not be wrong…"

"...?" The old man and the young man turned around. "What do you mean?"

"Well, have you never wondered why there were two perches in the pond outside of the Time Nest?"

"... So you mean that there was another bird?"

"Well, yes… before becoming the Kai of time I had to care and make my Tokitoki egg hatched successfully which I did…"

The girl said and remembered the event.

"However, to my surprise, there was not just one bird in that egg but two!" She lifted two fingers at them.

"What?! This is impossible… How could there be two divine birds of time…?!" The old man exclaimed out loud.

"Well, the thing is... one of the two birds just didn't have any power over time but

possessed power over space instead…!"

"This is unbelievable… but why aren't we aware of that?"

"I'm coming to it… after that, I did my best to raise them both. Tokitoki was calm with a noble bearing while the other bird was a very agitated bird with a very human-like gaze. I then built this pond there for them both, but…"

"One day, someone came over to the Nest and decided to take it away…" Chronoa said still angry about it but still deeply afraid about it too.

"Huh? What? Who?"

"…"

"..." The Old Kai was also pondering when something came to his mind. "...Oi, Chronoa when did this happen you said…?"

"Oh, right you can't remember it since it was about seventy-five million years ago before you were sealed by Lord Beerus… before I became the Kai of Time and before the Demon Realm was formed too…" Chronoa said and then added.

"At that time, my master, the former Lord of Time Master Kronos, just told me to give the bird without asking a question, but of course I wasn't happy…" Chronoa remembered that scene as if it was yesterday.

The Old Kai's face became pale as he stuttered. "Wait, you don't mean that…"

"Exactly, if I'm correct, either the bird has returned, or the bird, as well as his master, came back…"

"..."

"But, either way, we have to check it…" After saying that, Chronoa went to browse through all the scrolls.

"Ah, let me help you…" The young man said and did the same followed by the old kai.

"Yeah me too…" It was rare for the old kai to help these two.

An hour later, she finally found something. "Here! Two people have entered the World of the Void… I knew it! It's truly the bird!"

"Really?"

"Yes, however… that's strange, I don't recognize the young man that he is accompanying…"

"Don't forget, 'he' is not immortal, eternal perhaps, but not immortal…"

"Oh right… I forgot…"

"Well, this young man is obviously a Saiyan, and why is his tail black…?" The old Kai looked on and noticed the black tail on the back of the young man.

"It means that he's perhaps from an ancient lineage of Saiyan…"

"Huh? But weren't they extinct a long time ago…"

"Yeah, that should be the case… however I do not detect any time fluctuation from them so they shouldn't be time travelers, so the only explanations are… he is either an immortal or a survivor from the 6 Universe's Erasure..."

…

*At the same time, on Planet earth...*

Edam took his first step on the field of a farm as he saw a huge city in the distance.

"Phew..."
